A great kashbah in the middle of the sanddunes! beautifull breakfast! But the airco doesn't work propperly.
Fantastic atmosphere and location! Beyond our wildest hopes! Giant insects in room!!
The location is extraordinary and fantastic to relax and enjoy the view of the dunes! Right in front of the dunes. You can easily walk into the dunes, also for sunrise. Breakfast is very good, dinner ok. The suites are not worth the money! The excursions are very expensive.
This hotel was excellent! Never seen a more beautiful location then this one (and I have seen many!!) even compared to the other hotels in this area. Breakfast served on the terrace with view on the desert and camels was amazing. It was even more beautiful then the pictures we saw at booking.com before going there. Very quiet, friendly and helpfull staff, feeling very close to nature. The 8 km trip into the desert, barefoot with guide and dromedare was marvellous, the lunch as prepared in a small berber tent in the middle of the desert terrific (a 2.000 stars restaurant!!). Ideal for couples, but can also be recommended for small business group (as survival weekend or to have meetings "en retraite"). A negative point could be the time you need to get there by car from Fez airport, this took us some 8 hours (some 450km, and many police controls!)) but the amazing views during this trip through mountains, prairies and small Moroccan villages was worth it all. We shot some 500 photos in 3 days. The combination with one night Fez to visit the souks was perfect, although our desert visit here in this hotel will always be our absolute best memory of Morocco.
fantastic location on the edge of the dunes, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful setting with pool and spacious terrace, good food. rooms were rather dingy and not that clean, bathrooms simple but adequate. Self appointed guides/trinket sellers tolerated in and around the hotel can be a bit tiresome though we had a very friendly guide who enlivened our stay!
Kanz Erremal is beautifully situated. More often than not I’ve found that pictures on websites make things look nicer than they really are, but those on the Kanz Erremal website don’t lie. On arrival, we felt that the reception could have been better, but the trek into the desert on camel made up for this and the service was good. I’d recommend brushing up on your French before your visit.
Breakfast was splendid, and the view on the sanddunes were magnificent. The swimmingpool was very nice. The staff was not very friendly, and the airconditioning went out all the time, but maybe that is inevitable in the desert.
The location and the attitude of the staff.
The hotel is placed directly to the dessert. Very very nice. Stay in a room with dessert view. The hotel guide Mhamed is very friendly. Good desert atsmosphere. When we came to the hotel the reception staff say that our reservation dates was changed to another dates, so we could'nt have the balcony suite. Instead we have towersuite without balcony. The hotel os very very used and we don't have hot water on our room when we stayed there in 2 nights. The pool water don't look clean. The breakfast was a little poor.
Good and quiet location, close mto the dunes and easy to reach from the high road, watch out for the road signs. Very pleasant hotel, quiet inner courtyard with swimming pool. Relatively good internet reception. Safe place for the car. Good bed, good shower, good food.
Quiet location near the dunes. Nice meals and comfortable rooms.Very good value for any budget.
Great staff, friendly service, family-run atmosphere. Wonderful desert experiences, both on camel and 4x4 tours all organised and operated in house. No pressure, and fine hospitality. All good.
i like the staff is very friendly and the room is clean and good breakfast. The location is very strategic exactly in front of the dune. nothing
Lovely hotel on the edge of the desert dunes. Silence and warm sun makes it an unique relaxing place. On demand trips to the desert can be arranged with the staff. A nice place worth spending time in.
The position of the hotel is amazing. In front of the desert. The dinner and breakfast was good. The perfect stay for a couple of days in the desert. There is also a little swimming pool. Too hot during the summer. Very Very hot!!!
A beautyful oasis on the edge of the dunes. A big room, pool, garden, roof terrece and very good food.Frendly, funny staff.
i like to be very close of the sand and of the desert of sahara.
We chose the hotel in order to have a comfortable location at the edge of the desert. It fulfilled our need at a reasonable price, with just the facilities and opportunities for a desert experience that we wanted. We did not find any surprises.
on the day we arrived, there was no room available for us (water problems!) and we were taken to another hotel which was nicer and friendlier. What a shame that we had to move back to Mohayut the following day!
Stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, great food and extremely good service. Staff were friendly and helpful, and when we overslept for breakfast due to a very tiring and long drive, they provided a lovely breakfast nevertheless. Great overnight desert stay too- will never forget it! Slightly uncomfortable little bed.
Flexibility Too few infos about the exact location
Excellent location, 50 meters from the dunes.... Air condition does not work until late night, and the orice for dinner is almost double of what you can get around
The location. In contrast with the other places that we stayed in Morocco, the staff gave an air of slyness and unhelpfulness at first. This improved after a bit of effort on our part to be friendly but they need to work on their reception of guests.
We had a perfect stay here, 1 night in the kasbah and 1 at the bivouac. The kasbah is right on the edge of the dunes, is comfortable and clean and has a lot of character. Dinner was excellent both nights (and catered to us as vegetarians), and breakfast (served on the terrace with views of the dunes) was the best we had in Morocco. The overnight camel trek was amazing - although slightly more expensive than some alternatives, you get to stay in a small, private camp surrounded by dunes, with a flush toilet and proper comfortable beds - our guide was totally professional and great to talk to by the campfire. Mohamed and his staff are very friendly and helpful and can arrange private transfers (which we thought were well priced).
