Pros: Excellent service at check-in from James.
Cons: Would really like to get my final receipt at check-out time and not have to wait and receive it via e-mail.

You get what you pay for
Pros: The price was incredibly affordable.
Cons: The car was not as clean as I expected. The windows and had rain drop stains all over, and there was dust inside. There was no, and I mean no, window washer fluid. Then, after checking out, I was not reimbursed the entire $200 hold on my debit card. When I called to ask about this, the manager told me or was because there was a glitch in the system (seemed very suspect) that charged me way too much for a daily rate. He did refund me, but I will never use this company again.

Horrible overall experience
Cons: Car was rented for 11pm. Arrived at 11:15pm. Was told by a shuttle driver that office is already closed. Tried calling a dozen times, nobody picked up. Ended up renting from another company at the airport for 6 times the price. All of this could have been easily avoided with a clear label that advantage is closed at nights.

Cons: Why confirm a confirmation for 10pm if the office closes at 8pm? Couldn't get my car, looking for a refund. This was a total scam!!

Advantage was closed when I arrived at the airport
Cons: They were closed at 11pm.

Pros: Car worked well and the drop off was very easy
Cons: The process of picking up the car was very slow and not very customer friendly.

Low inventory, but OK service
Pros: All in all, the sales associate was attentive, but this was only after I called Hertz when they told me I was getting a minivan. The price was low, and the ease of return was high. The car I got was nice and well maintained.
Cons: I had a reservation for a mid-size car, and they wanted to give me a minivan, because some renters hadn't returned their cars. They should manage their inventory better, so that all their cars aren't rented out when customers arrive.

Pros: Car was ok
Cons: Location off airport was disorganized and slow. No ink in printer so didn't receive rental contract at time of rental. promised to email contract but never did. Had no documentation while using rental. Upon return it took forever to straighten out. Almost missed flight. Will never use them again. Three other clients renting at same time had same experience.

Cons: Service was sub par, the car received was dirty with mechanical problems. This will be the last time I rent a car from Advantage.

Courteous staff, confusing shuttle
Pros: Good deal, courteous staff.
Cons: Shuttle was poorly marked so we missed two that passed us by while waiting and we finally had to call for instructions. It's marked "wallypark" and only has "ez advantage" on the digital reader board.

More ups than downs
Pros: The minivan was clean and spacious and had additional features (e.g., back-up camera) that I wasn't expecting. Everyone I worked with was kind and professional. Compared to other car rental companies, I thought I received a great price on both vehicles we rented. I would use Advantage again.
Cons: The pick-up and drop-off took longer than I expected and the waiting area is small for the number of people with luggage waiting for a vehicle - a minor inconvenience. I was told the gas tank would be full, but I noticed after driving 20+ miles that it was sitting at 1/2 tank. I called immediately and was informed that my paperwork had been updated to reflect 1/2 tank so this went much more smoothly than I anticipated.

Off-site location closed with no shuttle
Cons: Got in to airport as scheduled, around 9:30. Found out Advantage was off-site with no shuttle to be found. Read the fine print on my receipt and it said hours were 8:00-6:00. I ended up renting a car from Thrifty instead.

Pros: The "come-on" price looked good. Real Price at check out? - not so much.
Cons: I'm not sure why I was shown a $237 price at first, then surprised when it was over $281 at check out. The only place I can see for the overage is in the offer to "fill the tank by the company". Their representative said, "We're a lot less than at the pump." That should have warned me. I last filled my Taurus in Oregon (a high gas price state), for $26.60. The added surprise cost from Advantage? - over $44. Last time I rented from Enterprise, their final price was understandable, reasonable, and I topped off the tank before returning the car for a LOT less than $44. I'll go back to them next time, and avoid Advantage. Also, the car had a huge scuff on the front left bumper and quarter panel. The rep acted surprised to see it, but I was in a hurry to get my elderly Mom at the airport, so I accepted it. Otherwise, the car was fine. The rental place was understaffed and folks waiting with me had complaints about their waits. A fellow waiting with me told me his first rental set off a tire warning light as he left to start his trip. He took it back, finding a nail it, and he told me the attendant said; "It'll be OK." After insisting, he was given a repaired tire. Sure, these are hear-say, but all in my one visit to Advantage? C'mon.

You get what you pay for...which isn't much
Pros: The cost was considerably lower than other companies...but the hassle isn't worth it.
Cons: Needed a minivan for our family of 6. I reserved well in advance. They simply said "sorry...we have no minivans". When I ask how and why...I was told, "we oversold...and have none available." When I asked how could they rectify this situation...there was no response other then they could put me in a different vehicle...smaller and barely accomodating our kids and bags. We drove in a cramped SUV with a child virtually drowning in luggage in the back seat. Never again will I use this company. Simply mediocre.

Good bang for the buck.
Pros: Nice car. Nice people. Good gas mileage Great value. Will rent from them again.
Cons: No place to park. Car was not clean. No sign out front. Tank not full but was when I returned it.

Beer cans in trunk
Pros: I picked up my car from advantage with no issues. That night me and my wife decided to go out to dinner and have a few drinks, when we got home and decided to load our suitcases into the trunk of the car, there were 5 OPEN beer cans in open view. That night I called advantage, only to speak to an answering service, no representatives past 5pm. Then that same day on the instrument panel the "Add air pressure" lights up, so I add air to the tire that it said "Right front". The very next day, "Add air pressure" lights up again, this time on the "Right rear", I add air again. The very next day after all that, the "Channel engine oil soon" lights up.in a nut shell, Advantage does not CLEAN OR SERVICE their vehicles at all. DO NOT RENT
Cons: The whole service was terrible, car was not serviced or cleaned before dispatching. If I could give an 0 rating I would.

Pros: Friendly service. Reliable car. Good price.
Cons: Originally supplied a car with cigarette smoke in it. Then supplied another that was better. Upon online purchase of the rental, was not billed the additional $75 for two-city rental - would have preferred this up-front billing rather than the surprise at pickup.

Cons: We arrive at airport car rental not on site. Called the number on hold for 25 minutes which was about 6:20 when answered phone and said they closed at 6. Therefore we didn't get the car. When making the reversation they should let you know what time they close. Poor communication.
