Hyundai Santa Fe was very comfortable car.
Pros: Very comfortable car. Easy return.
Cons: Took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter to check out the car.

Dirty car seats
Pros: The car had significant scratches and big dent including visible stains on front and back seats. I would be ashamed to have family or guests in this car, luckily I used for work and travelled alone.

more fees and wipers needed replacing
Cons: broken credit receiver (took 30 minutes to pick up car) and the wipers were ineffective. i had to purchase a new wiper to see ($18) and the fees were $30 more than quoted rate.

Pros: The price was very good, but even with that I will never use Advantage again.
Cons: The agent at pick up point was very intimidating in trying to sell their car insurance. Once I declined she continued with scare tactics such as "we don't contact your insurance we come after you." What... wasn't that a threat. Once I got to the car it looked like it had been in a fender bender on the outside and the seats were so stained on the inside I declined the first car. After another 20 minutes got a car that looked acceptable, only to get a slow leak in a tire after a couple of days. I have been renting cars at Sac. Airport since 1992, by far this was the worst experience I have ever had, Will not do business with Advantage again,

Pros: Nice new car, drove well. Pickup and dropoff was hassle-free.
Cons: Gastank cover didn't latch closed.

Cons: The $200 deposit run against my credit card at pick up. Never had that requirement before. SUV was not in great shape. Lots of damage to note on paperwork.

Pros: Brand new car, no line, super friendly helper, easy to extend. 60% less than the big companies. I'm a fan!

Cons: I called ahead when my flight got delayed from 10 pm arrival to just before midnight to let them know I would be coming. After being on hold 15 min, I finally used the voice mail option to leave a message repeating my name, confirmation number twice. Since my flight was 4 hours long I expect they would have had time to pick up the voice mail. When I got there, they were gone and the guy at the counter next to them said they closed up at 11:30 even though they advertise being open until 12. So the guy next to them got my business

easy and pleasant
Pros: The people were friendly, the car was excellent and the price was incredible! Seriously the car was so new and easy to drive with fun features like folding in mirrors when the doors locked. Picking up and dropping off were super easy with no wait times. I was not pressured into buying features I didn't need. It was great.
Cons: Nothing that impacted my trip. One thing that would be awesome would be if you could select AWD/4WD when you book online at the Sacramento location. I know you can ask for it in person, so it's not a huge deal, but is one thing none of the rental companies had. If it had been a snowy weekend I would have gone with Zipcar instead because I know their Suburu would work for driving to Tahoe. But if I could be sure when booking I had a car that would take me to the slopes I would go with Advantage every time. Luckily when I was there there was a minuscule chance of snow issues.

Pros: I liked the fact that the car had a full tank of gas.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I booked the car almost 2 months in advance and I asked for a Chevy Impala because I am 6"4 and needed a bigger car. I assumed when the advertisement said Chevy Impala or similar that if they did not have an Impala they would put me in something like a Dodge Charger, but instead I was put into a Toyota Camry which is much smaller than an Impala.

Dirty & Smoky
Pros: The staff is polite and, for the most part, timely. Occasionally you have to wait for a rep when you're returning the car.
Cons: The cars I rent from this Advantage always have dirty/filmy inside windows. They need cleaned INSIDE, too. The interior of this car also smelled of cigarette smoke.

Pros: The car was clean
Cons: They did not accept my out of the country insurance coverage even tho I'm an insured driver worldwide, the registration process was long and it took a long time to get the car. I was waiting for a brand new midsize car that I never got.

Failed to clean the vehicle
Pros: I like that the gave me a hybrid at no extra cost. But I honestly think that it was the only car available on the lot
Cons: When we picked up the car the agent hurried us through the paperwork and verbally told us about one part of the car that was damaged and told us to sign (we were running late because of flight delays, so we did so) when we got into the car we noticed that there was dog fur in the cup holders and the rear seat. Then we notice that there is soda or grease all over the dash. Then we discovered a dried white substance on the passenger seat. A little upset about this, I got back into the hut that we filled out paperwork in to ask for about another car (or to at least document something) and no one was there. I waited for about 5 minutes and no one showed up to help me. But while waiting I read over the paper work and saw that they had noted a stain and dog hair and a bumper scratch. I'm pretty sure I'm never using this company again. I'm shocked that they would hand off a car in such terrible condition with no effort made to clean the car.

Pros: The counter staff was efficient and had the car ready in few minutes
Cons: The procedure to leave the car without checking in the weekend seems to be a worry. But it ended fairly well.

No issues at all
Pros: Speed in getting rental was good. Speed in returning rental was good. No issues with car. The shuttle was on time for pick up and return, and the shuttle is not a part of Advantage or any other car rental company. It is part of the airport.

Pros: good price for 9 days.
Cons: The first car smelled of cigarettes. I had to walk back to exchange my rental. What was good was an exchange was arranged without a fuss.

Pros: Read many reviews and must say that we had a great experience. Picked up our car, Mazda CX9, at the airport in Sacramento on the Monday before Christmas. 4 people ahead of me in rental line and the girl at the counter was totally efficient and very pleasant and we were in and out within 5 or 6 minutes. After checking all other rental agencies really feel like we got a great value on the car. It was clean, full of gas, had all the room we needed for 4 peoples luggage that were going skiing for a week and tires were in good enough shape to get us over the pass without chains. Return was a snap. Pulled up, unloaded our gear and they asked if an emailed receipt was ok, I said yes and we were done. Receipt was in my email inbox before we even got checked in for our flight home and price was exactly what I expected. No hassle, no fuss, no muss. I'll rent from them again.

Smelled like smoke and lots of car damage
Pros: It was relatively inexpensive
Cons: The car had 15-20 dents and smelled like smoke. The lady who helped us said she did not have any other cars that didn't smell like smoke or have a bunch of dents and dings.

Very efficient and smooth service
Pros: Although the estimate on kayak.com was $15 lower than what I ended up paying, I paid exactly what Advantage estimated when I picked up the car. There was no waiting at all on either end of my one-way rental. I walked right up to the counter. The price was about average among all the car companies I was given a quote for. But I really appreciated that there was no drop-charge (Enterprise charges one) for my one-way rental.
Cons: On drop-off, you cannot change the credit card or method of payment from the one you establish when you pick up the car.

Cons: I don't like it they don't have full size SUV and I have to compromise for mini van and they promise me to give me more discount but nothing Yet and they told me even though I paid upfront still have to drive the car which I don't want to so its a horrible experience and they blame ur website that u guys don't know anything

Fast check in and out
Pros: Best price. The CDW insurance only $9 a day
Cons: It's the furthest away check in counter and car park.
