Cons: Incompetent and horrible customer service. They lost my bag and would never call me to tell me what was going on. I called them for 14 days straight and they simply said sorry. Three hours into a seven hour flight they ran it of peanuts, drinks, I asked the flight attendant three times for a blanket and of course by the third time they were all gone. Plane was freezing. The tv sound was piercing and the ear buds were uncomfortable. Staff was absolutely moronic and not sorry about anything. Never fly them

Special meal issues
Pros: After being on hold to order a special meal for over 2 hours, I finally emailed the special needs email address. I wasn't sure if I would get the meal or not, but did get it. And I got it for the return flight too, even though I hadn't included the return flight details in the original email.
Cons: The meal was pretty basic, and compared to my traveling companion, did not include some items that I could eat, such as dessert! And even though I was given butter, I did not have a roll, which is also something that I cold eat. Then the second snack meal on each flight was just a repeat of some of the items from the original meal. It would have been nice to have something different, such as a sandwich without the tomato. My allergy is to the nightshades, ie> tomato, peppers, eggplant.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: It is difficult to contact aer lingus if there is a problem. I had difficulty checking in online but could get no response from customer service.

Pros: Flight was comfortable. However the thing that stood out to me was one of the flight attendants. She was absolutely the sweetest with the children and elder people flying. She made sure they were comfortable and checked on them frequently. She was even on my return flight and did the same thing. Really went above and beyond.
