Special meal issues
Pros: After being on hold to order a special meal for over 2 hours, I finally emailed the special needs email address. I wasn't sure if I would get the meal or not, but did get it. And I got it for the return flight too, even though I hadn't included the return flight details in the original email.
Cons: The meal was pretty basic, and compared to my traveling companion, did not include some items that I could eat, such as dessert! And even though I was given butter, I did not have a roll, which is also something that I cold eat. Then the second snack meal on each flight was just a repeat of some of the items from the original meal. It would have been nice to have something different, such as a sandwich without the tomato. My allergy is to the nightshades, ie> tomato, peppers, eggplant.
