We visited the hotel slightly off season, so the value for money was outstanding. Great location and variety of facilities. Unfortunately, we did not have time to make use of them. Good starting point for one-day trips to nearby sights if you are not in to relaxation on the beach. Food quality and variety is just sufficient, it's never a 5-star experience.
The beach area is very nice here. The two bedroom suites were perfect for our needs, and there don't appear to be many of those within this area of Turkey that we could find. The food is not very good at Richmond Ephesus. It is your typical international cuisine buffet that they make for 500+ guests each meal, so the quality suffers. It was without a doubt the worst part of the resort. We ended up driving into Selcuk for most of our meals, only eating the buffet when the timing suited us. If your intent is to explore ruins and the surrounding area, this isn't the place for you. If I go back I'll stay at a hotel within Selcuk for this purpose. If you intend to spend the majority of your time on the beach, then this will work. But why would you go to Selcuk to do that?
The AC is central system. They stop air conditioning system from time to time, and rooms get very hot.
The beach is nice, sandy and spacious. 1-No air Conditionning in the hotel, only ventilation, we sweat all night, u can't open windowns because of mosquitos. 2- Food of poor quality, not fresh, some cups have marks on them. 3- Staff not helpful. 4- you need to pay for the safebox in the room.
You will need a car to get to the res. It is not a difficult drive but the hotel is located almost to the end of the road with a fabulous sea view.
The food is amazing. Great quality, freshness and selection. The room was disgusting. The carpet had dozens of stains, it smelled like smoke, the bathtub leaked, the AC didn't work and the one blanket on the bed was scratchy like an old bath towel. Overall the property was old and dingy.
The staff were so helpful and friendly! The location was amazing. The food was very good, and there was lots to be had! Our rooms were comfortable, and we're surprised with chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival! The music was great! We would stay here again! There was some remodeling going on, so it was a bit loud. It would have been nice if they had not remodeled during the meal hours, since there was a lot of drilling going on. Also it was a bit dim inside. It felt like the lights could have been turned up a bit.
The hotel far exceeded our expectations for what we paid. The hotel appeared to be very new. The room was comfortably & attractively furnished and had a balcony. We enjoyed having drinks and dinner at the 5th floor restaurant which had a spectacular view of the harbor across the street. It was very convenient to walk to shops and the ship that we were about to board for a cruise. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The food was very good and attractively presented. My only small quibble is that the salad seemed to have been prepared earlier and kept in the refrigerator rather than prepared immediately before the meal. But this is a minor quibble!
We lucked out playing computer roulette and got excellent end-of-season rates for this splendid all-inclusive resort. Particularly liked the idea of a quiet pool because other resorts have only the loud music pool. The variety of food and restaurants and views is superb. The staff goes out of its way to make you feel pampered and special. Stay away from the Turkish Bath. Rates high. I got chilled waiting for my soap massage and my wife was groped during her massage. But they're not officially connected with the hotel, so that experience shouldn't reflect on Kustur Klub itself.
nice environment, relaxing atmosphere, nice activities and facilities slow room service staff, and room cleanng each day was not thatgood to match its star ratings
Friendly staff, nice enviroment, big trees and squirrels everywhere, the food was average, special restaurants were better, all rooms are garden room.. There was a bad smell in the bathroom, they cleaned it again but the smell didn't change, that was very bad. the balcony door had to be repaired.
design of the hotel's area, its restaurants and the behavior of its staff with travelers.
We were very pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the food. Your salad bar in particular was creative and very fresh. We were also very pleased with the responsiveness of the staff, who really did make an effort to solve any problems that came up, and they did it quickly and with little fuss. The "all you can drink" benefit does not match the family nature of the hotel. Also, the pools close very early. We did a lot of day tours and would have enjoyed a swim in the pool when we got back, but they were always closed.
The postion of the hotel is fantastic and of five star standard. Staff were fantastic with the children.
View of the Aegean Sea, leaving. Terrible check-in experience, tiny rooms, dirty carpet, smokey smell in non-smoking floor, hidden incidental charges, very far from sightseeing locations, inconvenient transportation access, not five stars, poor value.
Pretty views. Nice front desk staff. Didn't know it was an all inclusive. Felt more like I was on a large cruse ship, waiting in the buffet line, than at a luxury hotel.
great location, really in front of the sea. all the beach activities available in the hotel. all meals are in the pacage but just in the high season in the big hotel, buffet time is restless. hotel guests are really international but some hotel staffs not understand even the basic English.
The only thing I liked at this hotel was the view. This is a terrible hotel that should never be classified as a 5 star Hotel. We're paying 200 euros for the night and the Orange juice from the breakfast buffet was not made from fresh orange, it was Tang juice. Bathroom very old and with a leaking shower. Definitely not worth the money.
As independent travellers we need local help and information. The front desk staff under Manager Hasan Polat could not have been more courteous, patient and helpful. Spontaneous room upgrade.Excellent value. They could not offer a room when we wanted to return the following week because the hotel was fully booked
The room, the view, the balcony, the food, the service. Better coffee--maybe the hotel could just cut the Nescafe and start using real coffee beans. This is a general problem for all of Turkey--so a note to all travelers who like good coffee: bring your own coffee making equipment and your own coffee.
I like the pancake corner and the view. Please see my review about the other hotel. The other hotel is excellent. This one is not. The breakfast room looks like a hospital to me. I did not like the all inclusive deal at all.
location ,close to centre, shops dining out. staff very serious, somewhat un-friendly, especiall front of house staff(reception).
close to the sea shore and we had fantastic sea view. The hotel room was very clean, provided breakfast. Hotel has restaurant - a very good one. Almost everything is within walking distance. none
Good value for reduced price, the promissed internet did not function. The furniture worn. Not very welcoming reception. We booked a suite but got a regular double room.
I found everything perfect with this hotel, I stayed with my elderly mother and two teenages .
The location is their only asset. The bed matress was the only good thing in the room. Furniture was old, room was dirty.
nothing. Arrived ar 4am, advised no room. Had to find alternative acc for the night. Had advised 2 weeks prior that I would be arrivided early and subsequently phoned 2 days before advising of my arrival. Rude staff, would not recommend. Woman travelling alone - disgrace.
