the location was very nice. Charged 500 Euro more than what was booked on line. Booked what was advertised on line but did not receive what was booked. No hot water Paid extra for hottub but never was able to use it electricity shut off every day by owner, I had to ask for it
needs some renovation
People are nice. Food was good. Bella Maris Hotel was hardly 4 stars hotel and we were surprised that it was rated as 5 stars hotel!!! People are generally nice. However, French was too much!!! TV channels were only Greek or French with only one English channel which is really not good. Rooms were also very poor considering them 5 stars rooms. Toilets were so old and needs reinnovatio Thank you
It was a lovely hotel and the situation was excellent. The facilities were great We were not aware that all the meals were included and we did not use them. Is there anyway that we can be credited when we come for our next stay. Many thanks
We were a few minutes from the beach. The hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable. They had two pools however we didn't use them. I think this resort could be a good stay depending we your room is located. We had a room on the 1st floor by the pool near the elevator and it was noisy. Since we were there for only two nights, I put up with it. (I am a light sleeper, however my wife sleep good). We attempted to have the hotel change us room but they said that they were full. Suggestion when booking at this hotel. Ask to be placed away from elevator and on the top floor. Other than that, it was a great hotel.
Very nice and clean hotel, nice and spacy room and balcony. The whole hotel are was in good condition. Maybe even too Eoropean like. Ideally located near to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. I would recommend it for sure. The hotel breakfast was same every morning, not much fresh fruit or salat, what I would have liked to see, but jougyrt was super.
Very comfortable. Stuff is friendly. Location is good: close to the beach and not too far from the intercity bus station. No noise. I will surely book this hotel if I visit Chersonissos in future. Nothinh important.
Staff were excellent and always willing to help. The location was excellent, Hersonissis has lots to do and see and it's a smaller village so it's quieter than Heraklion yet still a close distance by car or bus. Beach was a quick 3 minute walk away. Pool area was excellent and so relaxing. We booked a deluxe room so we were in one of the new buildings, they were excellent, our balcony overlooked the pool area. Excellent value for money! The breakfast had a large variety of foods and was great. the one complaint was that the hot food was never hot, it didn't seem like they had the heat lamps turned on.
Altough we eat a la cart outside, (I am Turkish and the food is same as in Turkey) the buffet menu was an excellent value for money. No
Entertaining dance show on Sat. nite Misleading description on internet---saying that my room has a seaview. When we arrived, there was no sea to be seen---blocked by wall for other rooms. When I complained to the front desk and asked for 1 that did have a seaview, they told me that they didn't have any available.
The hotel is quite new and comfortable Location is away from the city center, but with easy reach
Frendly staff, good location-near the beach, non far from the center, but not in it. All devices in the room work well, clean, comfortable bed. Dinner.
The staff were very friendly and the animation team were very professional. Allthe restaurant staff worked very hard to ensure you werew attended to prompltly. The hotel is very datted and like most Greek accommodation flatters itself that it is a 4 star. There were no facilites in the rooms other than a fridge and the rooms were basic but adequate. The loication of the hotel is poor and it is 35 minutes walk to the resort and longer to come bacxk on roads without pavements.
Excellent room, staff really friendly & very helpful None
Affordable price of room with half board, staff, internet facilities in the lobby at reasonable prices. Great value for money Not a sandy beach
Very Friendly and Relaxed Atmosphere.
We loved this hotel. We stayed half board. lovely location, great value, pleasant food, friendly staff meant a relaxing stay for 3 days.
The hotel was very good value for money, we only stayed 1 night, but wished we were there for longer, pleasant surroundings, set in lovely gardens
the top pool had room to sunbathe. staff favoured french communication. lack of air con in dining / public areas. absolutely no view from garden view room, this spoilt the holiday. useless broken gym facility.filthy under the bed. the accomodation was double the price it should have been
Quiet, friendly. Spacious. Ground floor room. Lovely pools. Access to sea. Very good food and wines. People smoking on adjacent balconies
It was quiet and also convenient for Elounda I found the hotel very good, but there could be some improvement regarding a couple of the staff at reception.A smile does not hurt!
The employees are really polite and and very pleasant. The swimming pools have a nice area and the hotel beach, even being stony, is great for snorkling. But I really recommend a car rental because there are many worth blue beaches close to Elounda. The hotel food is also really good.
huge rooms for two people (we stay at 106 room), nice hotel staff, good price/quality we were very upset about the insects in room.
It is a low cost hotel with not so clean rooms and many mosquitos, not far from the town and entertainment.
Good location, nice hotel, nice big clean rooms. Close to the beach and city centre. There were some ants in the room. Pretty small balcony, not the best view from the balcony.
The apartment in the basic Cretan style was so spacious with a large bedroom, lounge with kitchen, bathroom with bath! Lovely views over gardens and the pool
The location was good, the apartment huge. Staff great. It was a terrific value. Hotel could have been better maintained and cleaner.
This hotel is a perfect choice for those who want to relax! It is a very peaceful and beautiful place! The pool the garden and outside area is perfect!!!lovely owners ad very friendly!the location is very convenience since it is closed to the beach(500m) and near to Heraclion city (20km) if you want to escape to a big city.
The grounds are very nice. The room was roomy. The kitchen is small but useable. The location is remote enough so that there is little noise at night. The room and bathroom were clean.
This hotel was one of the best I have seen! Everything was excellent! (good atmosphere, fine furnished clean room, beautiful garden with 2 pools, good service etc.) The hotel owners Maria & George were so hospitably and helpful. They always took care and spoke frankly to guests. We could very enjoy & relax here. Our stay in Crete was became more fantastic by them. We absolute recommend you to stay in Kreta Natur. If you want to stay here, it is better to rent a car, because the hotel location is a little bit far away from a main load (about 10 min by food) and furthermore you can go to all around in Crete.
Maria and George, the owners, are really nice and well-educated people. They care about you and your stay. The hotel itself is in a good location, almost on top of the hill, and offers a good panoramic view. However, that also means that the beach is more than one step from the hotel. But there is a pool to compensate for that and overall, the hotel territory is nicely decorated. About 200 meters from the hotel there is a bistro, a bar, bike and two car rental services and an excursion trains pick up point. In about 10 mins walking you'll reach more bars, a couple of night clubs, a couple of souvenir shops, more bike\quad\moto rentals (hotel has a parking), a small supermarket. The nearest town is about 15-20 mins walking. WiFi is free. The nicely decorated hotel territory is in stark contrast with somewhat run-down roads and other public infrastructure nearby.
Clean, quite (except for bugs), excellent location - 3 min drive to Hersonissos, 10 min drive to Creta acquarium, 15 to aquapark.
we like the closeness to the sites and activities, the silence and the nature. every things was satisfactory.
George and Maria are wonderful hosts. The hotel is run in a very personable way. We were on a two week tour and had only two days on Crete so needed good access to Archeolgical Sites, Airport, and a relaxing beach. We had a great end of season rate for the hotel. There were some bugs in the shower (small fly like things.) Since it is run like a bed and breakfast, not too much late night ammenities. Difficult to find at first but close to main highway for access to Iraklio and Agios Nikolaos (great resort town!)
It was a great week in a great appartment. The owners (george and maria) were very nice to us and to the others. You stay a couple of minutes from Hersonisos in the quiet and beautiful Anisaras.
near the airport, little kitchen with basic stuff to cook, nice room, nice pool, nice little garden. the staff didin't tell us about the facilities of the surrondings (like the local bus, the nearest market), the city of Anissaras is really bad, nothing to do, ugly, really bad location, except by the fact that it is near the airport!
Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere with extremely attentive staff.
quait situation, view and location big diferens beetwin prises on food in hotel and outside
The service was out standing and we were upgraded to a room with a pool. Keep in mind this was in October and the weather was changing and it is a slow time of the year. We ate at the blue door, an outdoor café on the beach and the food was out standing. There breakfast buffet was out standing from Champaign to custom omelets. We also took a short walk to the next town, Plaka, for dinner and it was excellent and right on the beach also.
The staff were friendly, safety, the Italian restaurant was exellent. The location of the hotel is a little isolated, to go to the nearst town takes about 10 menutes by car. So,it is not convinient for those who like to go out. Also the concierge service is not accurate.
we like location & beach, sea was on 5 *, massages & stuff in spa was good as well. Service very poor, nobody on arrival told us about brackfast area, or even facilities... lift to beach & restaraunts was terrible (hot without conditioner) and there is no other way... Spa was quite old & threadbare not for 5* hotel..
Excellent place ! Much better than Elounda best hotels. Staff very helpful and kind. Very good cuisine. Beautiful design, quality facilities. Despite size of ca 250 rooms you feel like in a boutique hotel. Worth to come. Spa is rather dull: not to this hotel standard and undesftaffed.
The location is exquisite with luxury and relaxation on tap. The beach is very private with swimming and watersports readily available
The staff were extremely friendly and polite and the room was fantastic Only that our plunge pool was too cold to use
Mostly the location. They misrepresent the type and standard of the rooms for expample we reserved a bungalo. But what they call a bungalo is simply an ordinary double room and that we absolutely did not appreciate. And therefore would not return.
The room was really nice and the different accomodations (3 swimming pool and the fitness center free) The 5 restaurants were really poor comparing to the price they applied. The quality of food for a 5 stars hotel were really average and the price really expensive. The blue door restaurant was nice but sometimes I thought we had frozen food. The restaurants in Elounda (the town next door) were much more nicer than the one in the hotels.
peaceful, quiet, good place to relax 1.The greek restaurant should have a cover for the raining days; 2.The rooms should have acoustic insulation; 3. Should have more variety of fruits at breakfast; L'orangerie restaurant is not good for the price, the service is uncoordinated and bad.
View from room, breakfast, beach and swimming area
Food was excellent and the hotel staff was really helpful and very nice especially Elena in the reception. Very funny to have only 1 room key /even a couple not moving everytime together/, Internet is tragically bad and expensive comparing to the quality, parking lot was small but bigger problem that there was no camera system so we had a car problem and had to pay a lot because of that. Also strange that between 5-7 pm there is no food service on the beach and the most pathetic things is to separate people on the beach based on the type of room they paid for.
Great value for money to stay at Elounda, very close to all beaches and restaurants with a car or a moto (you need it anyway to explore the whole Lassithi area). A lot of shadowed parking spaces. Spacious room with nice lighting, big marble bathroom, powerful airconditioning. Excellent sea views from the room's balcony. Breakfast is buffet, not continental as advertised, and it's variation, quality and quantity is very good. Helpful and smiling people, they really make you feel like home. As you already understand, we'll definitely be back!
We loved the Villa. It was spectacular and the service of the staff was excellent. If this place was right on the beach it would be the perfect resort.
We liked the location, the staff & the view, since we've upgraded to a jounior suite, we enjoyed a joining swimming pool. Breakfast was poor in variety & freshness. There are only twin beds available (& they're too firm) no double king or queen size.
The staff were very friendly, helpful, and went out of there way to make sure we had a great time either by making suggestions for things to visit, restaurant recommendations, or just helping us with small problems. The room was clean and modern, and we had a nice terrace looking out onto the sea. The location of the hotel was very good & the pool is a great relief. In the morning the pool area was quiet, but fills up in the afternoon as other guests come back from their travels 1. It was difficult to find the hotel, because the sign was small. The quality of the fruits and yogurt for breakfast could have been better. Only the 5 star hotels in Elounda have their own private beach, which would be nice instead of having to travel to the public beaches or the small hidden ones. At the end of the day, many guests come back to use the pool, but as soon as the sun sets you pretty much have the pool to yourself. For those who take the pension with meals, depending on when you eat, you may be watching people swim in the pool while you eat.
Lovely room, with semi-private infinity pool. Generally luxurious feeling, but at the same time not too expensive. The hotel is too far to walk into the center of Elounda for dinner. The in-house dinner buffet was excellent, but it might get monotonous.
Hotel was well designed, the grounds attractive and well kept. we only booked breakfast, but that was good. All staff very helpful and friendly.we had a junior suit and shared pool, kept clean and was a pleasure to be there.Would we go back yes. Not really no.
nice hotel but not really design as you explain in the descriptif:the room furniture were really classic
very nice hospitality,peacefull enviroment
The hotel was in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we only found the shortcut to town on the second last day (although we didn't ask anyone either). Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and facilities and would go back again.
Very clean and a nice modern style. The bathroom was really fine. The aircondition was very effecient. Nice and quite surroundings It was a little far away from the beach 1 km away. It was not near to a town. As we had a car it was no problem.
Distance from the beach Quality of breakfast
resort-like hotel perched upon the mountainside overlooking a stunning little bay outside Istron, beach at 2 minutes walk down a stairs among ficus trees and bushes. Free parking, pools, minimarket. Friendly staff, got offered a bottle of wine by the night-watcher to apologize for forgetting our wake-up call:) paid 68eur/night Food at the dinner buffet (12 eur) and breakfast wasn't so good (very fast food like). Wifi is not free (cheap though, 90min/5eur)
the quality of breakfast/dinner was very poor
