Good location near the beach. The swimming pool was nice. Staff was friendly even though we often had to ask twice/three times for the same thing. Despite 'recent renovation', the shower was (tiny and) old. The breakfast was of poor quality. The cats were everywhere (which was scary for us having a tiny baby) and eating off what was left from the plates at breakfast. The rag at the balcony was filthy. We booked the room with kitchenette but the staff did not provide us with pots and plates and, when asked upon, only gave us a tiny pot (so we gave up altogether.
The airconditioning didn't work properly, the TV had only 3 channels, the bed was full of sant when we got there and the bathroom had a terrible smell.
excellent location near a small beach but also beautiful pool with plenty of sunloungers. Simple and comfortable rooms. Lovely buffet breakfast and good bar snacks and drinks available.Nearby to plenty of good tavernas and only 15mins to port, with a free pick up and drop off service offered by the hotel. Staff very welcoming. the air conditioning in the room was a but noisy.
it´s next to the beach, clean, staff was very friendly and helpful you could hear all the noise from other rooms and from the corridors, slamming the doors etc.
Close to the beach Was not a big fan of the cockroach that was in our room on arrival. Also it would have been nice to have been transfered to the hotel. It was the only hotel in our stay in Cyclades that did not provide this service for us?
locaton, clean very nice rooms with a balcony, very friendly staff
The room was good, clean and shiny Breakfast
Quiet, swimming pool, kindness of the staff The electric installation is don't look really secure.
An excellent family hotel and a wonderful base in the heart of Tinos City to explore the Cyclades. The star attraction is surely the wonderful staff that make you feel like their real guest. Use the restaurant for high quality, greatly-priced food and order mouth-watering homemade mousaka :)
Very friendly and accomodating. Pleasant garden and breakfast.Met us at the dock and took us back there.
The location was absolutely ideal being centrally located to the beach, port, shops, church and other places of interest. The family helpfulness of the owners however stood out the most.
beautiful hotel, in ideal position for visiting Tinos island. Very kind staff, sophisticated rooms and nice breakfast. No problems for parking.Ratio quality/price very good. No problems, just a little noisy because off town traffic.
The service from all the staff was outstanding None
exceptional service & friendly hospitality, spacious room with balcony, spotlessly clean, quiet courtyard setting yet still close to town & port only thing we could possibly fault was the size of the very small shower
Had so an amazing time, stayed here with a friend after a wedding. we wanted to chill and relax and thats what we got! Such an amaing staff the rooms were beyond clean and a steam room and hot tub...perfect for post beach relaxing None
The staff and the hospitality were excellent! From the moment that my friends and I arrived, we were treated like good family friends. a lovely woman named Ana took care of us the whole time. She picked us up at the port, offered us coffee and food when we arrived at the hotel, organized our beautiful rooms, and helped us plan our adventures in Tinos. We got to eat a big free breakfast every morning in a delightful little garden that was a part of the property. There were also computers and internet access. When I got home at night, I relaxed in the spa bubble bath with jets that was in my bathroom! Amazing. The best part was that cost not a lot of money for three of us to enjoy this luxury!
Very good everything was really great None
This was a beautiful hotel and the hospitality was the best! Our view of the water right outside of our window was magnificent. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and the staff was awesome. The location was great and was an easy walk to the city square, restaurants, and shops. The hotel was so luxurious. There was a rooftop bar that was a great spot for a night cap.
Excellent hotel, value and great location ! None !!
The hotel is a small, family run hotel on the waterfront in Ermoupolis. It is slightly confusing to find, and once you arrive the only name plate is in Greek. Once inside the owners are very friendly, and they are obviously keen to establish this location because it's not been operating long. The rooms are spacious and decorated well. There is a rooftop verandah with a bar for sundowners. They also give you complimentary snacks with your drinks. A nice touch. The breakfasts are quite limited - lots of bread and cakes, but cereals and cooked options were not offered. Parts of the finish let the hotel down if it wishes to be considered 'luxury'. The shower cubicle in our room was a joke, wobbling all over the place, and too many little finishing touches need rectifying. Having stayed 2 nights we were the only occupants, and so spoke to the owner about extending our stay, if he could reduce the price. He did offer to lower slightly, but not to what I considered was a fair rate, so we left. I can't believe a hotel when they let their only guests walk away, we would've happily paid a more realistic price.
Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and location. Very close to the port, city square, shops, restaurants and nightlife. A very pleasant experience overall!
the view from the room, owners politeness
all is bad all is bad
This recently opened hotel lies very close to the heart of the city and all the activities, but has a quiet location. It's absolute luxury and the owner is very helpful and charming person. Rooms are spacious, quiet and the beds the softest of Greece, I think :) The breakfast terrace and the sunbathing platform will be ready for the season. It will then be a complete 'oasis of luxury' ... Thanks for the free upgrade! None
perfect location, lovely room, lovely setting, easy reach to everything in town.
slept only becuase no services offered Hardly any staff available only for about 2 hours each morning to get payment for room - no breakfast or services offered because of lack of guests.
Staff attentive and responsive Beds were hard & lumpy. You easliy felt each spring.
room size, decent shower, air con noisy neighbours, ground floor and poor security, recption ;ady asked us when we were leaving as we walked in the door. Older gentleman very friendly
The location was good. It wasn`t noisy. There was refrigerator. There was water in the balcony because of the aircondition?
central location we didn't find anyone at the reception at arrival (evening of 31st dec), they left keys at reception desk. in fact we saw somebody only at the moment of paying! room was not particularly clean.
Central location and cheap.
nothing no service
the location The owner needs training on how to use a credit card machine - we ended up having to pay for our room in cash.
Great roofgarden, very nice view, excellent location, value for money Furniture, noisy bathroom ventilation, bathroom not very clean
very good view to the sea, very good food, very nice pool bar and music at nights no
The wind. Please see the detailed comment card we completed at the hotel on our day of departure.
Clean and spacious room with terrific views of the bay. 25m swimming pool. Very close to the beach. Nice choice if you're looking for some rest and relaxation by the pool/sea in Syros. Breakfast is nice with a good choice compared with other hotels in Syros. Dolphin Bay is the nicest place in Galissas for sure. However, Galissas itself can be very quiet so this isn't a good choice if you're looking for lively nights!
Lots of families, helpful staff, great pool, right by the beach, buffet breakfast, 5 minute walk to minimarkets, tavernas, and bus stop. Lovely spot with beautiful views.
Although the staff did not speak much English, they were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a great view. It was very hot - air conditioning or a fan would have been good. Also, there was a lot of noise from the port and road outside.
The owners/staff were especially accomodating; the hotel is within a block or so of the ferry; after we checked out we sat in the lobby and worked on a very good internet connection; our baggage after checkout was stowed at no extra cost; we had a balcony overlooking the sea! Continental breakfast was extra cost and I would not purchase this in future as the cafes are close.
Location is SUPER convenient to port, public bus, restaurants...pretty much everything. Staff is also AMAZING!! Each one of them are so warm and helpful, it's more like they're hosts vs. staff. Nothing really, would be an even better hotel if they had a pool.
No nonsense, simple clean hotel. Just as you may expect, but not too often get. It's not as much the hotel, but more the city of Ermoupolis...: it's not that special and industrial.
Very close to restaurants, shops and the ferry port. Right at the main road which can be quite noisy.
Its overlooking the main street which just so happens to be on the port... very noisy.
close to the port No internet in the rooms,no breakfast,no 24h reception. There is a petrol service station right next to it! Very medium quality hotel.
The family staff of Esperance were very warm and service minded. Though we had some language barriers, we walked away with a favorable experience. Uncomfortable beds (2 small twins instead of 1 queen). Woke up to no electricity or water in the morning. We were told this was an island wide problem, but we saw neighboring hotels with power on.
The hotel is very beautiful itself. It is a set of houses going up the mountain among a well cared for garden. The view is stunning especially if you get a room at the top. There's a nice little church right near the hotel and the beach. The staff is very friendly and the owners are willing to help you in every way in case you need it. Beaches are nice and clean. Life on location is a bit slow, but if you're tired of it you should get a car and explore the island.

A very good hotel, beautiful view (depends of the room they allocate to you), very clean and nice staff. Better to have a car to stay there.Very good value.
Excellent value for money. The owners were very welcoming and helpful - they phoned when we were on our way to ensure we knew the route from the port to the hotel. Our room was stylishly decorated and very comfortable with a great bathroom. Christos (the owner) gave us some good advice on restaurants and bars and was very helpful in terms of checking bus times etc on line. Breakfast served in the room was a selection of lovely fresh bread, nice jams and good coffee.
What a wonderful find this hotel was! The owners are a wonderful family who took time to explain all of the highlights of Tinos and where we should go. We had a small room with no balcony for our kids which was adequate and then we had a beautiful room with an incredible balcony with a view of the town and bay! The hotel is so charming and beautiful and the location is fantastic! We will definitely go back to Tinos and stay at the Voreades for much longer next time! We are not big breakfast eaters so we did not have breakfast there as 8eu per person is a fair amount of money. The beds are a bit hard...but all beds in Greece seem to be hard!
I really enjoyed this hotel, is very very well situated, 3 min walking from the town...and the kindness of this really exemplar greek family. The decoration of each part of the hotel has been done with love....really a good adress, I'm not used to give my opinions since 5 years with bboking hotel, but they really deserve it...Tinos is marvelous too, 4 or 5 nights...regards NO
The friendliness of the owners was amazing and made me feel at home
very charming place and very nice hosts that also were great in telling us the must sees at the island. good breakfast! all was perfect, only my friend was a bit unhappy that WIFI didn't work.
We liked the traditional building, location was very nice poor breakfast which you had to pay extra
Kosmas and Maria were wonderful hosts. Kosmas provided loads of invaluable information about the island. The location is perfect..very close to town yet it provides a peaceful and quiet retreat. If you hire a car, there is ample free street parking. The decor is tasteful and will definitely stay here again when we return to Tinos. Could not fault Voreades.
