8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and Carlo was a wonderful host. The place has pros and cons and it’s important to know them beforehand. I traveled alone so I managed very well in my space.
Cons: Some rooms are “little apartments” on the street, so entrance is kind of exposed (nothing happened and it’s not likely to). Then you have to go to another “apartment” for breakfast. (There was a fridge there that was available to everybody, that was positive.) I didn’t read or acknowledged that daily cleaning had an extra cost. I didn’t need it anyway. I think there was no air conditioning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a good experience in this family run B&B. The owner was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with a nice selection of homemade cakes. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a bit of a funny smell when we arrived but this went as soon as we opened the windows. The shower worked fine. Good location to explore the town.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, hospitable owner, clean rooms
Cons: Breakfast selection was relatively small, mostly cakes and coffee.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This b&b was extremely clean.
Cons: The room was small and very close to the eating area. The breakfast was nothing special, including the processed food wrapped in plastic.

Borgo San pietro - Agnone - Bedroom
9.0 Excellent (72 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Bed & breakfast in the historical center of Agnone, city of art which has been awarded an orange flag by the Italian Touring Club (certification of touristic inland environmental excellence). Guests are accommodated, in 3 rooms and 3 apartments (houses), in early 20th century finely restructured palaces. Local artisans skillfully renovated ancient stone walls and arches, reused original pavements (chianche), and restored the existing furniture in full respect of the rural nature of the establishments. Ulterior details, such as early century wrought iron bedsteads and precious hand made draperies, embellish further the establishments and render them particularly refined. All the houses, which may guest 2 or 4 people, have a kitchen, balconies and all possible comforts. They, moreover, all have private bathrooms and independent entrances.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were not in the main b & b, so I can't comment on rooms there. We were in another part around the corner. Lovely view, sweet room, nice bathroom, very quiet, great value. Very nice owner, arranged an English tour of the bell foundry for us. (Highly recommend this!)
Cons: Listing on said it had a/c. Our room didn't.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were stylish and very comfortable; and spacious enough for a few days. Heating was available to take out the chill at night. We moved rooms halfway through stay. First room had wifi extender and excellent wifi. Plenty of information provided in a well organised pack, about self guided excursions in the area. Arrival was simple and straightforward.
Cons: Second room, higher up and called Tina, had little to no wifi so we struggled to do forward planning, blogging and banking we needed to arrange. It was raining the final two days to the point where it was difficult to get out. It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea in our room or in a common area. But no facilities in our room and It was a wet walk to the nearest cafe (where we had to go for our free breakfast - coffee and cornetto). These are minor things and the unseasonably bad weather a huge impact. But I must stress that despite these things, we would still go back and stay.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: This is our second time staying here. We love the decor and homey feeling of the apartment. It is very clean and the host Valentina is a very nice lady. She has a lot of information about Agnone to share. Agnone is a beautiful town. We walked everywhere. We visited the Marinelli bell factory and the Caseificio Di Nucci cheese factory both wonderful tours. Agnone is a great place to visit only 2.5 hour drive from Rome. Every morning we a a ticket for a cafe and croissant at the local cafe.
Cons: We love everything about it.

Pros: location
Cons: No one was there to check us in. No help in English. Bed was really uncomfortable, very hard. Needed extra pillows but no one was around to help.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, genuine and fresh food. Restaurant and pizzeria of excellent quality, fresh food and authentic local cuisine with local ingredients. Convenient price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant in the basement is excellent. This is important as there are not that many in Agnone, certainly not nearby. There is a parking lot across the street and the parking is free.
Cons: It was all fine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The courtesy at the reception
6.3 Good
Cons: Obviously, the hotel is located in a remote part of Italy where there are very few hotels. It served our needs as a place to stay since we visited long lost family members nearby. The town where the hotel is located is very historic and nice. If there is one criticism concerning the hotel,it is that it is not a 4 Star hotel by Italian standards. However,we were grateful to have a place to stay in this remote part of Molise. Otherwise, everything about the town, it's people, and the hotel staff was fine.

Pros: Anna Maria is a wonderful host. The Inn Is very clean, historic and the meals were outstanding. The Inn is a converted winery. The area is quiet, rural but very beautiful!
Cons: If you stay here, you must have a vehicle. It is in the very outskirts of Agnone. There are two guest rooms. One is an ideal room. The second has a pitched ceiling making it difficult to stand if you are tall or more than two guests in the room. Still worth staying here. It is such a reprieve after visiting in the larger cities.

Pros: The rooms didn't have doors, and the heating wasn't working! It was the 30th of December, we were freezing and didn't have any privacy, we stayed only one night instead of two. I strongly advise not to book this place.
