Pros: After few days in Germany and Switzerland this stay was a real pleasure. I met the owners for the first time and I felt like they were my family. I wanted to take a quick breakfast and go visiting the surroundings but breakfast took me an hour and was a great opportunity to talk to the owners. Food was delicious but especially the atmosphere. Actually I don't know if they speak English because I tried to talk in Italian with them. The beautiful surrounding, authentic, non-touristic village and beautiful building make this place so great. I strongly recommend to all kind of guests.
Cons: La mia trapunta non era coperta/vestita, però non volevo chiederlo così tardi la sera quando sono tornato dalla cena.
Pros: Very warm welcome from the hosts from the very beginning. Great view from the balcony. Clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay here again and recommend to everyone.
Pros: All of it
Pros: The welcoming and warmth of the hosts can't be hailed enough... Tremendous hospitality, 5 star catering - from abundant and locally-sourced delightful breakfasts to an incredible family-like atmosphere with Alicia and Luigi around. They were careful and caring over every little detail - even made us an incredible (late at night) emergency soup when one of us fell ill! The place itself is positioned incredibly well - the views over the valley and mountains are breathtaking. A serpentine road takes you up the mountain to Mozzio which welcomes visitors with the local church bell bang. Narrow streets, amazing rustic houses and good local food add to the beautiful landscape and offered us comfort and peace of mind which we were looking for. Excellent place for exploring further Domodosolla and beautiful surroundings and communities in the mountains and along the coast of the Lake Maggiore. All in all - If you want a family-like atmosphere with the warmest people in the beautiful Italian Alps, this is the place.
Pros: The environment is excellent and the whole building including the rooms are very clean and tidy. The hosts make us feel they are our uncle and aunt. I give the breakfast full mark plus 10% bonus arising from theirs care. I will be back.
Pros: Beautifull vistas, great people and food
Cons: It was hard to find without gps navigation
Pros: Spacious apartment, wonderful hosts and excellent breakfast.
Pros: Nice location with beautiful view, close to breathtakingly beautiful hiking paths, super clean apartment, very very friendly and helpful staff (Grazie Luigi e Alicia❤️), and the last but not least: an awesome breakfast. It was the best b&b I have ever been to!
Pros: Alicia and Luigi are fantastic hosts. It is evident that they love their work and they have taken care of us in a magnificent way. The house is very charming and clean, the place quiet. The breakfast service has conquered our hearts. Thank you so much.

Pros: Amazing hospitality and the cute place. Absolute value for money. The highlight of the property was the host Ms. Carlotta and her family. This is a genuine B&B, lot of warmth and personal touch in every corner of the house. Breakfast is very interesting too.
Cons: Difficult to point out... Nothing in particular
Pros: This B&B exceeded our expectations in every way! Charlotta was a wonderful hostess...very friendly and accommodating. She cooked an amazing breakfast with many homemade items! The grounds and gardens are lovely and the sound of the river running on the side of the property made for a peaceful night sleep. A walk around the village was also great as well as the restaurants nearby. We hope to return and we will definitely be telling our friends!
Pros: Carlotta is the highlight of a magnificent stay in a beautiful home. Breakfast is 10/10. Everything is perfect.!!
Pros: Old world charm with modern facilities. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. Carlotta is an amazing hostess.
Cons: That we had only one night, but we hope to return next year.
Pros: Exquisite place with wonderful hosts! Carlotta and her parents made us feel like home. Room was very nice and clean with a breathtaking view overlooking the mountains. We loved gorgeous breakfasts, home made bread and cakes prepared by Carlotta. We strongly recommend staying in Villa Nante!
Pros: We loved EVERYTHING about the property! The owners/family took us in like family. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment, the welcoming people, the great food and the stupendous views of the surrounding mountains!!!! The apartment was modern in an 1800’s Villa with ancient trees, and exquisite grounds. The village of Varzo, population 2000, had churches and buildings over 700 years old as well as new, Alps style architecture. In other words, if we go back to Europe we will stop at Villa Nante!!!!
Cons: That we had to leave. :(
Pros: Everything! Such a beautiful house and Carllota is a wonderful hostess

Pros: The room was realy beautiful, the wooden house is brand new an smalls great. The owners are super friendly
Pros: Very friendly and attentive owners who are always ready to help. The room and the whole house is of excellent interior quality and high cleanliness. The breakfast bufett is prepared with great care and love for detail with regional and self-made products. If I find the time I will visit this place again. Grazie mille.
Pros: Lovely building and very nice owners. The rooms and bathroom were a good size and the breakfast was good and well presented. The town of Varzo is also really worth a visit. Go for a walk rather than drive to the centre.
Cons: Overpriced. . We awoke to find another couple in the chalet. Which was a bit disconcerting as they hadn't been there when we went to bed at midnight!
Pros: Very nice hosts. Both mother and daughter were very nice and helpful. Excellent location.
Pros: Location, in the middle of the mountains. The host was extremely friendly. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like!
Pros: The kindness of the owners
Pros: Perfetto! Elisa and her mother are just great and lovely and they'll make your stay as comfortable as they can. They helped us to find the best train connections, they brought us to the train station, they organized day trips, their restaurant recommendation (la Derna) was spot on and so on and on. The apartment is wonderful. The bedroom and the bathroom are very clean. The view from either balcony is stunning! By bus you can reach different locations (like Alpe Veglia) and make wonderful daytrips. Highly recommended!!

Pros: For the persons that love the nature and the mountains. Great view, a little difficult route to access, but absolutely great. Owners were very friendly and though we arrived really late, they provided us with an Italian dish as dinner. Breakfast in the morning was really good.
Pros: It's clear that the staff really take pride in their hotel. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Our room was beautiful with a high standard of fixtures and fittings including a huge rainfall shower and a view of the valley below from the balcony. We had complimentary flip flops and bathrobes to wear down to the spa and pool which again were of the highest standard. Dinner in the beautiful restaurant was fabulous. We were lucky enough to chat to the chef before dinner and he talked us through the menu, including helping us select items that were a real taste of the region. Every dish was delicious and we were glad we were talked into trying the dessert which was spectacular. I was sorry that we only stayed for 1 night and hope to go back soon.
Cons: no negatives

Pros: The proprietress was personal, welcoming and did much to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Pros: Location was good by the river but in the town . Information given was good and attention to detail
Pros: A superb location, very remote but super authentic. The house was lovely.
Pros: Everything was perfect!
Cons: It was NOT accessable for my wife. The host made other arrangements at a different location that were.
Pros: The location of the property was good with a nice view on the mountains. The owner of the place is a nice lady who has given us a warm welcome and served a great breakfast in the morning.
Pros: The location of the bed and breakfast was perfect. The outside terrace and garden is beautiful and the view of the valley is breathtaking!
Pros: The location is very good as it gave me a chance to stay in a medieval village. The village is very peaceful.
Cons: I do not like the bed sheet which is smelly.
Pros: Varzo is a very nice village in Val Divedro and the facility is placed in the upper part of the village, with a beautiful view on the valley. The breakfast is good and the B&B is well decorated, with a pretty vintage looking.
Cons: Considering the price is slightly higher than the average in the valley, I would have expected a bit more from the structure. We arrived late at the B&B, and the second bed had not been made. Poor mattresses and old furniture in the room overall. No bidet in the bathroom (not a big issue for me, but my wife would have complained).
Pros: The double bed was very comfortable. Kettle was available outside the room.
Cons: Host was very unfriendly when she was not allowed to make photocopy of my passport. Next I showed her check-in time was 17 on the site, she said 17:30. The next morning I asked if I could stay a day longer. That was possible bit she first had to clean an other room so I waited. After a few hour's she said every room is full.

Pros: Amazing location! Clean rooms, comfy new beds, shared bathroom was not a problem (2 shared between 3 rooms) good breakfast (dinner too), nice people! We came up with the chairlift to Alpe Ciamporino, then hiked along the ridge for 2 hours to Alpe Veglia, an absolutely stunning walk and not too much for us city dwellers. Alpe Veglia itself is very large and beautiful and origin of many other hikes (including really difficult ones), and it has waterfalls, rivers, peaks with snow around it, bizarre rock formations in it, lots of cows, several huddles of little stone houses, the works. We walked down the "road" to get back to San Domenico, and we are glad we did not walk up, it is extremely steep.
Cons: better instructions on how to find the place for the non-Italian speaker: the B&B is in a little side valley called Balma. If you come from Alpe Ciamporino, the B&B is in thefirst set of houses you see, if you walk on to the rickety wooden bridge in the woods you have gone too far. If you come on the road, keep right and after crossing the river on Alpe Veglia, take the turnoff to Alpe Ciamporino, the B&B is by the gigantic boulder with the Voldemort crag
Pros: Incredible place, beautifully situated in the mountains. Just amazing.
Pros: The place is absolutely spectacular! The clean and comfortable room was all new furnished and prepared with a lot of care. Aurora, the host, made us really feel welcome and helped wherever she could - and her homemade Kiwi jam is just delicious!
Cons: Nothing! Just a pity that we only could stay one night...
Located in Crodo, B&B Da Giorgia is within a 15-minute drive of Orridi di Uriezzo and Domodossola Market. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean. Quiet. Nice. Good price. Perfect setting. And owners even help with restaurant bookings and pumping up your tires if needed. Highly recommended
Cons: The entire village goes to sleep by 9 pm ... Also the bar
