The hostel is huge, and new-looking, with pleasant if not outstanding decor. There was a coffee maker in the room, and a nice free breakfast in the morning, and the staff member who oversaw the breakfast was very attentive.. It's also very well located, near many of the prime attractions in the old city.
The staff at the desk didn't seem very engaged when we needed help. Also, the place was crowded with young kids who made uproarious noise throughout the night. No one made any effort to quiet them, except me who went out and yelled at them a couple of times. The floors in the room were cold tile, when wasn't the ideal surface for putting your feet on in the morning. One other complaint I have is that the Wifi password was in Hebrew, which made it impossible to type into my phone or computer. Also, the place is only listed in Hebrew characters on Google, so searching for it's location was very difficult.
I think this is the best located hotel in Acre, with very reasonable price. We were excited, when we got to the room, what a deal we've done. Nevertheless sleep without EARPLUGS was not possible. I'm hesitating if I would recommend the hotel or not.
First meet on reception was not very friendly, but after first ice breaking it was ok. Then we were excited until the kids returned to the hotel. The hotel was full with about 150 prats running and shouting all over hotel - due to very nice architecture there are very little of rooms where you can escape from it. After our complaint in the reception there wasn't any improvement whatsoever. We slept with earplugs, but we got really annoyed by the noise.
The kitchen and dining room staff were friendly and very helpful. The location of the property cannot better. Overall, our stay was great.
The balcony door was locked and we wish we could have relaxed with coffee on the balcony.
Clean, and the staff were helpful, polite and efficient
Linen and towels could have been better
The Location is all it really can offer. It has a great public parking next door when traveling with a rental. Breakfast was good.
Rooms are ok, a little outdated. The hotel is actually a licensed youth hostel and accommodated large groups of youngsters. The staff did not really care about noise.
