Pros: Clean,Large dormitory
Cons: It just a place to live Host and staff were absent when i finished check in
Pros: If traveling by car and heading to Nagashima and Shimoshima Island and need a place to spend the night before, it's a perfect place. Clean, nice design, these box style rooms are funny, we were a family of 3 and alone in the place. It's very strange to find a place like this in this remote small town, but worth trying. The small shop/café on the ground floor is very nice too, and breakfast so good with awsome setting. thank you.
Pros: The breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious for one person and I felt a sense of privacy. The staff was very friendly and I was able to understand everything with my very basic understanding of Japanese. I inquired about their Taiyaki and they were nice enough to make me one for 200 JPY the next morning. They also asked me if fish was okay, and I told them yes. The next morning, they prepared a whole fish, which was cooked perfectly. If you're not into eating whole fish, you should tell them when you check-in. They make their own dried fish products so I would recommend checking out the second floor to see them at work on weekdays! The facilities were all wonderful, however, I did not use the shower since I visited an onsen earlier in the day. Everything was clean and tidy. I also loved the atmosphere this hostel had as well.
Cons: They warn you about the sound in advance and tell you to bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to it. I forgot mine and forgot to ask the front desk for some before they closed, and I am especially sensitive to sound so I wasn't able to get the best sleep with a loud snorer in the room next to mine. So I definitely recommend you bringing your own pair! You can buy some easily from the 100Yen stores across Japan. There is also a lot of light from the halls and the faucet area. I turned off my area's lights and hoped no one else minded but if you prefer total darkness like me, you might want to bring an eye mask. The location is just okay. Not much to do and it was just a pit stop to rest during my road trip. I would recommend a Chanpon restaurant within 4 minutes by foot from the hostel, by the grocery store! It's not on the limited restaurant map that's provided by the hostel, though.
Pros: Good value single room (hobbit hole) for a stopover.
Cons: A bit far from the station. Some traffic noise. Also no real sound isolation between rooms, although didn't matter to me a I was the only one there.
Pros: This is a very trendy hostel. It was impeccably clean. Although the bedroom is primarily just for sleeping, the living area is comfortable for surfing the internet and reading. The WIFI is fast.
Cons: Although all the rooms are "private," the walls are thin plywood and no ceilings separate the rooms, so you can hear everything in the other rooms. Also, the smell of the plywood is still very fresh - kind of strong.
Pros: great little hostel. It is part of a company that sells various nice little products, a lot made with local sardines. they also have a little factory and a shop inside the building. friendly owner and staff. breakfast is really good!
Cons: I wish there was more things in the area that would justify staying longer. It's more a place you rest on your way through.
Pros: The hostel is quite new and fresh. The staff were lovely. There is a small, comfortable common area. It was quirky and different than anywhere else we have stayed at in a good way (with "crawl through doors"). The shared bathrooms, etc were excellent. Don't miss the breakfast!
Cons: We were the only guests that night, and I can imagine that it might be a little tighter and noisier if it were busy.
Pros: Breakfast: not easy to say very nice but acceptable quality. Others are all good and satisfied.
Cons: Breakfast quality should becomes better!
Pros: Very cleanness.awsome breakfast.
Cons: Noisy ventilation fan at all night.

Pros: The staff were delightful and the hotel itself exactly as advertised. The breakfast was varied and tasty, the service was quick and efficient and the entire experience was very easy and enjoyable.
Cons: The parking lot beside the hotel is small and the overflows used are a little difficult to discern upon arrival - though they are close by. The walls are also a little thin and there seemed to be no stairs access to the upper floors.
Pros: The additional Japanese style breakfast buffet (additional 800 yen) was excellent. Much healthier than the typical American buffet fare..
Cons: Maybe there should be a lock out tab to keep non-adults from viewing adult featured titles.
Pros: Comfy room. Helpful staff. Great location next to train station
Cons: Was fine
Pros: Nice hotel, very near/next to the train station. Breakfast was included.
Cons: Can't find any convenience stores nearby, but the hotel did try to provide all basic necessities to their guests.
Pros: Staff were welcoming and the staff member who helped me check in could speak a little English, which helped. The hotel is right opposite the bullet train station and is about a 20-minute drive to the Crane Observation Center. The room had basic amenities, more were available in front of the concierge desk for guests to take themselves. There were also humidifiers, air purifiers, vanity mirrors, and even reading material on each level in front of the elevator.
Pros: Very comfortable room, much larger than I expected. God location

Pros: Hot spring was perfect.
Cons: Toilet washlet was not working well And flushing didn't stop.
Pros: Friendliness of the staff and their help in assisting us with our lack of the Japanese language. The quality of the food and the service in the restaurant. We booked this hotel for it's location to visit the Arisaki Crane Sanctuary, which is only a 20 minute drive away.
Cons: The room was a good size but perhaps a little dated. Would still recommend this hotel as a place to stay.
