7.9 Good
Pros: Room was large, nicely decorated, good sleeping comfort for 4 people (of which 1 child). Open bathroom in room was nice. Cleanliness of bathroom and bed seemed ok. Breakfast was very good and complete. If anything was missing, the lady of the house was happy to answer to our needs.
Cons: Bathroom: tap of lavabo uncomfortable (to use, and also only hot water came out, was weird), very noisy toilet flushing, light not strong enough. Room: seemed rather clean, but dust and spiders in various corners didn't hide in time ... pity.
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good and the night calme. Good to make a short stop there with the family on our way to final destination.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy beds and excellent bedrooms
Cons: Nothing

5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was simple but good.
Cons: More varieties (croissants, etc.)
Overview Reviews
Just 5.6 miles (9 km) from Nancy city center, take advantage of the most beautiful décor of Place Stanislas, with a sound and light show in the summer and an amazing snow display in the winter. Stay in our TRIO rooms and enjoy the all-you-can-eat breakfas t buffet and free WIFI. Why pay more when you only need the essentials?
5.0 Okay
Pros: Would be helpful if staff spoke a bit of English.
Cons: Doors slamming and waking others up. Water taps in room not working properly.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It’s a cheap sleeping break while driving long distance.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very fair price
Cons: No stairs for upper bed, no blankets as well
6.3 Good
Pros: Stayed in these hotels before. Very basic but normally clean. Small rooms but its a bed at the end of the day. This is not a hotel for comfort. Its basically a truck stop night gaff. Sharing showers and toilets could have been cleaner. You definitely get what you pay for with these accommodations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went for food at the restraunt opostie which was cheap and chearful. over all did the job as a pit stop but would not spend more than one night here.
Cons: Cleanliness of the shower and toilets and overall hotel. Stayed in cleaner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's really good place
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location suited us as it was just an overnight stay driving back from skiing. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The room looks nothing like the photo. Much older and yellow looking rather than the fresh white depicted in the photo. I also did not realise that the room was not ensuite. The toilets and shower room are down the hall and separate. No towels or toiletries were provided. This is very basic. We managed but wouldn't do it again. For a few extra euros you can get a room with an ensuite toilet at least.
7.5 Good
Pros: The price, size of the bedroom and for 3 persons.
Cons: Near the motorway : a bit noisy...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and safe parking, very roomy rooms with a great shower.
6.3 Good
Pros: This hotel is perfect if you only need a cheap and clean place to sleep. It's located in a "Centre Commercial" so you'll find a supermarket, gas station and retail stores nearby but absolutely not a place for a cozy evening stroll. Our room on the ground floor was very small; hardly any place to place luggage. The bathroom was OK and well equipped.
Cons: We didn't like the grasshopper's welcome in our bed!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome from English speaking staff, comfortable bed, big shower with hot water. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Quiet area with plenty of safe parking. Within walking distance of several restaurants, we recommend that you go past the buffalo grill to the Courtepaille for excellent wood grilled food.
Cons: The room was very tight to move around in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cheap & cheerful bed only stop over on long trip
Cons: Concerned that the car park security gate no longer works & even more worrying that the front door lock was not working!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Near the highway and exactly what we needed! A hot shower and a bed to sleep in.
Cons: -
7.9 Good
Pros: Very easy to reach, small rooms, but sufficient in size for a short stay. Not very pet friendly though, so if you have a big dog or active cat, it might not be the best choice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect when you need to rest after and before journey

6.3 Good
Pros: The room was clean. Easy access to the bus into Nancy but long bus ride. Conveniently located to restaurants and fast food chains in neighbouring area
Cons: The property appears to need some maintenance, lawns need cut, the spouting leaked. Noise from other rooms and outside
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Bed and bed linens were comfortable and breakfast was fine. Breakfast staff helper was lovely.
Cons: NO WIFI IN THE ROOM DURING THE ENTIRE STAY! No hairdryer in room. (Did get one when requested.) The attitude of manager and some desk staff regarding the wifi was unacceptable. We’ve stayed at about a dozen other hotels in France this holiday arranged through booking.com and this was not up to the standard of any of them. And this was at a higher price point than most of our other choices! Very disappointed with this Campanile location- the one in Dijon was so great! BTW- we had a stronger wifi signal from the neighbouring hotel but naturally couldn’t sign on. When we first arrived, I thought I smelled cigarette smoke. Dismissed by staff. There was a lot of mould in the ceiling of the bathroom. Only two very tired bath towels were provided. A hand towel would have been appreciated.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect for collecting my car from Hertz the next morning, not far from train station, some nice little restaurants nearby. So perfect for my needs. Breakfast also had everything I needed, including a toaster.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice comfort rooms a nice place to stop from travel
Cons: They told me I can check in after 23.00 if I call the number on door from reception, they answer after 45 minutes bcs booking.com call them ...... They talk no English ...... So never go after 23.00 ,waste of time

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked this at about 7pm on the night we were staying and the owner both answered the phone when we called to ask exactly where he was (about 50 yards behind us the other side of the village square as it turned out) and was very cheerful and accommodating even though someone ele had also turned up at the same tiem. We asked for and got an earlry breakfast which was great. The bread was wonderfully fresh, the croissants gorgeous and a range of home made jams. The owner speaks little English but did his best. He speaks german as well as French. My room had a separate private bathroom with a bath which after a longish trip was welcome. Very friendly.
Cons: It was all good

7.5 Good
Cons: Was okay, room was confortable and staff was nice and friendly especially the cleaning ladies
8.3 Excellent
Pros: In spite of the mix up with reception and our booking, the young lady who was there at 5pm, was very nice and friendly, made sure we had a ground floor room and that our bicycles were secure. She was very friendly and we appreciated that. The racing car decor and theme was interesting and colourful.
Cons: It was a very, very hot day and the room had no ventilation. I would suggest the hotel invests in some portable fans and have them available, (ask for a security deposit if necessary) There was an initial issue with our booking, we could not check in on the unmanned machine out front even though we had a reservation number from booking.com. We did not like the lack of reception as we arrived when no one was there, and we had a long wait on a hot day.

7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely breakfast and interesting decor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and flexible staff. Very private and surrounded by nature. Amazing food and a large breakfast. We definitely recommend this place!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location in a beautiful environment (in green park landscape). Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The bed was a bit low and could have been more comfortable. But still acceptable though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The setting is a very large, peaceful park and forest, up a long hill. The host speaks good English and is really into music: great music in restaurant and numerous musical artifacts. There are other nice objets d'art. Each room has a theme: mine was the Paris room. It included a sauna!
Cons: I didn't like cycling up the hill with loaded panniers after a long day. And it is a big trip to any dinner alternative to the attached restaurant (which WAS very good).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We ate like kings, slept like dormice and felt so free and welcome it was as if we owned the place. This was due to; - The outside space, tranquillity, fresh air. The closeness to the town and it's sites and activities. The family friendliness of the staff. Great walks just a walk away from the hotel with lovely views. Food was delicious and home cooked.
Cons: It wasn't perfectly pristine but then that was a part of its charm. The door to the garden didn't lock from the outside. Some of the decor had a little sense of the nouveaux-riche but that's just a question of taste.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very tranquil location in the wooded hills overlooking Nancy. Fortunately the restaurant was open because it is a long way from other restaurants and bars. The food was excellent. We did not stay for the cabaret or dancing because we were very tired after a long journey but it looked as though the large groups of locals were set to enjoy it to the full! Breakfast was good. Host and all staff very pleasant and efficient.
Cons: It is totally unsuitable for anyone with reduced mobility and the listing should make this clear. Rooms are on second floor of the building with staircases tricky to negotiate. The shower unit in the Louisianne room needs replacing as does the tiling and grouting. Wifi completely useless. Neither Android or Apple devices would connect despite owner doing his best to fix it.

Pros: Lovely people.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautuful garden. Food was homecooked and delicious and included fruit and vegetables from the garden. Was this organic? If so, owner should promote this.
Cons: Lovely place but family room overpriced. Food was simple and delicious although rather expensive, especially for kids (€15 each!) Would have expected nicer toiletries rather than half used showergel. Owner could think about using handmade soap, shower gel etc. Would have been nice to have fresh milk too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The family room was great! Comfortable with good beds and a great rainshower. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Our breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, homemade jam and delicious cherries.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time at La Petit Flo. The friendly owners gave us a warm welcome and have done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Always time for a nice chat. Christophe and Claire have given us a lot of information about the area. Metz is a half-hour drive from Flocourt, Nancy 50 minutes and Strasbourg an hour and a half. Because Flocourt is in the countryside, there are no restaurants nearby. The host will prepare a delicious dinner for you at a good price on request. Breakfast is served in the shared kitchen. Many home-made products such as brioche, jam and yogurt. The room is not large, but clean and fully equipped. A wonderful shower and lots of storage space for your belongings. You can also use the common room with kitchen. Our room, Baroque, has a directly access to a nice private terras. We like to come back to stay in the Pod : ) Yvonne and Dirk

Pros: Such a beautiful place! We stayed in the pod and it was so cute. Although you’re about 30 minutes from a city, it’s so peaceful and feels as in you’re in the middle of nowhere! The pod was spotless, had a very comfortable bed and powerful shower. All the amenities you need and the host was so lovely and welcoming. Would love to visit again. Also, breakfast was great too.
Cons: That we had only one night here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked how our host did his absolute best to make us feel welcome. After a long hot day on our motorcycles, he made sure we could relax in the garden enjoying a cool drink. Pros: This B&B has three lovely rooms, nicely decorated and with brandnew amenities. Julie is a lovely and caring host with much attention to detail. The breakfast is of high quality including home-made jams, eggs from the own chickens, freshly squeezed orange juice as well as ham and cheese. Parking on the premises is also available. The B&B is well located to explore Nancy, Metz, Lunéville, Sarreguemines etc.
Cons: The beds in the twin room are unfortunately very narrow. Julie kindly recommended a couple of restaurants to us, which were very nice, but one needs to consider that they are 14 kms away. Our understanding was that there are no restaurants closer to the B&B.

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Most of all we loved the restaurant. The food was outstanding in a modern and spacious dining room and being summer time the pre dinner drinks were served in the garden which also provides the restaurant with fresh produce. Breakfast was simple but with lots of home made jams etc which made it very enjoyable without being complicated. Parking is directly opposite the hotel.
Cons: The guest room was very basic and quite small. However it was perfectly clean with a comfortable bed. If the rooms were of the same standard as the restaurant, this hotel would be a winner.

Pros: The host is very welcoming, and looked after us very well. She let me lock my bicycles in her garage rather than leave them outside, and served an excellent breakfast with good strong coffee. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was our return stay on our journey to and from Austria from the UK. The property is located in a nice little village square a few miles south of Metz and within easy distance from the motorway. The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean. Nice hot shower. My wife and I both had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and adequate. Parking was available outside the front or at the rear of the property. Wifi worked well. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Shared kitchen/dinning facilities were a sight problem for us as we have a 45 kilo German mountain dog and in the joining room was a mother with 2 young children. One of the children was very frightened of dogs. As experienced, responsible dog owners for over 40 years we did not feel comfortable with that situation even though our dog is well trained and kept under control.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This B&B is a little pearl: close to the motorway but in a quiet town, Very friendly and helpfull host. Excellent & plentiful breakfast, good size bed (best we ever had in France). Nearby is a small, sympathetic restaurant for dinner. Everything you could ever ask for an enjoyable overnight stop!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good communication with host, fast check in.
Cons: I don't know if it's this area in France, but all the B&B and chambre d'hotes in the Moselle Area have the check in time between 17:00 and 18:00 which is obnoxious. I've never find a country in all the world with those late check in times. But the check out is between 10 and 11. The host was nice and quite surprised with our perfect arrival time. Guess why ... The room was spacious , but not so nicely furnished. The heating was not on, the host said that to us and added : "But it's still hot outside". We had problems with the lock of the room and pass 15 minute trying to take the keys out of the door lock. I realized after that the door lock was sliding in and out of the door. Probably better to fix that. Breakfast is ok but nothing special. In the nearby there are two restaurants, One was closed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: In terms of location (just off the autoroute), hospitality of the hosts, bed comfort, and quality of the wi-fi, Le Coup de Coeur is truly exceptional. In terms of the quality, selection and presentation of the continental breakfast, it was absolutely fabulous, superb! A quite simple establishment, staying in the home of the hosts, there was nothing that they wouldn't do, very courteous, attentive and welcomimg.
Cons: Within the limits of the establishment being a private home, there was nothing not to like.
