The room was great and overall quite clean. Staff was great. There was one or two people at the desks who could have been a little bit better. The guys who were at the from desk were excellent
There was an old pizza and the fridge- that was the only deal breaker aside from the price
Had to travel to Albany for business. The hotel was located a reasonable distance (w/in 10 minutes) of everywhere I needed to go. Ample free parking, solid WiFi. They were mid-renovation, but they did a fine job minimizing the impact on customers. Staff especially were a big part of that effort, and were all courteous and responsive. All-in-all, would gladly stay again.
The one redeeming quality was the kindness of the staff. Professional, and doing a good job of customer service at the front desk despite their meh hotel. I assume it's someone else that is responsible for the poor management of the upkeep.
This seems like a very old building. They are renovating which is fine, but they put up yellow caution tape everywhere in a half ass way that makes it look like a crime scene. Not very clean. Shower mat which was glued in place was dirty. There were dead bugs, luckily didn't see any live ones, but there was a general lack of effort throughout the hotel to clean stuff. I thought the price was high already, but the staff told me that I actually got a really good rate. In the end, a little over $100 for a standard room. What a joke. Never going back there.
Carpet was old. Beds were uncomfortable. Very disappointed- didn't look like the photos.
The staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. When the room next to us had an adjoining door and the people in it were loud and drunk they relocated us immediately so we could sleep better and were incredibly kind about it.
The facilities were old, out dated, and a run down.
Location is excellent. Price is very reasonable. Staff exceptionally friendly and responsive to needs and questions.
We stayed here one year ago and the place always seems to be under construction. Pool closed both times. Breakfast choices a bit limited.
Breakfast buffet was very good. Personnel throughout the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and fresh smelling. I did not contract bedbugs. Temperature in room was well regulated day and night despite a record-breaking cold snap.
During a period of heavy snowfall staff was unable to clear the parking areas timely
Staff was friendly, room was clean and it was close to everything we needed.
The early breakfast was a plus. Large fridge was nice.
The selection on the Tv was very limited
Personel at desk was excellant
Had a problem with your (book it .com) I had a trying time cancelling my last dat do to a family issue. We had a conversation on Thursday August 20 more then 48 hrs in advance. It took me more then an hour on saturday morning to get this adrress. I Book it agent called me and said I will be credited on my card but it was the helpfulness of the Best Western Staff that was a great assistance in getting it resolved. I will be checking my statement for the room.credit
Central location, friendly staff, convenient services.
Back door wasn't locked, at l east during day. Hallway car is worn.
Convenient on our road trip.
Staff was unprofessional. Did not give a wake up call. Room not so clean.
Quick check in, great staff. Shower was actually really nice too kept water pressure up and it was overall pretty nice. Spacious room, if you had work to do had a desk, also has a mini fridge that was fairly large and a microwave. Lastly the TV was also a flat panel TV which is nice and even some HD channels are in there too.
The bed was definitely broken in one spot, you caved in if you sat there, also the AC was not in best shape, I set it to 65 and it got hot in the room, I set it to the max and it was would feel like a low setting barely on temperature wise. It still kept the room cooler than outside so it worked.
Location close to where we needed to be. Comfortable room.
Bathroom faucet was loose. Hair dryer outlet was ripped out of wall. Hot breakfast buffet was good but had to wait forever for the staff to refill.
I had hot water in the morning this time unlike the last two times! :)
I found out they were closed down a year ago for Legionnaire's disease
