lovely large rooms and comfortable furniture, excellent food, staff very friendly and helpful would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room, also the hairdryer didn't work
Well located in the centre of Almelo town The adjoining Theatre provided interesting options for evening entertainment. Wide range of TV and films available including multiple English channels 7 programmes. WiFi throughout the hotel with 2 hours per night free. Room service limited menu but excellent quality. 3 excellent restaurants to choose from plus all the town centre restaurants within walking distance. Withing walking distance (500m) of the rail station.
The bathroom was too small for a suite.
The hotel has unusual styling and is visually very pleasing. It is close to the centre of Almelo No complimentary tea / coffee in rooms
The Food On arrivle my email booking had not been processed, not a good start
Good central location. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast good value for money
Food was good. Convenient location. Bathroom could have had better toiletries / moisturiser, etc. Could not see any temperature controls in the room. Could not open the door to the balcony.
The convenience of staying where I saw the show.
The food in the restaurant is very good The room was cold.
The hotel staff are always very helpful and will assist in any request. Also the Breakfasts are very good - a great way to start the day. I was happy with my stay at the Theaterhotel.
clean room gloomy atmosphere
Rural setting...very peaceful
Internet works. I like that it's a bit isolated, you can hear the chickens in the morning. The staff try their best to be helpful and friendly. There are dead flies and cobwebs on the windows. The first floor smells vaguely of sewage.
plenty of parking spaces
We liked the quietness (i.e. countryside), and the hospitality of the hotel staff. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately we did not have time to try the dinner. We certainly like to return to the same hotel whenever we have to be in Twente.
Antiques all over the hotel, very well kept, hotel staffs are the best
Exceptional kindness of the staff and the owner, delightful atmosphere and kitchen. Very good knowledge of foreign languages. Definitely worth visiting.
Friendly staff; offered me a glass of wine when late check in. Was only guest in hotel, nevertheless I felt not alone. Amazing address! At night there's no receptionist. I didn't bother, but still.
Very friendly staff, very beautiful hotel... I also recommend the restaurant.
staff bad indication on the street
personal touch from owners, nicely decorated environment, feel at home there are still some pending things such as lamp above mirror of our basin in the room, drinks machine, etc, these small things should be solved soon as we paid for the whole experience and not one without the things mentioned above
Everything was splendid. Beautiful rooms. The staff was very helpful and there is a friendly atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. I can definately recommend this hotel to others.
very climate hotel; design is an enourmous plus; very helpful personel; free internet; good location there could be a bit more choice for the breakfast;
Very nice location and beautiful rooms, very friendly staff. The bathroom was semi-open, sometimes it is nice to close the door of the toilet.
It was a pleasure to stay there. Hope to return
Nice atmosphere. Comfy bed. Close to station. Quiet. Free Wifi. Nothing really, although bathroom can use a brighter light and somewhere to put your toiletries in the shower.
It was peaceful. The staff gave excellent service in a quiet and discrete manner. The room was comfortable with wonderfull beds, and it is the first place ever where we've had really, really good pillows! The bathroom was clean, well ventilated and beautifully tiled. Nice garden and carpark. On our side, some road traffic, but not fast or noisy, so we slept well.
The friendliness of the staff and hiring a bike. The room was also excellent and very good value. Lovely surroundings
Nice surroundings- meadows- small farms- neat countrystyle hotel with a perfect breakfastbuffet- As often in holland- you have to climb stoop steps to the upper floor-NO elevator- that might be a problem for elder guests
The room was large and extremely comfortable. The hotel was surrounded by very pleasant countryside. The breakfast was not extensive and the staff could sometimes be surly.
Food was very good - Hotel was very attractive WiFi options did not match what was stated in the adverts.
The flexibility about nightkey to the hotel, so we could get in late at night.
the staff at reception and in the restaurant are very nice there was a bad smell in the carpet of my second room, the door of my first room didn't close or lock well
The staff were genuinely warm, friendly & helpful - sometimes going out of their way to assist. The room & facilities were clean and fully operational. The food was value for money, tasty & down to Earth (not for the pretentious). It was further from the city center of Enschede than I thought (which is where I needed/wanted to be each day) but if u have a car its no big deal because its a nice drive there.
Htel Frans Op Den Bult was a great 3 day stay for us in Holland. We had a double room which was clean and nice. We ate at the restaurant while there and it is also excellent.
We are for the second time in this hotel. Very comfortable if you travel by car
very friendly staff decor still from 80ies, reminded us of a trucker hotel, very clean though
Staff were extremely helpful. Kitchen staff were a bit slow, maybe used to the trucker crowd since this is a truckstop motel. Also staff gave room key to new people before I was out of my room, which caused them to walk in on me changing.
Good and friendly personal
Nice clean hotel. No claims:)) No
