Pros: Excellent, historical place.
Pros: What an amazing hotel. Miles from anywhere and a unique location. Great for star watching and chilling out. Brilliant food selection and quality in the restaurant. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing, all ok
Pros: The whole experience was very different and I'm sure will remain in our memories for ever. The sort of hotel everyone should try once.
Cons: We thought the cost of the food and drink were a bit on the high side but then it's mainly a captive clientele base although we did find a restaurant 15 minutes away where a bottle of nice Rioca and 2x three course dinners was €28 and the quality of the food was worth at least twice that.
Pros: Lovely quiet historical setting . Great breakfast and dinner.
Cons: No hot water for at least 10 minutes.
Pros: breakfast was very good . rooms were clean and very nice .Wifi and airco did not work properly.
Cons: wifi and airco
Pros: the pictures do make justice to the place...this place is amazing and we will definitely come back
Pros: This was our second visit, and would certainly stay again if circumstances permit. The historical atmosphere is enchanting and the modernisation of the facilities are exceptional. At night time, the whole area is dark and silent, you could hear a pin drop. The cuisine is very good and the staff are exceptionally enthusiastic and helpful, nothing being too much trouble.
Cons: I would have given a ten, but for one item. Each room is planned en suite, but rather strangely there are no doors on the shower area or the toilet. The en suite is wide open to all occupants in the room. Personally, I would rather not subject my dear wife ( to whom I have been married for forty six years ), to the spectacle of me sitting astride the throne. We solved the problem by each of us making a strategic withdrawal to the garden outside at the appropriate time.
Cons: Checked in at 2pm. Cafe bar etc not open till 8. Had to travel into village to buy snacks and drinks. Not what I had in mind
Pros: The location was perfect , the staff was perfect, the room was perfect and the food ( we had dinner and breakfast) was marvellous.
With a stay at Posada de Los Aceiteros in Ahigal de los Aceiteros, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Arribes del Duero Natural Park and Torre del Homenaje.
Pros: Really charming posada in the amazing region of Arribes del Duero. Manuel was an excellent host and a professional guide. Really beautiful room and nice breakfast. Everything perfect, would strongly recommend.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Friendly staff especially with the dog and no extra charges Good breakfast and evening meal Excellent value for money
Cons: A little isolated.
Pros: everything was perfect.
Pros: An amazing host who cooked an incredible dinner and breakfast.
Pros: all was perfect. dinner surprisingly good!
Pros: The room, hospitality of the host, and the food were fantastic. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very delicious, healthy, and freshly prepared. The room was large and tastefully decorated. The location is a great place for running and walking. We arrived past 11pm and Manuel, the host, prepared us a very nice and delicious dinner. We wish we could stay longer. Highly recommended.

Featured amenities include a business center, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Wonderful owner/staff. Very helpful and exuberant. Excellent meal. Lovely village with interesting castle
With a stay at El Condado Casa Rural in Fuentes de Onoro, you'll be 14.4 mi (23.2 km) from Arribes del Duero Natural Park and 17.4 mi (28 km) from Ciudad Rodrigo Walls. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The owner and ladies were very friendly even though we arrived far too early and they were not ready for us. Also, we can't speak Portugese and only the owner speaks English, but we manage to communicate with each other. We parked the car and went for a walk and came back at a more reasonable time. We never heard the railway at all but our room was overlooking the inner courtyard where we sat in the evening. The garden was lovely, even with the digger in the corner. We had access to the kitchen if we wanted to make a meal.
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: A friendly welcome even late into night
Pros: This place makes for a great "economical" place to stay near the Portuguese border. Rooms are basic but clean, the shared common area and kitchen are comfortable, well equipped, and clean as well. Grocery shops etc. in the nearby village. Although the place is right next to the railroad tracks, these didn't bother us at all. There were only a few trains passing through. We were welcomed by the owner and her enthusiastic dog on short notice and had a pleasant stay!
Cons: The road to the property was not maintained very well and largely unpaved, but very well signposted. Although an oven was mentioned among the amenities, it wasn't actually there. Breakfast felt a bit basic for the price, but then again - Spain isn't really known for its breakfasts.
Pros: That I could stay with my cats.
Cons: The price of the breakfast was expensive and the cost of the room considering the remote location and amenities not at all proportional.
Pros: It has been great! the owner was so helpful and very welcoming!
Pros: Everything, great pool, villa, rooms, catered for all our needs. Family loved it. Owner offered us free wine. Great space, beautiful walks and surroundings
Pros: Very quiet location with friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were very good.
Cons: Breakfast was not served until after 8:00AM and Dinner at 9:00PM. WiFi only worked near the reception area which was a long way from the room.
Pros: We arrived at 2am and the owner welcomed us and showed us our room. She also moved us to a quieter room as there was some construction work happening the following morning (new paving at the entrance of the property).
