Pros: Quirky design, attention to detail, exceptionally clean. Fantastic buffet breakfast with a big choice of Rude Health cereals to choose from!
Cons: That we only ever stay here for one night as we pass through so we don’t get to appreciate the rooftop pool!!!
Pros: The staff were really friendly especially Juan Carlos. The continental breakfast was of a good standard. Its only a couple of minutes drive from the motorway. The hotel is motor themed and a lot of thought has gone into the decoration.

Pros: Location ideal for us. Secure parking really good.
Pros: price is unbeatable and parking is safe behind the house
Cons: Location is meh
Pros: It was easy to find the property and parking on site. The property is on a main road into Salamanca. Our check-in process was simple and we found our apartment to be clean and well laid out. There are cafes, small restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Bus stop right outside the building. Beds were comfy and windows have screens. Ending the day on our private patio was wonderful. Lucky for us we were able to extend the stay short notice. Salamanca is worth at least a 3 day visit if not more!
Cons: The kitchen could use a few more dishes and cutlery.
Pros: Price/quality Clean friendly staff dog friendly
Cons: The sound of cars on a streetside app
Pros: The hotel is very grand, with marble floors and staircases, very light and airy. The apartment we were given was very spacious, and extremely comfortable. There was even a private balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. We really liked that the hotel was on the outskirts of the city, but there were lots of supermarkets etc very close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us very welcome with our pet dog.
Cons: The oven in the kitchen does work but it took an hour to cook frozen chips on the highest temperature.

Pros: Excellent! No problems! Bedroom slippers! Up to date. Clean. Superb shower room! Brilliant air conditioning. WiFi.
Cons: For an overnight stay nothing was wrong will definitely say again!
Pros: Extremely clean, newly refurbished, breakfast was good.
Cons: Using the address shown on the website in the gps takes you to the centre of the village Villares but the hotel is actually on the other side of the highway and right next to another highway exit which is much closer. Somehow the coordinates don’t match. Staff was a bit ‘dry’. Didn’t smile or interact much.
Pros: The breakfast was okay, selection was a little limited. Coffee was good and the freshly squeezed oranges really hit the spot. The location was convenient for the motorway and the room was very quiet. The quality of the bathroom was surprisingly good. Excellent value for money, we will defiantly be staying here again.
Cons: The restaurant could do with a menu in English, it took us some while translating the various dishes using Google translator, although the waitress was very helpful she didn't speak English. However the prawns in garlic butter were superb.
Pros: Good Breakfast, clean room, modern bathroom.
Cons: The dinner wasn't great.
Pros: Room, especially the bathroom, convenience, easy access to Salamanca by car
Cons: Breakfast rather limited, but cheap.
Pros: Very clean and everything looks just repaired. I parked my car just front of the hotel and there was security cameras as well. It's walkable distance to beautiful Salamanca. I came very late and left quickly to continue my roadtrip, so I can't say so much anything else but room and location.
Pros: Clean, perfect for a pit stop or visit a couple days Salamanca. Air conditioning efficient!
Pros: Simple choice of packaged foods for breakfast but very plentiful. Help yourself to as much as you like. Despite being next to busy road the sound-proofed windows were excellent. Free parking. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms and showers. Easy to take bus into Salamanca. Very effective air conditioning - great as we stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year.
Cons: Restaurant and cafeteria limited and closed one of the nights that we stayed. Prior notice of closure would have been appreciated as the only other venue nearby was an excellent Indian restaurant. (not good if you don't like Indian food.) Families with young children may find the proximity of he busy road a worry.

Located in Aldealengua, Hotel Rural La Plazuela is within a 15-minute drive of Plaza Mayor and New Cathedral of Salamanca.
Pros: The hotel staff were personable and friendly, the hotel is run by the same family who run the local bar. So breakfast, which is a buffet of bread and cakes , with cheese, ham , jam, honey and fruit is€ 3.50 per person and lunches, are served in the hotel, but for an evening meal then customers need to go round the corner to the bar. The wifi worked well, and customers needed to leave their room by 11am if they wanted them made up. We felt that the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere and suited our needs. There was ample on street parking and only a 15 minute drive into Salamanca. There is very limited public transport,

Cons: For a 4-star hotel, it needs some improvements, namely on maintenance. The breakfast could be a bit better.
Cons: The visibility from the road is not good, and it took many miles, and many minutes to find the hotel. Hotel was good, but restaurant staff were miserable.
Pros: Dog friendly night stop over stay. Very specious room with big shower and super comfy beds. Big car park on site.

Pros: Nice original, beautifull house, atypique, bigger than we expected. Very nice living room.

Pros: Bus into Santiago nearby. Quiet room.
Pros: Located in the town centre and could park opposite so really convenient for that. Plenty of places to eat nearby but all tended to be 'bar' type. No worries we managed.
Cons: Thought we were going to be at another location 1 km away nearer the river (according to the booking process) but in the event, the town centre location suited us fine. The small print check-in details mentioned the need to call in to the location we stayed in. After a long journey we were grateful over the fact that we could stay where we collected the room key and park so close to the entrance.
Pros: Cleanliness, TV, close to restaurants, patio is handy for the dogs
Cons: No Coffee/tea making facility or bathroom essentials.
Pros: Confortable, clean, easy access
Cons: No breakfast included
Cons: Had to make 3 phone calls to get someone to let me in. There were no towels. Paid up front for breakfast and found that there was no breakfast provided. Felt very let down & disappointed after driving for 8hrs to get there.
Pros: We were supposed to pick up keys from the main hostal then go to another place but when we arrived, the owner said we could stay there instead. This saved us from more travel. The room was a tight squeeze but perfectly adequate and great value for money. Double bed, wardrobe, TV, large bathroom with shower and nice hot, powerful water. Plenty of places to eat and drink within minutes walking, especially XireX around the corner.
Pros: Value for money in terms of facilities. Quite comfortable and with very nice staff
Cons: 4km away from Salamanca which was known in advance but kind of makes it difficult
Cons: It was too simple and beds were uncomfortable
Cons: Reception was at one address and the rooms at another .
