Pros: I don't normally leave comments for a good review, I normally expect good service and am satisfied when I get it. However this hotel simply went far beyond what I expected, especially the restaurant. The food was simply out of this world.
Pros: Staff were nice. The villa itself was beautiful.
Pros: We stayed in the villa itself, staff was super helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful and had everything in it, even flipflops, a bathrobe, bottle of water everyday, tea, coffee, chocolate upon arrival. Would recommend to anyone and will definately come back some time!
Cons: Hard to come up with something...
Pros: environment is great Rooms are spacey and clean Kitchen is very good on the 1star michelin restaurant and the standard options from the hotel Wine menu is complete Part of the staff vas very profesional and kind
Cons: part of the staff was not good enough
Pros: The charming and the staff.
Pros: They looked after us superbly. Breakfast in the room as we were leaving early, fantastic dinner and couldn't have bettered anything. We will definitely come again and recommend to others!
Pros: Totally loved the hotel and grounds. The staff was wonderful. Our room was amazing.
Pros: Wasn’t happy that we had to pay for the use of the spa. The outdoor jacuzzi wasn’t working and we were after cycling for 2 days. And really looking forward to relaxing. To have been charged to use the indoor jacuzzi and steam room was a bit greedy. The receptionist working the night of our stay was very accommodating and assisted us by allowing us to use the staff canteen to prepare some dinner.
Cons: Been charged to use the spa.
When you stay at Hotel Rural Panxampla in Tortosa, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Els Port Natural Park and Santa Maria de Tortosa Cathedral. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly staff. Breakfasts. Silence. Original place and design.
Cons: A bit trouble some communication if you do not know Spanish or Catalan ;) Anything to go requires car as it is in the middle of nowhere (almost) ;) Not a big deal anyway.
Pros: Spacious room with amazing views of the valley. Lovely breakfast and good service.
Pros: The hosts are friendly and make you feel at home. The breakfast is big and delicious - they prepare it separately for each guest with a variety of meats, cheese and pastry, therefore if you are a vegetarian you should probably mention it in advance, I'm sure they will tend to each specific needs. The room was big and comfy, with a view over olive trees and the mountains. The hotel is out of town so you'll get a lot of peace and tranquility - it's the best we've slept in months. Parking is right in front of the hotel and wifi was strong.
Cons: Given the hotel is secluded, you will need to take your car for dinner but you have good restaurants 15' away in Tortosa. There were quite a lot of flies in the rooms but I guess it comes with the rural area and the horses farm they have next door.
Pros: The room was very spacious and clean. WiFi is very good. Special building very historical. Very kind owners. Small scale hotel. Just four rooms. Very tranquil location.
Cons: Not so easy to reach. The exterior does not look very appealling.
Pros: Lovely place, quiet, the owners are really nice, very good breakfast.
Pros: Beautiful hotel. The owner was great-we needed an early breakfast which he provided at 6.30am
Pros: Beautiful rooms with perfect breakfast. Location is amazing if you want to relax. Owners are very very nice :)
Pros: Superb hideaway... Spotlessly clean & comfortable / Lovely breakfasts / Good fishing / Great hosts.
Cons: Nothing !
Pros: Fantastic place to stay surrounded by orange trees and a magnificent silence. The appartment is nice, charming and cozy. Lynn and Ian make you feel "at home"
Pros: Breakfast was beautiful, being able to have your breakfast outside in the sun with the view's was a lovely touch. We felt so welcome from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. It was like a home away from home. Both Lyn and Ian were so friendly with us and there for any help we needed.
Cons: Nothing at all, we both loved our stay and will definitely be returning.
Pros: The situation quietness overall the whole package was spot on and the owners were excellent everyone should stay here and be as lucky as we were
Cons: There was nothing not to like
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The accommodation is delightful. The location is rural and quiet. A car is really necessary to get out and about but there are lovely walks through orange groves alongside the River Ebro. The hosts were extremely welcoming and speak English. They were happy to let us sit in their lovely garden and offered use of their swimming pool. They welcomed us with a bottle of cava and gave us beers and were happy to offer help when we needed it.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: Super hosts, lovely garden, comfy bed
Cons: Wifi in rural Spain is always going to be a challenge - one has to be patient!
With a stay at Hotel Casa Ceremines in Xerta, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Els Port Natural Park and Santa Maria de Tortosa Cathedral. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very impressive interior.. lovely outdoors and pool.. stylish dining room.. rooms are old style but very comfortable.. bathrooms are new and upscale..
Pros: The pool and garden are amazing, like a private poolside retreat. Wonderful staff, great rooms, so relaxing.
Pros: Stunning hotel ,very clean . Staff we met friendly welcoming.
Cons: Very disappointed that although advertised as Restaurant it doesn't have one. Also no bar service to speak of as staff not present. Was my 60th birthday gift spoilt due to lack of restaurant and bar. May as well have stayed in b&b.
Pros: The place is a living museum. Time travel exists!
Cons: The locals apparently voted to keep the church bells chiming the quarters and the hours at all times of the day and night. They may be used to that, but outside visitors who are light sleepers are certainly not!
Pros: It was all top class
Pros: Swimming pool, very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, great breakfast choices. In walking distance to everything in Xerta.
Cons: The church bell rings every 15 minutes. Windows facing the church can’t stay open, hard to get used to the sound.
Pros: Amazing people! Great place! Decorations are awesome!

Pros: Room large, beautiful , furnished in a no clutter style, immaculate, with everything provided , including fridge with soft drinks and bottled water. Delightful terrace with pool. Breakfast with many choices of good food, and wonderful coffee. I stayed just one night, enroute from Devon, continue journey in morning.
Cons: My room opposite a petrol station ... Though lovely big window, With far reaching views of a busy city to the right.
Pros: The location suited us and the breakfast was ok, though not as good as last time.
Cons: The room had an unpleasant smell, it faced the busy road, coloured lights blinking through the curtains at night was irritating, We had asked for two single beds, got instead a large doublbed and a single bed makng the room space tighter. The breakfast and service last time was better. Upon request, we got another room with the same deficiencies except for the smell. We could not fnd the Hotel Parking fees on he website, but found it (at <10% of room charges) to be high for a hotel guest
Pros: Food was very good, best chicken ever!
Cons: The bathroom was very cramped and small
Pros: Not too far from city center!
Cons: Rooms noisy due to heavy traffic in the morning. Should soundproof windows!
Pros: Comfortable beds, pillows etc. Nice, big, clean room with a Nice wiew . Very nice receptionists . New and Nice hotel, Great restaurant and swimming pool. We will come back here for sure :)
Cons: The staff of cleaning up the rooms were unpleasant
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean
Cons: Nothing it was perfect
Pros: Short walk into town so nice location. Good selection for breakfast helpful and friendly staff.
Pros: Nice cozy hotel in a small beautiful town. Much higher than my expectations based on the price I paid!!
Cons: Everything was good!

Pros: Easy to locate, friendly staff, nice breakfast
Cons: No bar facilities
Pros: Excellent women on reception. .. extremely helpful. Close to train station 3 min walk. Modern all you need
Cons: Outlook from 2nd floor is to almost abandoned building and other higher buildings so room quite dark.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The room was incredibly small and poor lighting. Looking out the window was depressing. In the two days I stayed, may have had internet 10 mini
Pros: Beds were good and the breakfast was also very good. Nicr modern design.
Pros: The place itself is good, clean, well kept.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I only had time for a 4 hour rest
Pros: Fairly close to town.
Cons: Plug socket didnt work. Bath took 15 minutes to drain after a shower. No drawers in the room. The safe was in reception which was to hire. Not convenient when you're on 5th floor.
Pros: The location of the Hotel is great. Walking distance from all historical sights. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.
Located in Tortosa, Parador de Tortosa is near the beach, within a 5-minute walk of La Suda Castle and The Royal Schools and the Renaissance Interpretation Centre. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Hotel in a castle!
Cons: Pool closed. No AC even though temperature in mid 20s C.
Pros: Good Location in the castle with view of the river and the town. It is a short but steep walk to explore the town, see the cathedral or find a restaurant. Pleasant room, good size bathroom, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool to cool down.
Pros: Fabulous location, excellent staff.
Cons: Actually hotel rooms were built in 1970's. You dont experience much of the historic castle.
Pros: Service, location and ambiance.
Pros: Super location in the Castle of Tortosa with splendid views of the Ebro and the town - each room has a terrace . Bathroom was spacious but a bit dated. Bed very comfortable and good size . We had a good dinner in the restaurant after a long drive from the South of France - service was fair . Breakfast was also superb with wide choice if a bit pricey ! Reception staff very professional and friendly. Car parking convenient .
Cons: Nothing really - it was good value for money
Pros: Great staff, very friendly and supportive. Excellent restaurant on sight! Comfortable and big rooms with a view on Tortosa city
Pros: Beautiful facility - 10th century castle on top of a hill. Historic Paradores are the BEST option to see different parts of Spain.
Cons: Tortosa may have been a bit of a sleepy little city.
Pros: The front desk staff were superb. The rooms were great/comfortable and the views fantastic both from the rooms and the grounds. Also some historical artifacts on display. You can drive or take a taxi right up to the reception - with lots of free parking and no narrow medieval streets to navigate on the way up. Some of the rooms need some stair climbing but the majority don't. Good value. Standard rooms have balconies which are nice to enjoy the view from. Highly recommended if your travel plans take you close to Tortosa and you want to stay in a Parador/castle without breaking the bank.
Cons: I was not impressed that a hotel of this calibre has no English speaking staff in their restaurant (there is an English menu and some ability to ask basic questions, but anything out of the ordinary was impossible to communicate about). Furthermore, the food in the Parador restaurant was only ok - but either overpriced for what was offered or not as fancy or well presented as it should have been. I would not eat there again. Walk into town and take a cab back or burn off some calories walking back up.
A stay at Hotel Tortosa Parc places you in the heart of Tortosa, within a 15-minute walk of Monument a la Batalla de l’Ebre and Santa Maria de Tortosa Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly staff. Restaurant right next door. Lovely park across the road with river nearby.
Cons: All good.
Pros: The location and the staff, also the buffet breakfast was great value.
Cons: Room a little small
Cons: Good budget hotel is main location
Pros: The secure parking.
Cons: The WiFi keeps logging you out.
Pros: Breakfast was absolutely fine. Hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the railway station.
Cons: The bedroom was a bit small, but hey, you can't have everything. It was small because the single bed was wider than a standard single! I would have enjoyed a slightly larger TV but again, not a major problem. There's a flight of stairs from the street up to reception. Not a problem for me but if anybody has trouble climbing stairs then I suggest you look for a different hotel.
Pros: It’s location and the parking facilities.
Cons: The hotel access was via steep stairs only. The room was very small. The bathroom had only a shower and no bath. Whilst our 2 small dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel when we went down for breakfast we were turned away as dogs were not allowed in the restaurant (even to sit far away from the food or other diners). There were no other seating areas where we could sit.
