Spa is a bit worn down, but does the job

All the staff were lovely, rooms were super clean with great big comfortable beds. We were on the top floor in the most modern rooms and couldn't fault them. Alacante is a great place to visit with all you could need on your doorstep. Beach, restaurants, shopping and old town charm.

Breakfast had a good selection but wasn't 4*. E.G. You couldn't order eggs to your liking - just scrambled eggs from a carton. Poor selection of cereals. Tea and coffee making machines were combined. Therefore, to pour boiling water for tea you had to wait till people finished making coffee. A hot water samavar would make a big difference. The spa facilities are anything but luxurious. In fact, it's more like a dated leasure club. E.G. You have to pay a €20 deposit for a towel OR a robe per person. The entire spa facilities, from changing rooms to sauna need drastic modernisation - even the shower was cold! Unfortunately when we visited Alicante there were very bad thunderstorms and flooding. We were confined to the hotel for a couple of days and there was no entertainment of any kind - poor WiFi and a great big TV and nothing to watch.

Location is great and spa is lovely

Rooms are noisy, could hear tv on in the rooms next door and disco from across the street.
