Very comfortable, would have been excellent value but for the fact parking options were not explained. Free over night outside. Internet offered very slow. Ended up in internet cafe. (much more reasonable) Staff, Location,Cleanliness, and Breakfast all excellent. A large town rather than a city, but lovely people and a very nice way to meet and mix with real Spanish people. Special thanks to, Elliot Bruce, the waiter at one off the many night spot in the town centre, polite, charming and thankfully spoke excellent English with a wit to boot!
We thought the room and breakfast were excellent. Also hotel is in an ideal position to explore the city and surrounding area. Parking expensive
A modern hotel on an old site and excellent location with brilliant views of country and river. Some interesting old buildings as well in the town. Good base for exploring the area. Not sure that the room rate is fully justified compared to some other Paradors.
The views are excellent and the hotel has been recently refurbished so everything is in very good condition.
The whole package/experience was very good. A bit expensive for what was delivered.
Huge beautifully appointed rooms with fantastic views over the countryside due to the elevated position above the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room smelled of smoke even though we requested non-smoking. Breakfast at 17euro was overpriced. Cafe/Bar did not serve food in the afternoon when the restaurant was not yet open.
I´ve already lodged at this Parador years ago and the only difference with previous visits is that it has been enlarged and refurbished. Restaurant is very good.
The city and surroundings. The external view of the hotel.
From the minute we walked into the hotel we were made welcome. The location on the edge of Soria although hard to find, was spectacular to say the least, with views to spark the romantic in anyone and the town center only a short taxi ride away, although you could walk if you had a little time.
The room is spacious and clean but without character, you could be in any country. A business style hotel not really for holidays. No one speaks english. The restaurant's english translation of the menu is extraordinarily incorrect, I ordered vegetable stew but was served Chinese spinach in a garlic broth with chopped up mussels on top - amazing!
Excellent breakfast No public transportation between downtown hotel, only taxi, but city downtown is not far form the hotel.
Very helpful staff Food was not best quality, and not good value for money
Easy to park More like a 2 star hotel but undergoing renovation. Location by Petrol Station outside Soria. Overpriced for its location and quality.
room was clean and air conditioning worked there was no proper resturant only a bar on the other side of busy road, access by the dirty badly kept underpass. the hotel was not a 3 star more a one star motel. The wifi also was very bad and could not connect. also the direction for the hotel should include on junction of N122 and N234. as hotel is not signed so we missed turning.
The hotel was clean and modern. The restaurant was opposite the hotel on the other side of the main road. There was a pedestrian underpass connecting both.We were not impressed with the state of the restaurant we walked in and walked straight out again and drove to Soria for our evening meal. You quoted €59.92 including breakfast, reception charged €106.00
it was practical and quiet, staff was helpful and kind the room smelled from the bathroom in a quite ugly way (sewage)
Very nice hotel at the price, very clean although other than the receptionist the staff were pretty grumpy Breakfast was all nicely laid out although there was no staff to ask for milk and the receptionist had to be disturbed to accommodate our needs.
Rooms recently renovated Bad location next to a main rood. No restaurant, no swimming pool.Bad function of main doors.
Staff on reception
It was quiet and excellent value with superb access to the beautiful town of Soria and the surrounding historic villages The bed was not very comfortable
The location and the receptionist named Laura. Found the general maintenance of the hotel and grounds to be deficient.
Breakfast in the Hotel itself not up to much
Absolutely nothing. Double bed too small, emergency orange lights on permanently in bedroom so could not sleep, shower screen leaked, floor water damage, bath damaged and patched up - a mess! Only one plug between bath and basin. No restaurant Sunday evening. Bar closes early. Should have been rated 2 star!!! Very poor. We expected more as it was rated 4 star!
I liked the modern feel about the building at the same time it was welcoming and easy to find one's way about unlike some larger hotels Room was rather bare, little colour in decoration no pictures but ok for undemanding single person.
The hotel was classed as four star but had absolutely no facilities, during the time we were there the bar and the restaurant were closed for the whole of the time. and there was no lounge area in which to sit. the hotel is in a residential area remote from the city centre, with a long walk down a seedy road to try to find a restaurant, but none were found.the only food available being in a small supermarket. we considered the hotel to be considerably overpriced for the facilities which were on offer.
I was very impressed with the hotel, clean and helpful staff.
The quiet neighborhood and convenient location to walking in town. The parking was very difficult and sometimes not available.
We arrived at night only to be told to go to another hotel 1km away to gat the key (there was no warning of this on the website). There was nowhere to park and we had to carry our luggage some distance.
My first visit to Soria and the hotel and staff were great. The hotel was basic, but very clean and central to all the sights.
Clean comfortable large traditional Spanish house.Enjoyed the welcome and casual yet professional way we were treated. The good wholesome home cooking was a pleasent change from the more formal large hotel restaurant enviroment we had been experiencing on our tour of Spain.
friendly welcome of the owner and his wife.We were travelling out of season yet nothing was too much trouble for ourselves and the one other couple staying. the hotel is a little off the main tourist routes ,but worth the slight deviation from the segovia road.
A delightful rural hotel, conveniently situated for our journey, but secluded in an ancient Spanish village. Old building, renovated 5 years ago, retaining characteristic features and incorporating more than adequate facilities.Lack of parking not a problem. Only a slight downside - the dinner in the hotel dining room (there didn´t seem to be anywhere else to eat in the village) was nice, and charmingly served, but a little overpriced?
