Very kind stuff, good breakfast Everything was perfect, but truck drivers. Rather noisy and it was very difficult to find the hotel
Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Infrastructure is in good condition. They tried to charge me first at a much higher rate than what I had booked. After refusing this rate and showing them my booking, they complied with the agreed rate.
Rooms were clean and well equipped. The walls are very thin, so you can hear exactly what your neighbors do.
Well placed for travelling, good bar and restaurant Bar staff didn't know how to deal with Hotel clients, bills, registering and couldn't speak english and didnt go find anybody that could. Had to ask Spanish speaking people for help and left decidedly worried I had paid but the management might not know. She didnt know how to use card and I paid cash.
The service was excellent. The rooms was spacious and very clean. we enjoy very much the ambiance.
We just came from a 6 day stay at this hotel over Semana Santa (Holy Week), using it as a base to visit all over Extramadura, returning each night to our hotel to rest in the quiet, cool mountain town. We loved it. The staff doesn't speak Spanish - which is why you go there to experience Spanish life in a beautiful historic castle town! The staff was friendly, worked hard to understand our terrible high school spanish and used their high school English with smiles and laughter. ANd the local jamon (ham) is very tasty. What a fun time. We will return and highly recommend it to all for short or long stays. An early post commented on the smell. Our daughter lives nearby and said it is the toilet water. It wasn't bad and disappeared after toilet was flushed a few times. You will find this in several towns in the area as we did. (It happens here in our area in the States as well)
Lovely setting near a small village in the mountains. Very good hotel, nice room. Good for a stay of a few days to explore the area as Caceres and Merida are both within a hours drive
Nice location and confortable room The airconditioning wasn't working well and the included breakfast was poor. Also the pool was not on site but a community pool.
Location to the village and amenities, also access to hotel and parking was good. Great views. The swimming pool was not at the hotel, but was the village communal pool full of children. Only one member of staff on reception in the morning who also served breakfast which was very poor.
Nice and quiet Location, town is on Mountain top. Own car highly recommended, 40 min each to Merida, Caceres and Trujillo. Free parking. Room nice and clean. Restaurant with very good value for money and superb local wines included with the menues.
The cleanliness, location was al that I expected. A little tricky to find as the roads were very short and winding.
