Pros: This property is well taken care of with a wonderful staff. Rooms are on the small side but the staff & facilities excellent condition more than make up for that.
Pros: Convenient to everything downtown. A nice walk from the motel. Clean, nice staff, good breakfast pretty setting.
Pros: Spent one night after a few days of backpacking in the Smokies. Lovely place -- clean, great bed. The staff was extremely welcoming.
Cons: The selection of TV channels is very limited. No big deal.

Pros: For the price and location this is a perfect place! Will definitely return.
Cons: The only issue we had was the shower was a walk-in only and it didn't drain well. By the time two showers were complete you were standing in water.
Pros: Creekside location. Room was clean. Checkin was pleasant.
Cons: Hotel room floor was uneven. Unlike other motels/hotels, there was no complimentary breakfast offered.
Pros: When you arrive to Lloyds, you see a lodge/motel, as is the norm for majority of the Cherokee area. We were greeted by the front desk manager and enjoyed a pleasant conversation. He recommended many restaurants, along with sharing a map to assist with all their locations.
Once we entered our room, it was not as expected, every room is different. Done have hard wood floors, some have paneling, etc. You walk through your room and out the back door onto a joined rear deck with plenty of rocking chairs overlooking the river.
The serenity was great, the view was amazing, and the atmosphere won us over. We will return here for all of our future visits to the Cherokee area.
Cons: The paneling continued into the doors making then harder to close.
Pros: We were allowed to change our reserved rooms to ones on the river w/ porches and rockers upon arrival. Very nice to sit out at night. My friends and I had side by side rooms. Rooms were decent.
Cons: Some units have very small bathrooms, including mine, but for me, it wasn't a problem at all. Motel is located a few miles out of Bryson, although it seems to be just as close to Cherokee. Not a long drive or anything. No complaints here.
Cons: One bed was like a hammock the other one was
Like a rock. The cleaning lady didn't clean well, just made the beds and replaced towels. Never vacuumed and the sink and shower were dirty. Never emptied or cleaned the coffee pot just dropped off two cups and supplies. The best news is that I never have to go there again!

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and comfortable, and it's a great place to stay. Mine had a fridge. You can walk to the Huddle House to get food, it's always good but you're not going to escape for under $9/person for food. You can walk or drive to most of the places to eat, and for a town this size there are a fair amount of options. The Mexican restaurant is one of the better ones I've been to, and it's super cheap. And there's the usual fast food options of McD's and Hardee's, plus at least three other restaurants including a place that makes its own beer. Wi-Fi is very flakey. Speed: 3.5-7MBps at most, but it often cut out altogether and I had to switch to one of their other WiFi networks or use my phone.
Cons: While the hotel's really well run, the Wi-Fi needs to be sorted. Unfortunately I don't think that is in the control of the hotel, it's Frontier Internet that is the problem.
Pros: Well placed bethween Atlanta and the killer rides of the Smokies and Applachians.
Cons: It's been a bit banged up, but clean and nice. Seemed a bit expensive for the location and the age/condition. Breakfast was served in polystyrene, that's BAD.

Cons: The entire 3rd floor had a terrible, stale smell that they were trying to hide with plug in air fresheners. My room smelled horrible, like a combination of dog, sweaty clothes, and used motor oil. This hotel was nice 3 years ago, but has really declined
Pros: Short drive to get to the Tail. Black Knight diner & Lynn's Place for good local food. Clean room. Excellent amenities in the Jacuzzi suite.

Cons: They cancelled our room on us and despite having our phone number, did not call and let us know.
Pros: The view was spectacular and being within a 10 minute walking distance to downtown sums up the worth of the hotel!
Cons: Where to start....when turning on the heater be prepared to smell cat urine, no shampoo or conditioner, our window was being held shut by a ziptie, stained towels, burn hole in the sheets, almost a half inch gap from the floor to the bottom of the door!

Pros: The Ridge Top is perfect for anyone who wants a room to call home base while doing the many activities around Bryson City. The rooms and property are clean and well kept by the owners who live on site. We found it to be Quite at night and has a charm of its own. Pros: The location was nice, the view was ok, leaving was great
Cons: Very poor AC, run down bathrooms,
Pros: Clean, pleasant owners, a roof over my head after fishing all day. Nothing more asked of it ....
Pros: The guy at the desk was very nice. The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for -- cheap, in Bryson City, no frills. Everything that you expect to work (hot and cold water, lamps, tv) worked well. We got decent WIFI as well but we're not sure whether it was actually the hotel's. The area was also really quite.
Pros: It was a short ride to the train stop and an easy drive to Bryson City for shopping and dining.
Cons: Great price compared to other hotels in Bryson City. It was in a quiet location too. From the front porch there was a nice view of the mountains. The room had a very strong odor of room deodorizer. The room also desperately needed updating as did the whole property.

Pros: Convenient to the things we were doing in Bryson City
Pros: Room was clean and staff was friendly. The room had a window seat that added to the charm and function of the room.
Cons: The rate was high considering it was off season (September) and in such a remote town. The continental breakfast was the bare minimum consisting of bagels and two cereal choices and seating in lobby for breakfast was uncomfortable and small.
Pros: Centrally located to local attractions, room was clean and comfortable.
Pros: Location, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Had to get keycard fixed Everytime we used it.
Pros: Room and bathroom was clean, beds were comfortable, and enough counter space in the bathroom to put makeup bag by the sink. Has everything we needed.
Cons: Breakfast was just ok, but enough to eat.
Pros: Good value. Clean, nicely appointed, friendly staff.
Cons: Unusual location. There is a $25.00 charge for pets. That seemed kind of steep for a small dog.
