The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and filling.
This place has real character, staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. Food was amazing we had evening meal and breakfast here and both were outstanding. Our room was very clean with good lighting comfy bed and decent sized tv and wifi. The pub downstairs was also a really good old fashioned pub and the locals were really friendly and lovely. We had a great night here and cant wait to visit again....hopefully before Ken the manager retires
That we only stayed 1 night. Would of loved to stay longer
The owner of this facility was the most helpful man , provided transportation for me and my son to Robin Wood each day which was a life saver. Made sure we were well looked after every day. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous mmm. Lovely old quirky building with loads of character and exceptional customer service. We were made to feel more than welcome.
The host, Ken, is affable. WiFi worked ok. My breakfast was good.
It’s an old property and I recognise that it would be a challenge to maintain but the accommodation is suffering from neglect. The carpets are dirty and patched throughout. The heating in our bedroom did not work despite Ken attending to it after we notified him of the fact each day. The breakfast was hearty but we were given no opportunity to place an order! We were presented with two full cooked breakfasts - my partner did not want a cooked breakfast. She might have been vegetarian but we were not asked.
It's our 4th time staying at the angel and we love it great pub ... Ken is lovely as are the barmaids .. breakfast is great to
