The owners are great and very helpful...It's a great place to stay
This is the oldest building in the town, lots of charm, great staff and good food in their restaurant. Great weissbier!
The staff is very helpfull and smiling, breakfast (paid separately, it was 7 Euro) was very good and the room extremly clean (towels changed daily).
Beautiful rooms, very clean and comfortable, just 100 meters fromAltomunster railway station. Brauerei Maierebrau is just 300 meters from the hotel, there you can get a delitious breakfast for just 7 euros pp. Wery good stuff and great location. Nothing
Modern ikea decorated appartment, extra clean, fridge, stove, they also own a restaurant in the town, they brew their own beer and it's excellent. Free Internet connection with MaxSpot, parking. No surprise. We stayed there to go to Oktoberfest in Munich. It was a bit far from Munich but at least we had something super clean and not expensive for that time of the year. It's possible to reach Munich by train which seemed really close (we went by car). A bit difficult to reach the staff when I was there, but it was a isolated incident (there was a huge event in the city that happens every 5 years, everybody was busy). I really think in normal times it would be perfect.
Central in a pretty village and close enough to Munich not to be in it. Food good. Breakfast has good selection.
Our room was clean (as well as the bathrooms) and the breakfast was good. It was a short train ride into Munich. A good value for the money.
Staff very genuine and friendly. Generous breakfast. Great alternative for those wanting to stay in a quiet place rather than the city centre (about 1h to Munich centre by public transport). Very fair room rates, even during Oktoberfest.
The people where very nice and the atmosphere was very authentic. Moreover the hotel is very cheap for Munich. The hotel is quite far from Munich, thought there is an S-bahn train that goes there every hour.
fantastic staff, clean rooms and a beautiful hotel location! 2hrs from airport and 1hr 30 to munich city centre. train to and from altomunster also only comes every hour.
it is nicely 'Bavarian' and the food [and beer] is very good. location on a major street entails some noise, inevitably.
Nice people, good food, very good beer Returning around midnight on the second day, it would have been nice to be able to get a beer or other drink (from a central fridge, automat or a minibar)
Seemed a very traditional little village and the hotel fitted right in. Excellent traditional food and beer. The room was a little cold but the duvet was very warm so not a problem for me but my wife would not have been happy.
Tipical, good, quite, ony 1hour from the center of Muich, good bear.
Excellent staff, nice atmosphere.
Just very convenient for our trip to Munich Rooms at the back had loud road noise if you like to sleep with window open
Wifi in the entire hotel, staff
Better than I expected!
The room is spacious, clear and decorated in elegance. Breakfast and internet also include in room price that is economical. The room we were gave is near by the cross road. The cars came in and out all night. Indoor is stuffy and have to open the window. I couldn't sleep until wear the ear plug.
The hotel and staff no
I loved the hotel I would stay there again, they spoke great English and were very nice. The room was beautiful and had a pretty nice tub. The breakfast is amazing!! Eggs, bacon really everything but a biscuit! I like how quite and peacefull it was! There was no pool and it's about 20 mins from down town Munich a little far away for my liking,
Very good and romantic restaurant. Staff really nice and helpful. Two course(fish soup plus meat) dinner with wine, coffee and dessert for two came to 65 euros (tips included) which is fantastic. Breakfast was great experience. Room with bathroom was big and very clean. Decore of room was lovely (stayed in queen room). Overall design of hotel is impressive. There was also a reading room with sofa and coffe machine. Parking is not a problem. Very close to the airport. My partner would have loved a small kettle in the room.
The staff were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty. We were late for a flight and the staff checked us out quickly and phoned ahead to the airport on our behalf.
We really liked staying at the Ampervilla Hotel. It was a little off the beaten path, but the town was nice, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I definitely recommend it. It would have been nice to have a pool.
Quiet and very nice neighborhood, proximity of public transport (S-Bahn) %
Excellent staff, good restaurant and value for money
I don't like room 121!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and spacious, walking distance to town and river walk. Restaurant not open the night we arrived, which was a sunday
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean We thought the food was great! I especailly liked the free internet access. It's very useful these days.
The hotel restaurant is closed on a Sunday.
service and facilities, frendly people
very nice and modern hotel, new and clean, lots of facilities in the room, good menu in the restaurant, nice location by the river, nature, could rest well after a long trip
Each and every staff member was personable and exceeded my expectations. They were thorough during the check-in and check-out process and specific in their recommendations for traveling and dining. I felt right at home although I was far away from home. Their fitness center can use updating.
hotel, the staff, the location, everything was 100%keep up the good work.
Everything was o.k., the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the Hotel served it's perpous - a hotel on the Highway on the way to Munich. there was even a nice simple restaraunt nearby
loss of parkingplaces
Plentiful parking, clean rooms and good value.
There is a possibility to check in even after reception closing hours
The room was large, clean and comfortable and very quiet - and the staff were all friendly and efficient. Great breakfast - and although there is no restaurant for dinner, there is a reasonable restaurant up the road. Excellent value - and convenient access to the motor way. Highly recommended.
the coffee from the aral petrol station breakfast was expensive
Comfortable, clean, beds were wonderful No
We stayed one night during Oktoberfest. It was about a 30 minute trip from Munich, GPS took us right to the door, it was located right off the Autobahn...may have been difficult to find w/o GPS. Room was great so was breakfast. All good.
Good clean room and fair facilities. Sauna not ready for use when asked, but receptionist soon turned it on. Said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, as she was new, she had not switched it on properly, and I had to wait a further 15 minutes!! A simple mistake, but no problem! No food available in the evening. Might have had a machine offering snacks or sandwiches perhaps?
Staff were really helpful and breakfast was excellent Room was too hot and lift was broken
Good location in Dachau nice clean rooms & bathrooms Parking available but convoluted to use & access since in a basement gated parking garage late check in was awkward -probably because of holiday season
Located in the heart of the town, next to lots of stores. Room was very clean, neat, and beds were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet--the best we've had on our trip! A very nice place to stay! No complaints at all. Parking is a problem, but they do as well as possible. The parking garage is underground and maneuvering is tight.
Central location and very accommodating staff. Noise from traffic was excessive as our room was on hotel front.
Ideal location for touring both Dachau and Munich. It is a 5 min. walk to the train station and 20 min. train trip to Munich. The outside of the hotel is not impressive but the room was one of the nicest we had in Germany. Excellent breakfast buffet.
comfortable bed and clean room. Quiet atmosphere.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet was included free of extra charge. The hotel is within walking distance to the Train Station and the older part of the city. We couldn't turn off the heat, and the room had no real air flow.
We were very pleased with the helpful staff and impressed by the morning breakfast buffet. Dinner dining options were very limited
We had been to visit the Dachau concentration camp memorial, hence choosing Dachau to stay for the night. The hotel was fine for this purpose, friendly staff at reception, with a bar for coffee/nightcap later. Handily located for short walk to local restaurant, though you might need a car/catch bus into the main town centre. Room and breakfast were both adequate. Safe car parking underground was provided at daily rate. Bed was comfortable. Free internet access a bonus. Was slightly surprised that, as a 4* hotel, it did not have its own restaurant for evening meals.
very dirty carpet, no internet access
