The owner is really kind, good breakfast, modern room & bathroom. Close to 3 awesome caves (must see: Miro da Aire - it is one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal!) It was surprisingly quite foggy (in July), giving our stay an almost mystical atmosphere.
The staff was very friendly and helpful / the room was clean and warm / the surrounding and views are beautiful / nice and tasty simple breakfest.
There is a common room at the hotel - quite spacious / with some big round tables - but it feels more official than a place, created to give a warm atmosphere. As we were traveling with friends (two couples) we were missing a more cosy place to sit relaxed together before going to our rooms.
The view behind the building is nice, and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful.
You can ear EVERYTHING in the room, and I mean, the whole day. If someone is taking a shower in the room next to yours, it's almost the same as if they are doing it at your bathroom. If you don't like to disturb the others, it's damn hard not to do so.
Clean and new, owner very helpfull close to the caves
