by far the best hotel in town - sorry village. luxus has its price.
Staff was friendly and very efficient. Hotel was tastefully decorated and rooms were comfortable, modern, and very clean. Very nice saunas and rest areas in the spa. The hotel's parking was not very convenient (in the back of the hotel and no direct access to the hotel which means you have to take a short walk around the block.....no very convenient with luggage and when it is raining)! The steambaths in the spa were very disappointing. They were not very hot and there was not much variety between the different rooms.
room location not well explained, room was in semi basement
we spent a memorable . Lovely room, great spa, restaurant 1 star michelin an snow . The tea buffet at the bar is very good. they do not have a menu in English only German and the personal staff could not explain to us the menu.
The location was perfect. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. There was a computer for guest use in the lobby free of charge which was useful. The buffet breakfast included in the price was plentiful.
Great staff, very friendly. My wife had birthday that w/e and the staff really treated her that day with special surprises for breakfast and dinner. The Spa is small but very nice, great relax-rooms with view! Restaurant and Lounge are very nice and stylish. We'll definately stay again. Rooms are very clean and overall everything is there, however, not matching the great Spa, Restaurant and Lounge wow-effect. Room could be nicer decorated.. but still top!
Dining, Location, Spa/Wellness I prefer rooms that lock automatically when I leave the room. On one occassion I returned to my room and found the door unlocked. Staff had cleaned the room while I was out. I don't know if I left the room unlocked or the cleaning staff did
Wellness area Very small living room and bathroom
Friendly staff. Excellent high quality breakfast. Very nice indoor pool. Very spacious, sunny room. Windows were to the main street, but we stayed in the off season and it was absolutely calm.
It's location, near the mountains, walking trails. I enjoy a more rustic feel. This is not at all a complaint. However, the nearby town of Sportz and their accomodations are more to my liking.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere but staff very caring and efficient - designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. The hotel dog a great bonus for all!
The hotel was first class with friendly and efficient staff, excellent food (I strongly recommend the half pension deal). The swimming pool, steam room and sauna were splendid. My single room was not large, but was well equipped and enjoyed a splendid mountain view from the balcony. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the village and regular postbus service. There was no internet service in the room, and the facility in the hotel lobby was unreasonably expensive. I suspect that when the hotel is busy, car parking may be a problem.
Everything, lot of activities
Difficult to say as we were only there over night but this Hotel is clearly geared towards Cyclists/Skiing/Sposts enthusiasts. A very futuristic building. Here you are in the middle of the Swiss Alps with Huge frosted windows obscuring the most fantastic scenery. Shame.
It was a unique experience. The concept of the hotel is great; it encouraged us to do something active ! The room was stuffy, and everyone had a hard time sleeping. I didn't really like the party atmosphere in the hotel;there were two teenagers in the public showers having sex.
friendly staff, excellent breakfast, wonderful sorroundings
Extreme good location & sporty atmosphere
the beds are very comfortable
A quirky hotel with excellent facilities for outdoor activies and inclusive use of chair lift Breakfast experience reminicent of school dinners. Coffee machine not working. Top bunk was not guarded.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful and the facilities were very clean and fresh. We didn't have an evening meal here, but the buffet breakfast was varied and very tasty. Erika came and chatted with us briefly at breakfast which was a nice personal touch, so too were the welcome postcards in the bedrooms with a little chocolate. There weren't any croissants for breakfast when we were there, which we missed.
Very nice owners, we did feel very much at home.
A very quiet village and our room had beautiful views along the valley. Nice ambience in the dining room for both breakfast and dinner. Hotel completely closes on a Tuesday, which seems a bit strange
Outstanding view over the city and the mountains. The staff is very helpful. Good Breakfast.
Very friendly staff and the room rate did also include a ticket for the lift up the local mountains. Booked a standard room, this was very basic from my experiences of European hotels. The pictures on this site are of the premium rooms.
Hotel is average in many ways; certainly not bad at all, but not noteworthy in any way. Nice view on mountains and quite atmosphere as well. Restaurant could have bigger selection for meals. Had to wait most times for somebody to show up at reception, which was a bit annoying at the end.
