10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location right in the middle of the town. Great. Breakfast was lovely and well presented.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I visit Rocamadour, this is where I stay because it’s perfect! It is an ancient hotel with modern facilities with an incredible location. Parking is right outside and free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and beautiful location. Lovely staff.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good, safe parking which couldn't be any closer. Dinner on the terrace was excellent. Staff attentive but not intrusive.
Cons: Very hard to think of how our stay could be improved on.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In the right place and the stuff are verry friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the center of the old Citadelle. Parking across the hotel a plus . Nice restaurant and bistro
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
7.3 Good
Pros: I loved the traditional architecture of the hotel and its idyllic location.
Cons: The bathroom ! This really needed updating-bigstyle!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in the heart of the old town. Wonderful view from our bedroom. Comfortable and spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Excellent food served.
Cons: The hordes of day-trippers that come to Rocamadour during the daytime (they cleared out after 6pm thankfully).
6.3 Good
Pros: Very helpful staff and an excellent location. Clean & tidy room.
Cons: If I was being picky, the grouting around the bath/shower was mouldy and discoloured which doesn't look good and is easy enough to sort out. Parking is possible but you have to squeeze in three deep and the keys are left with reception so cars can be moved if necessary. If you aren't happy about that, they can be parked down the road or in the garage, if there is room.
7.3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and the room was full of character. The bathroom was very modern and had a separate shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was so quiet despite overlooking the main street in the old town. At about 8.45 am we were the only signs of life in the old village - no other people and no animals on the street. This was a great way to see the place before the crowds arrived. Rides to the top level as soon as they opened (9 am) let us explore there before the coaches started to arrive. Parking was not a problem even though the area was quite small and reception saw to any re-positioning of vehicles as needed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, fantastic room and great value for money
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel is perfect.
Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: excellent location
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent, and was the main reason we booked. however, having stayed in several other Best western hotels around France during the same holiday I do think that it was slightly overpriced, despite its location. Having said that, the room was excellent and staff very amenable.
Cons:
4.8 Okay
Pros: Location, friendly staff and excellent restaurant
Cons: Access to hotel and car parking could have been better explained preferably on the booking confirmation. Air conditioning poor.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything - the room, the company, the host, the surroundings and the ease of finding the place. The room was tastefummy decorated, not over-fussy (we hate having to move loads of cushions before getting into bed), and the breakfast was more than adequate. Thank you to our host Janine.
Cons: Nothing to complain about at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everithing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place immensely ! Once you climb (in a car) the winding road or climb the multitudinous stairs, you'll meet the Lady of the House at Check-in which is from 5 to 7 pm. So enjoy the Cathedral and Castle during the Day. The Hotel is totally modern, and we enjoyed a complete European Apartment, Bedroom, Bath, Kitchenette, Coffee-maker, Dining Area and Pull-out sofa/bed. It was extremely clean and we appreciated that !! We had tickets for the Prehistoric Cave Paintings in the area of Pech Merle - so we had to leave very early. We couldn't believe how very, very kind the Owner of this hotel was. She woke early and prepared Breakfast for us, which of course was French-delicious!! Thank You Madame!! We highly recommend this fabulous place to stay if you are fortunate enough to visit this extraordinary place in Eastern Bordeaux!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location. The quality of the bed.
Cons: Instaed of pancakes for the breakfast I would prefer eggs and bacon. We had to wait till 4:00 pm to get our room ready
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing, all fine
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Every thing is good

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Nothing about the hotel, just that we had some difficulty getting to the parking as the road is so narrow, and we're unfamiliar with the area.

Pros: Loved everything. Magical place and Marie is lovely
Cons: All perfect
les roulottes du LOT - Gramat - Building

Overview Reviews
Located in Gramat, this cabin is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Animal Park of Gramat and The Monkey Forest. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Corinne is a super friendly host who makes you feel very welcome and serves up a great breakfast. The roulotte has everything you need including a WC and shower. It’s really well designed. Sleeping with all the windows and doors open is unnerving at first but it’s so quiet that you sleep very well. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car so you can stock up. It was really fun sleeping at the roulotte. Highly recommended.
Cons: We loved everything. The only thing was that it was a heat wave and so the caravan got very hot during the day. But at night it was wonderful and by morning we had pulled on the extra cover.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This wonderful little roulotte, situated in the quiet countryside alongside the Chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle, is a real gem. The roulotte is comfortably appointed and very clean. The bed is a double, which is smaller then we are accustomed to, but it was sufficient and comfortable. The roulotte is also equipped for simple self-catering and there are pleasant places to sit outside with a lovely view of the Chemin and the small Saint-Chignes church. The real draw of this place, though, is its owner, Coco, a truly hospitable person and a fantastic cook (we took dinner one night). She patiently helped us practice our French, advised us where to shop and sightsee, and arranged for a horse drawn carriage ride through the countryside. We enjoyed spending time at this quiet retreat with her (and her dogs and sheep!).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Nice place and better host.

6.0 Good
Pros: Warm and complete welcome Lovely property and well taken care off Very good location It’s everything you need but no more
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and hollowed out. The living room is so nice but the room missed a bit of warmth and charm. The colours are monotonous and there’s no decoration. I expected it to be less basic from the pictures. Breakfast seems overpriced, so we didn’t take it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The modern buildings with all the light coming in. The outdoor areas for breakfast and the pool. Warm welcome to cyclists and good bike storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for Rocamadour and the upper Dordogne Valley Comfortable room and bed Relaxing surroundings Easy parking

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
7.9 Good
Pros: Staffs are really helpfull and nice breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this place, it actually felt more like a welcoming home than a hotel. Wide hallways, large open areas, plenty of glass and natural light and not many rooms. The pool area was lovely and very clean. In fact the whole place was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Our room was spacious and modern with our own private courtyard. The owners were very welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was exceptional. It is also perfectly located between the old town area and the new, I would highly recommend this property,
Cons: There is nothing negative about this property. It was exceptional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and friendliness of staff.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This inn is a couple of miles outside the village of Rocamadour. It is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed an evening walk and went past a large farm with grazing sheep and goats. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had a little girl of 4 months and they made it feel like she was no trouble at all. Extremely helpful and highly recommend staying here. Thanks again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, restaurant all first rate. The host made very good recommendations for visits and excursions. Easily accessible from the autoroute network.
Cons: As a non-drinker of wine, there wasn't much beer available
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was spectacular. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although we didn't use the pool as the weather was a little cool it was one of the reasons for us booking this hotel. Loved La Troubadour and wished we could have stayed longer.

6.7 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful, the welcome by the host was really warm, the rooms were large and well decorated... BUT ... see below
Cons: within minutes of arriving we were told to keep the windows and front door shut because of the flies... at first we didn’t think too much of that until we tried to go to sleep and found that we were woken up repeatedly with flies landing on us... at breakfast we found tee had to swipe the flies away as we ate and sadly after only a short time at the pool we had to leave because we were so fed up of swatting away the flies... such a shame as the pool area looked so nice!! We were very unhappy about the flies... it spoilt our stay!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: lovely to take a dip in the pool after a long drive. Clean room with air con unit that was much needed :-)
Cons: if you want to be in walking distance of a restaurant or bar then this place would not be suitable, we loved the peace and quiet of it though
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was very poor for an expensive 15euro
Cons: The kitchen was very dirty as was the cutlery which had been very poorly washed. The pans were very old and were heavily stained. There was a dead rat in the cupboard. Bread which had been left over night was eaten by some rodent. The breakfast in the morning was very poor for high price of 15 E. I was nearly electrocuted by the coffee machine and got a real belt when I touched the on/off switch. The earthing in the property is very poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beaitiful location and very welcoming family
Cons: We liked everything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good facilities in rural setting. Large spacious, clean and comfortable room and owners very helpful. Excellent breakfast. We only stayed overnight on way back to Scotland but this would be a great base to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to the region. We chose to have dinner in the restaurant for guests (needs booked in advance as all fresh and mainly local produce) which was excellent and very relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Poor wifi connectivity so an issue if you need that - was not important to us on our visit. If you are not dining on site then need to drive - nearest town is 10 to 12 minute drive away.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, quiet, swimming pool
Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool Nice staff
Cons: Bit out of the way
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very special experience! Accommodation is in very spacious and well equipped rooms in the converted stables of the chateau. I appreciated the air conditioning as it was quite warm and humid. We were greeted warmly and able to check in a little early, which was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was generous and delicious, in a huge converted stable room downstairs. There were also 2 small sitting rooms upstairs. An extra delight was the private dinner we were able to enjoy, thanks to Dutch chef de maison - Joop! We had not prebooked dinner, but Joop quickly suggested a light menu (of 5 courses!) for us, that he was remarkably able to put together with no more than a couple of hours warning. It was all delicious, and exactly what we were wanting. He joined us (at our request) for after dinner liqueurs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! (I would strongly suggest you prebook a dinner from Joop) The chateau is just a short drive from Rocamadour. We stayed only 1 night, but I really wish we had been able to stay longer, as I would have also liked to experience Rocamadour at night. A lovely place to stay and visit!

Pros: The hotel was very clean The owners were very friendly.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The Breakfast was continental and there was plenty of variety and the proprietor tried to provide extra products to meet my requirements. the food in the restaurant was very good with plenty of choice.
Cons: All the TV programmes were in French no English channels I appreciate that this is provided by free per view however this could be improved if you could select English subtitles. also the hotel had wifi so a you-view / firestick box may help to get the extra news channels. The restaurant was closed in the evenings Friday / Saturday / Sunday there were other restaurants in Gramat but none were as good as the hotel which is a compliment to the hotel but a negative with regards to staying in Gramat
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff contacted us to say that the hotel restaurant was closed on Friday. We agreed an arrival time . Bike was stored in garage. Lots of local restaurants to eat in .

They made a great effort to have my room ready when I arrived early and made sure I was happy with everything. Room was large and comfortable - even had a kettle. Great shower. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right at the top of the hill over looking the old town. Very clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The proximity to the old town, and the view from up high was great! The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The bed was too hard for me. Two of the wall plugs did not work. I travel with a CPAP machine for sleeping and I need to recharge mobile devices so I need wall plugs that work! Most important, I couldn’t have a shower! The control had a hot and cold that turned. I tried every which way but no cold so the water was scalding! I tried to convey this to the front desk in the morning (there was no one there after 6pm) but the language barrier made it difficult.

Cons: Cooler weather.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice place, the stuff is very polite, room feels like live in a castle.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Room of a decent size, clean and overlooking Rocamadour. The hotel restaurant has a large terrace with a view and where it eats very well. The breakfast buffet is very good and comprehensive. Free parking.
Cons: Upon arrival we found many flies in the room, also in the hall. We struggled to get the flies out of the room.

Cons: Room very hot, fan supplied but not adequate. No tea & coffee facility in room. Beds little uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Plate de jour was superb
Cons: A lot of flies around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. For those who can and like to walk, the hotel is right at the head of the “Voie sainte,” less than a km from the lower city (tougher upgrade back to hotel). Easy by car or taxi to upper parking lot at the elevator. Also, if driving, arrival at hotel and departure to other directions is easy.
Cons: Other than the fact that an elevator would have been better for the one of us with bad knees, nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent. But the view from the hotel overlooking Rocamadour was outstanding. I would recommend staying just for this view alone. The check in staff were polite and friendly. The centre of Rocamadour was in walking distance. Parking was safe.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
6.3 Good
Pros: Car parking. Superb location. Great shower. Views from dining area and bar.
Cons: Smelly shower. Uncomfortable mattress. No tea/coffee makings or even a bottle of water. Very hot although a fan was provided. Room above bar/restaurant so very noisy late and early.
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing location with wonderful view of Rocamadour. Room was smallish but comfy and the bathroom was good
Cons: Mâitre de in restaurant was very rude and unhelpful. Restaurant appeared to be understaffed. Only vegetarian options were salads, and when we were finally seated, we were told that all the salads were off. Which was a shame as the one fish main, when it finally came, was good. And the staff at breakfast the following morning were charming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect spot to watch the sun go down overlooking Rocamadour. Private parking and good sized rooms. Evening meal fab
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Alles was tip top.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice landscape and nice swimming pool. The dinner was excellent
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is fabulous, incredible view across the countryside and mountains. We visited Rocamadour which was 5 minutes away, so this was ideal. The exterior of the properties is lovely and it's such a shame that the interior doesn't match what you are expecting. The employees that we met were all lovely. We enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast which were part of our deal, so it was decent value for money.
Cons: The room was in desperate need of refurbishment, the bathroom in particular was disappointing - circa 1972. I really didn't want to spend any time in there it was pretty grim. Not dirty but just very old, some cracked tiles, etc. It also had one of those cream hairdryers attached to the wall that I haven't seen for decades! Took me over an hour to dry my hair!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pool
Cons: Breakfast was pretty expensive for a fairly basic spread
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, lots of stars and very quiet
Cons: Not very friendly personel (in the morning), the room without window - only the door thus not to safe to open at night

Pros: - Great rooms with a comfortable beds. - The hotel itself is beautiful - Quiet and peaceful location - Food was good at the hotel restaurant

Pros: The Logis was located at the top of the gorge with wonderful views. It was clean and comfortable with an excellent restaurant. We went there for the balloon festival and it was the perfect location with the balloons rising up from the valley floor and over our heads, it was magical. It is an easy walk into Rocamadour centre though you need to be reasonably fit as there are lots of steps.
Cons: Not much, the room was basic but perfectly adequate.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was exceptionnaly closed when we arrived, but it was easy to get the key. The bathroom was very tiny but ok. Nice room, good bed. The hotel has been restored lately. Free Parking at the back. We had a room in the back, and it was quieter than on the street (view).
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The room had everything we needed
6.7 Good
Pros: Nicely located close to Rocamadour main village. Good views across the road!
