Avalon Guest House is situated on a hill high above Amanzimtoti, with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and lush greenery in the valley below. The dining room at Avalon Guest House is especially comfortable, with its spectacular views of sea and greenery. There is also an honesty bar, swimming pool and Wi-Fi internet access throughout. Parking is secure, behind locked gates. Newly built, there are 8 double bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. There are 5 rooms with private entrances and 3 overlooking Hutchinson Park.
Fantastic. The people were lovely - very helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, great decoration. Staff - wonderful. Great place to stay - couldn't have been better. Breakfasts top of the range. Just great.
Quiet, private and very casual
Not walking distance from beach, but still good view of sea.
friendly stuff, always nice and clean rooms and a good breakfast like you want it ;-)
We arrived late to the Hotel with a warm welcoming reception from the hotel owners. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The rooms are reasonably sized and have all facilities. The owners kindly spoilt us with champagne and chocolates for our honeymoon - a lovely touch. The garden has a relaxing lounge and pool area. Would definately recommend.
Friendly staff and other guests.
The host and hostess (Paddy and Vanessa) go out of their way to ensure that your stay at Avalon is a very nice experience. The "Full English Breakfast" is excellent.
There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.
Great and helpfull staff! Nice rooms
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff as well as the comfortable room.
The owners of the Guesthouse were fantastic, so friendly, welcoming and they couldn't do enough to make our stay as easy as possible.
Privacy, access, efficient and professional reception. Accommodated out of hours breakfast.
The room was extremely noisy with visitors arriving during the night. The room was right next door to reception and interlocking door. Also, noise came from above (bar) with bar-stool (we think) making a horrible noise. Courtyard lights prevented good rest as did excessive noise. We thought the other rooms did not have the same disablement and would have been fine.
