Offering beautiful views of the Ionian Sea, Masseria Cielogreco is a historic farmhouse set in 80 hectares of private land. Located 800 metres from the beach, it produces its own olive oil, fruit and vegetables. Masseria Cielogreco is composed of the manor house, where the owners live, and other rustic buildings including the old stables. The apartments are all air conditioned and have a kitchenette and patio for outdoor dining. Surrounded by olive groves and pine trees, the farmhouse has a quiet setting 1 km from Amendolara Marina where you will find shops and restaurants. The ground floor of the manor house is now available for conferences, concerts and other meetings. Wi-Fi and parking are both provided free of charge and you can sample some delicious homemade food in the farm's kitchen.
Pros: the hosts, Teo & Rossana, they are the best in the world!
Cons: nothing to dislike, very good, just that it's not the best in the world
Pros: The scenery was beautiful. the owners were incredibly welcoming and treated us like family. Teo gave us a tour of their farm and a quick tour of the village. Rosanna is an excellent cook and delightful. We could not have chosen a better BnB.
Pros: Back home I still remember Rosanna's 'buongiorno!'. What did she take good care of us, together with Teo and their staff. The homemade meals and liqueurs were delicious. At this beautiful farm you constantly have seaview from above. We stayed in a very comfortable appartment, larger than we had booked and the terrace was wonderful. I cannot but confirm that the atmosphere was fantastic. It was nice talking with other guests and with Teo, who speaks English. We learned a lot about Italy. Some of the interesting trips we made along the coast were to Rocca Imperiale and Metaponto. We drove to the interior, to the Parco naz. del Pollino, visited Civita, Morano Calabro and went to the sanctuario at Cerchiara di Calabria. Driving to Matera and the Dolomiti Lucane was also possible, but we did this from our next place. It felt just great to be at this special place on the coast, I can recommend it!
Pros: Everything was fabulous but the best part was the overall experience - beautiful setting, beautiful home, beautiful people! I would go out of my way to return.
Pros: Hospitality ++++++. Vew. Food.
Cons: Please use Google map, not GPS.
Pros: Teo and Rosanna are living with their dogs and cats in a beautiful and peaceful place. Wonderful view to the sea. When we arrived had Rosanna done a wonderful and delicious dinner. At mornings did we enjoyed tasty breakfast. We did not feel hungry there. Teo and Rosanna, both was very helpful and kindly. If we ever go back to southern Italy, we will stay with them. We can strongly recommend their place to stay
Pros: I highly recommend a stay with this wonderful couple. They make you feel so special when it is really them that is special. They make you feel so welcome and at home.
Set in Roseto Capo Spulico, B&B Rosa dei Venti offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bidet. B&B Rosa dei Venti offers a buffet or Italian breakfast.
Pros: My stay at the B&B was beyond beautiful. The house is spacious and luxurious, great taste of furniture, comfortable bed, everything spotless and tidy. I was greeted with lovely hospitality, perfect service throughout my stay. The breakfast was tasty, I almost felt at home and as well included but the same time had my peace - which to me is the perfect mix. The nature in the area is incredible! Uphill a wast peaceful mountain view, scents of lemon and flowers, sounds of cow bells somewhere on the other side of the hill and a charming old village on top - whereas downhill you find a breathtakingly shimmering turquoise sea, an old castle with delicious food, flowers, palm trees and an endless beach! It was so beautiful that I spontaneously decided to extend my stay. One evening the family took me to another village for holiday festivities so I could experience the Calabrian lifestyle first hand. I travelled across Italy for months but never will I forget the time at Roseto Capo Spulico. I recommend staying for a couple of days to experience and take in all the beauty. But of course even a day will make you happy. A big thank you to the family for a perfect stay at the B&B! I will gladly return.
