Pros: Everything
Cons: None.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities in the hotel were excellent , the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us and the breakfast is out of this world..
Cons: The only let down was on the last day we had had a spa treatment and there was a misunderstanding surrounding the treatment we picked.. it was down to a poorly laid out poster and language barriers. We explained it to them man who was handling our bill but I found how he handled it was very dismissive and just called over the lady who booked the massage with us ( who was lovely ) and got her to explain to us the charge (which we already had figured out what happened with him). I just found she was embarrassed we were embarrassed and then he just handed us the bill to pay so We couldn’t explain our case any further .. just put a dampener on an otherwise excellent stay
5.0 Okay
Pros: It’s hard to note anything “special” or unique about Salinda. It was nice but very sub-standard.
Cons: The resort lacks atmosphere. It is located a good 20-30 minutes from any decent bars, restaurants or shops. Although it’s nice, Salinda is definitely not a 5 star resort. The beach doesn’t look like the photos and doesn’t appear safe. The breakfast was ordinary - you even have to make your own Vietnamese coffee.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great service. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
Cons: My view from the bedroom. Had a building in front of my room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything..loved the infinity pool and on-site restaurants.
Cons: The spa facilities charge to use the sauna and steam room were expensive even for hotel guests...Seemed excessive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and every thing are OK. Meals are good.
Cons: The password for WIFI is long and clumsy. It should be short and simple. Ideally one time of WIFI registration for the whole time that someone staying in the premise.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The people are amazing!
Cons: Pool bar was under renovation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is nothing to complain about Salinda. Service was great, staff were friendly and made me feel like home, and food was especially amazing and value for money. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and other travellers!
Cons: Nothing :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of choices and had great seating/view too. The pool and beach area staff were extremely helpful and quick. The rooms and corridors were beautiful! The staff at the reception was very helpful and recommended restaurants, excursions and booked them for us too. They upgraded us to a nicer room free of cost and we also requested them to change the dates of our booking (non-refundable booking) very last minute due to flight issues (With the help of booking.com) they showed their hospitality and exceeded our expectations without charging us the penalty!
Cons: We were not given a late check-out till 2 pm instead of 12 as they were fully booked which is understandable i guess but then they let us use their facilities till our flight time at 8 pm!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely AMAZING. This place was beyond beautiful. I could not fault the service, everyone working at the resort was lovely and went out of their way to help. Our room was very affordable, and so we weren't expecting too much, but the room was fantastic - Very clean, well-presented, and a very comfortable bed. The food prepared at the restaurants was excellent, and the decor at the restaurants was also very nice (particularly, the Italian restaurant). The breakfast buffet was massive and the best we had on our whole trip. The pool is exactly as it looks in the photos, and plenty of space around it for all guests. Everything about our stay was PERFECT.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa - Phu Quoc - Bedroom

9.3 Excellent (931 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Phu Quoc, Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa is in a rural location, a 3-minute drive from Vung Bau Beach and 6 minutes from Ong Lang Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request), and a ferry terminal shuttle is also provided at no charge.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the scenery and the beach was very quiet and perfect for relaxing. The staff were great and tried their best to help and support. I appreciated their attentiveness.
Cons: The food quality could be improved. Overall I found the food “meh”. I wasn’t blown away by anything and most dishes missed the mark especially for the price which are surprisingly high for VN. Breakfast is included and in my opinion was the best meal with lots of variety. The wine selection was quite nice. One note, we accidentally broke a ceramic Mug in our room and upon checkout was informed that we had to pay 6usd, I was appalled. Reasonable damage is par for the course in the hotel industry plus 6usd just seemed inflated so I protested and we did not incur the cost. After spending about a thousand USD for four nights (incl meals) the nickle and diming was a bit shameful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was included and was a buffet style that we really delicious - other food was good but higher resort prices. The rooms/bungalows are beautiful and comfortable, the property is gorgeous, the beach is small but lovely, you can rent snorkel gear and kayaks. great lounge chairs and pool. the outdoor shower and tub were really fun.
Cons: if you bring your own alcoholic drinks (like getting beer from a grocery store) and take them out of your room, they catch you and charge you a 'corking fee' which is really annoying. so either suck it up and pay for their drinks, or drink your own booze in your room. also the air conditioning can't be run while you're not in your room and it takes a bit to cool down so just be aware of that.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the setting. the eco friendly environment clean beach in comparison to outside the complex.. food was good
Cons: the £12 gin and tonics London prices on all bar drinks and restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service from every member of staff was exceptional, the food and choice was excellent and we hope to return again in the future.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very well-kept property, a little remote but I truly enjoy the tranquility.
Cons: F&B needs improvement. - They gave us wrong bill twice which we could have ended up paying 2,000,000 VND more - They serve us wrong food three times. One of them is when I ordered grilled chicken from kids menu for my child and ended up getting grilled fish with a big bone in it. Not cool! - I asked for a lunch menu only to find out they gave me a dinner menu
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The staff are fantastic, the hotel manager greeted us on arrival and was extremely accommodating throughout our stay. The service from all of the staff was first class. Breakfast was included and it was delicious, lots to choose from. Food and drinks were tasty & fresh and the beach & pool areas were spotless. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is very well kept. The infrastructure of the hotel is of high standard compared to what we have seen in Vietnam. I like the fact the hotel focuses on being sustainable offering paper cups and straws in stead of plastic ones. Also big big thanks to the guy who constantly cleans up the beach. I hope his hard work is recognized.
Cons: There’s room for improvement in there F&B. Breakfast was great but we had some issues concerning bills and orders for lunch and dinner, though they quickly solved the problems for us. Wifi should be made stable throughout the whole resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel! Wonderful breakfast! I forgot my Jewellery and without asking for it they gave it back to me at the reception just before we had to leave! The new family "bungalow" was so beautiful! The rooms were so spacious and bathrooms also. The outside shower was so beautiful and nice (cold sometimes tough!). We truly loved it!
Cons: It's a shame that the drinks and food are overpriced really plus it's quite cheeky because they know they are the only one around to serve you food or you need to rent motorbikes/take taxis. Disappointing "high standing" restaurant for what you actually get on the plate. A lot of persons (like us) were eating out of the hotel for lunch and dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place and service. We love it! Highly recommend it!
Cons: All hood
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Set in lush green gardens, this hotel lived up to and above expectations. I was upgraded to to beach bungalow and the room was exquisite, with an outdoor bath and shower, spacious balcony overlooking the sea, huge comfortable bed - this room was one of the best I’ve stayed in. The pool was amazing and beach clean with crystal clear water. This hotel was full on relaxation mode, peaceful and beautiful. I was at the end of a three week solo trip around Vietnam and just wanted to end with a few days relaxing by a pool. This place delivered, I didn’t leave the resort as it provided almost everything I needed :-)
Cons: Only a few minor things that might improve the place; level of English from most staff was less than basic. Not a huge problem but made some things difficult - I’d suggest staff over the phone or booking spa services to be able to speak basic level English given international clientele. As it the place is located well out of town, might be an idea to have a basic convenience store that sells snacks or basics like suncream etc. Not one to usually order room service, however travelling alone and having such a gorgeous room I wanted to chill and eat in the room a the options weren’t great - pasta and pizzas or noodles. More Asian food options would have been fab. I loved the stay as a solo traveller however if you are conscious of being around couples this may not be for you - seemed quite couple oriented.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room overall decoration and comfort.
Cons: Swimming pool water quality disgusting, cannot use it during my whole stay. A/C too noisy.

6.8 Good
Pros: The staff overall were very friendly. When I complained about housekeeping they were very receptive & promised to do a better job.
Cons: Housekeeping was a bit of a let down. The whole 3 nights my sheets did not get changed and everything was just strewn as if things were done in a hurry & my room only got cleaned in the evenings. We only got turned down service once. Our floors were sticky & sandy the whole time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly and responsive personnel. Ms Rigzin and colleagues did everything to make this stay most enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is rich and suitable for late birds:-) All facilities are clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere with live music for dinner and happy hour really great.
Cons: It would be convenient if the last shuttle back from downtown to the hotel could be later than 1845.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception upgraded our room to the nearest suite to the beach for free and we enjoyed it very much. The bed is comfortable, the shower is powerful, the breakfast gots variety of food, croisant, salami and fruits are my favorite. We love the lobster in the dinner, every meal we had were in the hotel, food was wonderful, no need to go out.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Luna spa and the pool were both excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was amazing! The View to the beach is the best, food is good and the staff so friendly. Will come back there for sure! Highly recommended!
Cons: Internet connection at the rooms could be improved :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -The view was amazing from the room -Room itself is spacious, well designed and comfy. -Pool area, bar and beach area is really good. It was not crowded and you could always get a spot by the pool. -Food at the restaurants was good as well. -You can rent scooters directly from reception. -Generally the staff were friendly and helpful. -It is a short drive from the town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Went for my honeymoon. They prepped a cake and wine bottle for us while we were out. Great experience. The pool is right beside the beach. Food was great and decently priced. Highly recommended. You won't regret
Cons: Checkin time was 2pm but we had to check out at 12. Usually hotels let you check out at the same time you check-in. Wasn't a big issue but threw us off a bit. Also the bathroom in our bedroom was very intrusive. You could hear everything if you know what I mean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and personal. Accomodation wunderful n clean. All good.
Cons: No negative comments at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff and the services here are just amazing. Every staff member is eager to help you and they will do up and above to make you feel wonderful. We let them know prior our arrival that this is our honeymoon, so when we got to the room they arrange it so beautifully for the occasion. Maria was the staffember that took care of us and she was so profesional and pleasant, she made our stay even better. The breakfast is very rich with a big variety of food. The food is fresh and tasty and you can order eggs in any form you desire. I drink only soy milk so they made sure to have it on the breakfast and in the bar so I could have my coffee in the morning. The pool is amazing with a nice bar inside the water, but the weather wasn't so great to enjoy it. YOU MUST TRY THE SPA!!! even though it is very expensive in comparison to other options around, it worth any vnd. The BEST experience in the world! The rooms are very comfortable and the design is amazing.
Cons: We did not have a chance to try the restaurants in the hotel, so we cannot recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the hotel facilities, very good breakfast spread n friendly n efficient staff. Complimentary rides to and fr airport. Rigzin attended to us very efficiently - she is very attentive ! taxi rides was affordable to town n everywhere - easily available with help fr hotel staff. The steam room was very nice. Cons: Breakfast was ok, more suitable for Western guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, friendly staff and relaxing a perfect holiday!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were staying at another hotel on the island and really not enjoying our time there. So on a spur of the moment decision, we checked out of there early and booked a last minute room at Cassia Cottage, and it truly turned our trip to Phu Quoc around! From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The service is outstanding there from the front desk to the pool and restaurant staff. The pools were clean and cool - perfect for warm days. We were only able to enjoy one (free!) yoga class but it was the perfect end to a day. The location was great as it's close to town but also at the end of a side road so it's very quiet and away from the noise of the main street. We were really pleased with the restaurant there. The breakfast included many options and dinner was excellent.
Cons: The beds were a little hard. Also, in general, there is too much trash on the beach and in the ocean (across the island). This hotel did a good job of trying to keep their beachfront clear, but there's just too much of it to deal with. We ended up spending most of our swim time in the pools.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were fantastic Staff went above and beyond Daily free cocktail Eco conscious resort
Cons: Price of drinks Firmness of matress
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. The restaurant food was excellent.
Cons: The beach in front of the hotel and either side was very disappointing - lots of plastic washed up on shore.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast and complimentary yoga classes!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The garden if no rain The foods
Cons: 1.A part of garden were flooded when it was raining, outside our room was logged so it’s dirty when go outside. 2.The receptionist was not hospitality. It was heavy raining When we were getting out of the car but she didn’t give me umbrella or help me get out luggage. 3.The water of the tap in bathroom was poor flow so I had to wait 1 min for using 1 min then repeat the waitting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt like staying with friends. Perfect staff, beautiful location. This is like paradise.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great resort. Our room was big, clean and really nice. The restaurant was really good but expensive (for Vietnam). There are cheaper Restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was great. I can also recommend the Spa. The yoga classes are relaxing.
Cons: A couple we met had one of the old apartments which was not that nice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay from beginning to end. The staff went over and above for making my birthday special as well as making our stay wonderful. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Our bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had beautiful pools to relax by and the beach just beyond the Infinity pool. There's lots things to do at the resort, and staff at reception were also able to book activities outside of the resort. The restaurant is amazing, with so many food options and so delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend Cassia Cottage.
Cons: The shower temperatures were inconsistent. Also, unfortunately due to weather and staff holiday, some activities that were advertised were unavailable.

Pros: Beautiful quite place with all comfort on the beach and friendly helpful staff
Cons: There were no issues which were unpleasant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach front location, hear the waves from your room, very quite yet reasonable distance to town (taxi easy with booking app +/- VND 120k one way), staff very professional, great breakfast both Vietnamese and international. The driver of the hotel is excellent and can take you around in a comfortable car at a reasonable price.
Cons: If you go during the rainy season, when it can pour down non-stop during days, the humidity level is extra high at that location because - obviously at the seafront - but also downhill and therefore a natural catchment reservoir. Better foresee anti humidifier provisions for your clothes. Otherwise really excellent establishment, perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay, Atmosphere and Food in Coco palm, But the food was not up to the expectation in the package we selected.(In the floating boat restaurant)
Cons: We dont like the food in the floating boat.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything is good. We spend a wonderful vacation there. The staff, The beach, The food, The view, are perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this property so much that we stayed an extra two nights! We had the beachfront triple room on the second floor, which is definitely the nicest one. The room is even nicer than the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, linens great, beach towels provided. The shower was great, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The entire staff was SO nice. You can walk to lots of cute little restaurants and bars, but the front desk will call you a cab when you want to go farther afield. They also rent motorbikes if you’re comfortable riding in Vietnamese traffic. :) The drink prices at the restaurant are very reasonable. No surprise charges! The beach is not large, but they keep it clean and have nice chairs with umbrellas. Good spot for swimming.
Cons: Nothing, it was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is like fantasy island. The woodwork is exquisite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing
Cons: Nothing we don't like

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect!
Cons: Personally I dont have anything to complain. But for those who want to explore the town center or other places in Phu Quoc, the resort may be quite far from them.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was awesome. The view and the amenities were everything you could possibly want. Don’t have a bad thing to say about the entire trip.
Cons: The gym was just ok. I would have liked more free weights and less machines but that’s the biggest complaint I can come up with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort was a beautiful little haven. People so happy and friendly
Cons: Everything was great
7.0 Good
Pros: room is big enough and staff is gentle and kind
Cons: but not enough manpower and wait for long lie up to check in. and check in time is too late 15:00pm. JW hired post university with low salary. that's why no experience to handle clients
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the interior of the resort, swimming pools are glamorous. Food is delicious and not expensive.
Cons: I do not like the exterior design/architecture of this resort. It does not fit the landscape of Khem Beach. The extreme noise from a Vietnamese guest table in Red Rum restaurant on the night we had dinner. The restaurant manager should have controlled these impolite guests as it would disturb the other diners who were enjoying the tranquil ambience of the sea & the restaurant. The staff in general are nice, but I feel somehow they are too young, not so attentive and not professional enough as they should be at a 5 star resorts as JW Marriott.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect beach nice staffs and very beautiful resort.
Cons: Raining a lot 55

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff in Club InterContinental. The food was great and the service, excellent. Room was exceedingly comfortable with very good bed.
Cons: The spa was average. I would expect stronger hands and more experienced staff, given the brand of the resort and the Spa.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an excellent 5 night stay here at the end of our 3 week trip across Vietnam and it was the perfect end to our trip! We stayed in a Club Intercontinental room which was worth it for the breakfast, afternoon, canapés & evening drinks included...we also ended up with the club pool to ourselves each day!! Wonderful, attentive & friendly staff, delicious food & cocktails and a wonderful resort! We also had an excellent, spacious sea view room!
7.5 Good
Pros: Absolutely faultless service and the hotel and facilities were amazing. As a solo traveller the staff took interest and looked after me so well.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Good finish on the hotel. The mercado is a great plus, things here are cheaper than the bar! The staff were very friendly and professional. There are various options for food at the hotel, I don't eat fish but I heard the Sea Shack is fantastic. They rent bikes out to you so no risk with renting them from a stranger. They were very accommodating when we asked them to book us another hotels restaurant one evening.
Cons: There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms, not the hotels fault but it was a battle. The restaurant food wasn't great. At night they seemed to have less english speakers working. The taxis they have waiting had a premium on top which is passed on to the customerz you are not just allowed to jump in one if it is dropping someone off. There is quite a bit of stagnant water around.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Stretching class and aqua gym class was really cool. Especially the teacher Claudia was very energetic and helped a lot for good pose of my body.
Cons: Not very satisfactory for the price. The staffs don't speak English very well considering international grade hotel and Korean staff was not so helpful neither very kind. Air conditioner was very weak and my husband was sweating for 2 nights. Does not provide shuttle bus if you dont buy the package which the transportation is included. Also somewhat noisy because of undergoing construction nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service is phenomenal. The staff at this hotel were top notch and went way beyond expectations. They actively engaged asking how our stay was going, if there is anything additional they could do to make it better. We felt as if we were surrounded by friends because they learned our names, we learned about their families and where they were from. It was incredible. The kids club was also amazing, they have different areas built around child development even a sensory play area! Even at breakfast there was a kids play area and a staff attending, I have never seen a hotel do that before and we all know parents need help with little attention spans at breakfast. Great idea!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic property, services and staff were excellent.
Cons: Isolated location and breakfast was a chaotic arrangement

Pros: - luxurious - value for money - friendly staff - bamboo straws - beautiful beach, cleaned several times a day - clean pool - modern and comfortable rooms - amazing food - no single use plastic toiletries
Cons: - no water filter available (plastic water bottles used instead)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: - Staff at the "reception" and "bell service" were very caring, hospitable and professional! Particularly, I was touched with a staff called "Phat" - Its isolate location and nice beach - Free bicycle rental service - Food at the on-site restaurant was yum!
Cons: - No recommendable restaurant or supermarket nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional hotel: amazing rooms, great food and cocktails, fantastic seafront and beach, and truly unbelievable sunsets and sunrises. If you want to escape the world and enjoy the nature, that's the place. Can't recommend enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where to start..? We arrived in the pouring rain and were welcomed by staff who met us at the car with umbrellas and warm smiles. Rather than just giving us the room keys Thuy walked us to the room (#23 with garden/ sea view) and showed us around all the facilities on the way. She and other staff checked in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We decided to stay here for some real R&R and that's exactly what we got. 10 metres to the main building (which housed reception, restaurant and little gift shop), swimming pool and the beach. Great massage therapist on-site, hammocks (yay! Don't worry they also have heaps of sunbeds) and seriously good food all made to order fresh onsite. If there's anything specific you want just let them know and they'll do their best to accommodate you. Pomelo salad with shrimp was amazing as was the Vietnamese pancake with mango for dessert!
Cons: We stayed here for a couple of nights after traveling all through Vietnam and absolutely loved it! There was nothing not to like, though if you want to be in the middle of it all this is not the place to be. 50 minutes drive to the airport, long beach (main tourist area) around 30 minutes drive. The only downside? We didn't stay long enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was superb, including the breakfast which was excellent.
Cons: There is nothing negative about this place, it was all good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The overall location is really nice and quiet ( at least during low season), perfect to relax for a few days. There are good breakfast options to chose from and always tasty fresh fruits. The room was also very spacious and comfortable with a very big shower. The nice pool is definitely a plus.
Cons: The only downside is the trash in the ocean and on the beach where the water starts. Even if the resort employs cleaners on a daily basis, all the garbage from the nearby beaches ( and it’s a lot!!) floats around, ending up here too. More care of the natural landscape and ocean should be taken as it’s definitely not attractive to swim.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was managed by very professionally and well trained staffs who were always ready to serve you with smile. Clean bright and spacious rooms with clean and super comfortable beds, great breakfast, day’s special lunch and dinner was great too...overall a great stay.
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most relaxing stay at Peppercorn. The beach was on the north end of the island and very quiet and private, which we really enjoyed. The pool was fantastic and the food was incredible! Definitely gourmet Vietnamese. The staff do an incredible job making you feel at home and taking pristene care of the property. We took the free rental bikes out one evening to explore the area and had an adventure. On our departure we were gifted some pepper and post cards. How sweet! Thank you guys (special shout out to That and Min). You guys are the best!
Cons: There wasn't much swimming area on the beach in front of the resort.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is far from the hustling bustling city center so it's great for those seeking an escape. The beach is 400m away and its clean and wide. There are two swimming pool which the kids in my family adore, too bad we couldn't do much swimming because of the rain. The room is very nicely decorated. Towels are changed everyday. Free supply of bottled water. Breakfast is refreshed every day. Staples are a stew, potatoes, bacon and sausages, Vietnamese soup, either fried rice or dim sum, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juices, tea and coffee, a salad section with ham and cheese. Omelette and pho are available on request. Also, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. They helped us to book the ticket for cable cars to Pineapple Island and introduced us around. There is a mini supermarket 20m to the right of the resort where you can get basically everything per snack, food, drink or toiletries. Great place to stay. Will go back next time with my friend.
Cons: I didn't expect it to be so far from the city center. If you're travelling with a rented motorcycle it should be fine, but I have a family of 5 and we took the taxi every day so it's quite costly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very good place with nice facilities and super helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel and it was free so you can’t beat it. The bar also made really good drinks that were much cheaper than local price with their amazing happy hour deals. Definitely will come again next time we are in Phu Quoc!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff who almost all spoke English. Fast WiFi everywhere and air con could be left on while I was out. Large selection for breakfast and clear, tasty dinner menus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice staff! Brand new and spacious room! Clean and big pool! Perfect location just few min walk to the beach. They have free bicycle and good motorbikes for rent.
Cons: This island have BIG trash problems. It is sad that there is no one thinking about the environment. The cleaning staff throw away our toothbrush and we had to use the one from the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and everyday we had to take a new thoothbrush, comb, razer... because they throw away. Even change all towels everyday use or not used. We talked to the reception 2 times but nothing happens. I just want everyone to help other people to understand, so we can keep this island beautiful without trash.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very helpful and cheerful. They make your holiday amazing and unforgettable. Highly recommend this resort to adult family cos resort facility is less accommodating little kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great. Food was amazing. Staff is very friendly and the service is very good. Im super satisfied during my stay. Worth every penny. Easy to communicate with the staff. English is quiet well. Have everything you need. Efficient.
Cons: Actually there's nothing they need to improve.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Communication was terrible. Very unprofessional. Dirty room. Bathroom smelt like a sewer
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff very polite, cheerful, helpful & able to speak English. Especially for those at reception & bamboo bistro.. Room spacious, comfy, clean & comes with mosquitoes net for bed. Overall I'm happy with my stayed!!
Cons: The beach slightly far than expected. Anyway, hotel provided with bicycles to use for free.. Hence, it's not an issue for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, near Coco Palm Beach, where you can swim and have an excellent dinner. The room looked great, especially loved the shower!
Cons: Swimming pool wasn't super clean in the evenings because of the mosquitos. Coffee at breakfast wasn't from the coffee machine, the milk was sweet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and well appointed villas, worthy of 5 star resort.
Cons: Safari and Vinpearlsnd attraction was too much to take up in one day. We went to Safari first by the time we got to Vinpearlsnd water attractions, we had about 15minutes before it closed. We would like to see the combo package to be taken across two days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Need more choices of restaurants and wide menu for room service!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely beach
5.5 Okay
Pros: Environment, green , friendly
Cons: Staffs communication is poor, most staffs don’t speak English, hard to communicate
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our oceanfront villa was beautiful and very comfortable. The family loved our private pool. And the staff was very welcoming, attentive and overall excellent. The shuttle was always very timely. Great service!
Cons: There was only one restaurant open and only offered a buffet. Although the food was very good, staff was excellent and room service was available, it would have been nice to have additional options. We did take the shuttle into town one evening and had dinner there. Maybe you should offer personal chef services and a food mart to pickup some food options.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room is exactly how it looks like on the picture. The room is big and clean.
Cons: The staff asked us about the transportation to the airport more than 3 times, and it took us more than three times for calling for room services. The internal information flow needs to be improved.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bangalow
Cons: Jelly fishes in water stinging children and myself, broken plastic pool drains cutting wife’s foot
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was so luxurious, everything was amazing. We loved our butler Phu Truong. He was so genuine and always happy to serve. We felt so pampered and Phu Truong was the bonus on top of a perfect holiday.
Cons: The plumbing in our bathrooms smelt off. We ate pizza at the a la cartel restaurant and the sausage was not nice, and I felt abit sick afterwards.

Pros: Good service

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the resort is right on the water’s edge. small & intimate. owners/hosts very courteous, professional & attentive. There are large rocks inthe water that you can wade out to & sit on. location is very picturesque. the owners provide a set candle lit table on the water’s edge for couples on their first night. Good drinks list.
Cons: The garbage floating in the water. too much.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Me and my girlfriend booked to stay at the Rocks Beach Boutique Bungalows for 2 nights out of our 5 night stay on Phu Quoc island. We honestly wish we had decided to stay there longer! As soon a we arrived we were greeted by Loan who showed us to our rooms. Instantly there were personal touches like how our names were written onto a chalkboard in the room welcoming us. A candle had been lit inside the room to make it feel cosy. The room was large with an en-suite, it had a rustic feel but it didn’t bother us. The bed was super comfy, a safe was in the room with adequate space for luggage and towels for both showering and the pool. The air con worked perfectly which made the room a cool temp when coming in from the hot outdoors. There are 4 bungalows at the resort, we were amazed to find out we were the only guests staying in our period so it was a real personal stay! The pool is just outside the bungalows, good size for the amount of people who would be staying. There are hammocks, deck chairs and 2 swings hanging from a tree looking out to sea, (perfect location for sun rise). The menu had a good variety of choice including both Vietnamese and western foods. We particularly loved the spring rolls and orange cheese cake! There is a table setup by the beach which is super romantic with candles around it..so nice! The breakfast menu was good too, made to order rather than buffet. Complimentary fruit plate was given for breakfast too, this had the best mango I have ever tasted!! All in all we would not hesitate to come back to this resort, if you are thinking about going definitely give it a go! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Loan and Peter!
Cons: WiFi connection was poor, this didn’t bother us at all, however it might be an issue for others. Location was a bit far out, again this did not bother us as we borrowed a moped from Loan to get around.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything, service is the best you can expect
Cons: All was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The food. It really beats everything else we've had on the whole island. Legendary spring rolls (especially fried), awesome potato chips and home made ice-cream to mention a few of what made us have all meals at the restaurant for the duration of our stay. Nice little pool and relaxing area. The hosts Loan & Peter and the staff are super friendly and really made our stay most pleasant. Thank you! Highly recommended!
Cons: The road that goes by right beside the bungalows gets pretty busy at times, especially in the morning. It's a pity on an otherwise peaceful environment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed three nights at this small 4 bungalow place and so far it is our favorite hotel on the island. It's quite the opposite from the busy Long Beach with just peace, quiet and total relaxation which we wanted. We didn't swim in the sea just the beautiful pool. The people running the place was very friendly and we had nice long talks and got to know a bit more about Vietnam. The food was amazing and we ate all our meals there during our stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loan is running a really nice and small resort. There are only four bungalows which are super clean, comfortable and pretty big. A nice pool is located in the middle of the resort. The entire staff is really kind and the meals are great. The resort is located a little bit away of everything so that you can relax and enjoy the ocean view calmly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the room, the bed, the bathroom, the breakfast, the staff, the garden, the swimming pool, the hammocks, the hotel in general. The price was high because of the quality of the accomodation and service.
Cons: The weather but that was nobody's fault!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personal excellent service, and very charming place with lovely owners. Restaurant was great quality with many options on the meny. The property was very nice and well kept with lots of attention to deatils. It had an exclusice boutique feeling.
Cons: Bathroom was located behind a glass wall in the mainroom without door so no privacy. Also a bit noisy in the room due to location close to the main road passing by.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool is great, very private with nice hosts. Can rent scooters for 200k a day although you can rent them for cheaper down the road
Cons: Price/performance is questionable. There are indeed cheaper alternatives basically just next to it, however, if you value privacy the rock beach might still be your beat bet. It's very close to the street which makes passing vehicles very noisy. No beach but not necessary with the nice pool imo. Breakfast is standard and could be improved. There is not much around so you will probably eat at the bungalow or in one of the closer hotels. The prices of the food is way above average but quality is also good. We opted to go to the banana hotel down the road twice whose food is arguably better in price/performance

Pros: Everything. Literally everything. The staff are unbelievable, the food at the restaurants are great and the spa services are awesome. They didn’t spare any expense making this hotel everything you want on a vacation. Total relaxation. A special thank you to our fusionista, Quyet. So many great recommendations. Cons: mosquito and everything slowly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was great and Staff fantastic and helpfull
Cons: Location beautiful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff here are very kind, friendly and helpful. You are assigned a “fusionista” which is someone to help you with any problem, enquires or literally anything at all. We were lucky to be assigned a man named Truong and he made our holiday so much better. Every-time I bumped into Truong he would make a lot of effort to make us feel comfortable and to see if we need anything. He helped us order food as room service, immediately had our air conditioning fixed when it stopped working and with the help of another kind and friendly staff member named Quyet (he often drove us around on the complementary golf buggies) came to give me first aid when I (very cleverly) managed to cut my leg open by kicking the side of the pool. I had a small problem before arriving at the hotel where I received an email telling me my booking may be cancelled (I had already paid), I phoned them and fixed this issue fairly quickly and when I got to the hotel Ms. Lam upgraded my room, gave us a free shuttle to the airport when we leave and also let us stay for an extra 1/2 day (late check out) to apologise for their minor mistake. They really went above and beyond to make us happy. The food here is fantastic. We ate in our rooms for dinner most nights as my wife was working online in the evenings, and we were always happy with our meals. The breakfast is buffet style and there is plenty of choice. The buffet is high quality unlike a lot of buffets I have visited. You can have 2 massages every day. They masseuses do their best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed and my wife and I really enjoyed our massages. My wife is currently pregnant and they have a special massage just for pregnant ladies. Overall we had the best holiday you can imagine here and we hope to return in a year or so

Pros: Location, staff, room , bed

Pros: The gardens The mosquito nets over beds The massage was excellent One of your staff was very kind when she found out I had an upset stomach and organised ginger tea, bananas ( even after a previous waiter had said there was none. Then she even came to our room to make sure I was ok. I wish I remembered her name but she worked at reception and was in the restaurant.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was too westernised There was no rice noodles or even Pho on the soup list. I’m Gluten Free and it would helpful to have some options noted or even just use rice noodles. Open air bathrooms are beautiful but the mosquitoes weren’t.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are super nice, room is clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed my stay in the villa, the outdoor shower was excellent. The resort was very well taken care of, it was green and lush. The staff was always available to help you with bags or drive you to the restaurant or the reception desk. The buffet was fantastic but the meals at the restaurant were small for the price. The cocktails were excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in a great location, the rooms were very comfortable with a beautiful outdoor bathroom and great balcony to relax on in the afternoons. The pool and all the facilities were perfect. We ate breakfast each morning which was delicious. We also had a couple lunches which were also good. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this resort for a stay in Phu Quoc.

Pros: The upgrade to pool with villa since the main pool was closed, but also the personel, , all of them were very nice and helpfull
Cons: Location is secluded, a good thing the restaurant offer great food and great selection
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, the resort as a whole was beautiful and staff attentive.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location, the small private beach, the sea view bungalow with a massive bathtub on the porch. The staff: all friendly, polite, 100% professional, always ready to help. And above all... THE FOOD. We had our dinner at the hotel restaurant every day, as after trying their stuff on the first night we were not even tempted to venture outside. The portions were huge, the dishes fresh, fragrant and full of classic Vietnamese flavours. We tried seafood, Pho Bo, Pho Ga, Bun Cha, Beef Stew, Wild Pig stew... the list goes on - and everything was really good. Cannot fault the breakfast buffet either. We left the place happy, relaxed and a few pounds heavier.
Cons: Nothing. One point I would make is around the rubbish on the beach, which to be fair is in no way the hotel’s fault (and staff make every attempt to clean it multiple times a day): the plastic floating on the waves is a sad reminder of the role we all play in slowly turning our planet into a big mountain of waste. Let’s not forget the plastic bottles we use, will one day wash up on the beach. The hotel does adopt a no plastic approach, hopefully they keep up the good work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so accommodating and helpful. I loved my jacuzzi room. The room was comfortable with a great view. Everything about my stay was great!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Unprofessional manager and staff. The manager need to learn how a good manager should be.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place, even better than expected
Cons: nothing, everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location...it is a reclusive place, away from the noise of the town, perfect to rest your mind and soul... The room was very clean, the breakfast delicious...at the restaurant the food was good and plenty...
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that like 10 meters away from the private beach there was garbage, maybe plastic brought by the sea...but, still...it should be cleaned...it’s just not esthetic or healthy for the ecosystem...
5.5 Okay
Pros: Over price for the quality of the place. Far away from the city Restaurant and drinks extremely expensive
Cons: Beach was dirty
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The service at the beach chair. The staff are more attentive.
Cons: The service is not up to mark as the staff is inflexible. It was raining most of the time of my stay and the staff insist that we refill our drinking water at the unshaded water station outside despite the rain. The excuse was they dont provide bottled plastic water due to environmental conservation. They don't refill food during breakfast despite reminders unless you insist on it. We asked for a change of room to stay near to each other but was not entertained at all. We have a 2 room villa, a jacuzzi villa and a normal room for 8 pax. Water sports was reduce to only kayaking during the low season.

Pros: Good view ~^^ And good mind Staff^^
Cons: I had dinner at a restaurant. I ordered banana juice, but it was not banana juice. The banana flavor was nowhere to be found. So I asked the staff and they said there was no problem with banana juice. And there was no word of apology. Just offered to give me a new banana juice. I didn't order juice for free. Since I paid for it, I want to eat delicious banana juice. The new juice tasted so good. For example, if you gave me bad quality banana juice, you should have apologized to me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great; plenty of choices. Extra good yoghurt. Beautiful beachfront room overlooking the pool was amazing. Excellent staff; Nancy from Customer Services and Hai in the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are amicable; the view of the beach-front villa is splendid. The breakfast is excellent and well prepared. The location is O.K. Total recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very polite, understanding and accomodative to our request. The resort was clean, facilities were good, view was nice and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Everything was requested to be paid for and the management seemed very calvulative and not flexible eventhough we were already spending a lot at the resort and took 6 rooms in total. Moving in and out of the resort was not easy as nothing was walking distance and to go out, we had to pay for a taxi. There was no iron facility and we had to pay again for pressing. Considering the amount we spent for the total of 4 days we hoped the management could be more accomodative to provide us a satisfying experince but overall all discussions were dissapointing since it was always not very accomodative from the management end.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good, the staff (especially the staff), the view, the food.
Cons: The location is a bit far from the central but only about 20 min bike ride.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The stay was perfect! love the surrounding and atmospheres. quite and tranquil for a relaxing stay. very friendly staff and taking good care of us, Even tho is deep inside the villages but very thoughtful provide free bicycle or if want to go city, just rent a bike. an experience like how local do, that what traveling is all about.
Cons: There is no sand beach BUT.... there is a hidden pathway to a nice beach near CAMIA. we use the bicycle and go thru a narrow pathway to another paradise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good. The place and the personal really good. Nancy was really kind with us taking in account all of needs living there. If you want to visit Phu Qouc, you need to go to Camia. Another thing is you want to visit some place in the island ask in reception for Hao, he is really nice guide and you will have a very good experience visiting the island. Thanks a lot for everything
Cons: Nothing

Pros: We stayed 4 nights in this fantastic hotel. Our room was very comfortable with a wonderful view on the sea, both in the room and the bathroom. The breakfast buffet and the food is awesome, and the staff lovely. I really recommand this hotel, it’s a peaceful place, perfect for taking a break.
Cons: Everything was so good, I don’t have bad comment to write.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great sunsets. First night in a family room had an issue with a leaking pipe that kept turning on the pump.. Immediately moved us to an Ocean View upgrade.. Thank you Miss Nancy and the girls at reception..it was a wonderful 7 days and 6 nights.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was great. It exceed my expectation. It was actually far from main town. It's good should you wish to have the quiet and private place. The Spa was good and you may give it a try
Cons: The sea view room is different with the garden view. It's air ventilation is bad and leave a smell in your room. The entrance to the hotel is quiet narrow. Please make sure the hotel prepare a transport to pick you up should the bus driver/trip driver refuse to send you in.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The premises are deliciously quaint with remarkable grounds very well kept and most attentive and professional staff. The Spa is worth the detour where the atmosphere adds charm to our pampering. The free airport transfers are a most-appreciated delicate attention.
Cons: I would only recommend that guests be provided with an easy-to-read card for taxis indicating --in Vietnamese-- the exact location and providing a map. Such would avoid difficult discussions with drivers hardly English-speaking and not always aware of addresses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After a disastrous 4 days at another hotel down the road from La Veranda. We decided to move hotels. On early arrival at Least Veranda we were greeted with smiles, ice cold glasses of tea & cold flannels to hep us cool down by the front of house staff. Then lead to the hotel bar area to complete our check in. We had arrived 2 hours earlier than the allowed check in so we knew the room we had booked (garden view villa) was not going to be ready which was fine with us. Check in all completed we were given our room number & decided to eat at the hotel for lunch by the beach front. Half way through lunch we were advised they our allocated room was not going to be ready & that we had been booked into another room, well actually we had kindly been upgraded to an ocean view villa & advised of our new room number and that the room was ready whenever we were ready. Lunch finished we checked into the room. The villa was amazing beautifully decorated in old style French colonial, super comfy bed too. The hotel staff go the exta mile to ensure you are enjoying your stay. I assume it was the hotel manager (didn't catch his name) spoke to all guests daily to see if there was anything they needed & asked about their day. The restaurant maitre d was very friendly & well versed in the menu & appropriate wine to have with your meal. Food & drink at the hotel both in the beach bar area & restaurant are top notch. Well presented, very flavoursome. Ok so its not cheap by Phu Quoc standards but true me paying that little bit extra was well with it. Thank you to all the staff at La Veranda for making our stay in Phu Quoc very memorable.
9.3 Excellent

Cons: Bed and pilllows could have been better.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely rooms and staff

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole resort look and feel was beyond expectations. The staffs were very accommodating and room had all essential you can think of , comfy, cosy facing the beach. Breakfast was really good and dessert was super! If u are into a private quiet type of holiday with a beautiful soft sanded beach in Phu Quoc, I would truly recommend La Veranda
Cons: Could have a wider food selection
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super charming hotel. Understated design that is really well done. Great location on beach and near town. Beach and pool facilities are kept clean. Lots of little surprises during the stay from music to happy hours. The staff really cared and was thoughtful without being intrusive.
Cons: T
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Veranda is a beautiful Colonial style hotel with lush gardens, stunning ocean views and an all round relaxing feel to it. Coming back into the resort from the outside world seems like coming home. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much. One of my favourite things about La Veranda is sitting on the Veranda watching the view change at different times of the day. Sunset in particular. The food at Peppertree was wonder and a short walk down the beach to Spice House is nice thing to do. A must is seafood at the night market, it is cheap, chaotic and fun. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay and is my second time in 4 months. I will be a regular. Thank you Marshall, you have a great team.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and serviceminded staff, however, their english weren't the very best. Nice and relaxed ambience. Nice pool- and beacharea.
Cons: The cleaning could be more accurate, and the mosquitos were very annoying. The soundisolation weren't the best.

Pros: Pool was fantastic and room very comfortable. Location was great, quiet resort but plenty of bars and restaurants very close by
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely and the facilities were really well maintained. Some good bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel too.
Cons: We expected a fully functioning spa from the advert on the website. However, when we went to book in for a couples massage they had to call in a lady from outside of the complex and could only find one. She was okay but kept answering the phone during my massage, we had to go separately and it wasn’t cheap for the quality we got.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly, place is clean and comfortable environment. Room is uniquely designed and nice.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is situated in a nice green quiet garden. It has a big nice swimming pool. The (small) beach is only 200 metres away. There are several restaurants and bars nearby on walking distance. The small village is small, probably around 15 different restaurants/bars, some supermarkets and one of the best (expensive) restaurants on the island Mango Bay is around the corner. Rented a motorbike for 150K and toured the whole island. In low season there aren't many tourist on the island, but after the rain, there comes the sun :) I think this is in the top 3 of spots to stay on the island.
Cons: Please, stop serving sugar water like many hotel do for breakfast. Fresh juice is the way to go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly ppl , very nice & clean environment , beautiful outdoor, near by beach and easy access to everything, i think it is the best hotel on that village compare to others
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Isabella was almost perfect for us, and all the staff were incredibly helpful, from Tham, Julia, Nguyet and Alex. The hotel was quiet (low season), clean, ideally located, the gorgeous beach is 5 minutes away. I was celebrating my birthday and they made sure I got a birthday cake, which it was beautiful and tasty! Overall, we loved Isabella and recommend it.
Cons: The only thing that could've been better was the mattress,(too firm) but I want to point out that we did not mention this to anyone during our stay (small issue).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The resort is amazing. Very clean, big pool, a lot of plants, very attentive staff. Great service, we loved it. It is also very close to he beach. Good breakfast too.
Cons: Personally I thought the bed was too hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great resort close to beach. Big pool Friendly staff. Big room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was very big and comfortable. And the room was very clean. Stuff was also nice. Everything was fine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Resort is near to the beach and the place is just quiet and cozy. We were lucky that able to view the sunset from the beach, it was so beautiful but do remember to walk through the jungle. Very helpful staffs from front desk to kitchen, customer service were excellent and the day trip recommended was good with reasonable price especially the beach recommended by Julia, I love it so much. Definitely will share Isabelle Resort with our friends who is going to Phu Quoc next weeks.

Pros: Staffs were nice. My room was lagre and clean with woderful view of dusk. The resort is next to the Ocsen pub, so i was enjoy swimming and drinking beer over here.
Cons: The private beach is quite small. However it links to the beach of several resorts, so it was ok for me
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a 2-bedroom family villa which has a common area with table and chairs, 2 bathrooms and a steaming room. The property is new and clean. We got all necessary utilities. Soft drink and snack are given free of charge. Overall, I like the villa’s decoration, design and location. We only need to walk for about 1 min to the beach. There is a swimming pool as well but the water isn’t very clear. Breakfast was okay (I am very easy with food tbh
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, nice balcony
Cons: Breakfast could be better
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Big comfortable rooms, soft beds, very clean and well kept. Buffet breakfast was tasty with good variety, eggs prepared as you like and waffles and pancakes with Nutella and maple syrup was a highlight. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well stocked gym room however very cramped, too much equipment for the size room.
Cons: Construction happening next door was noisy early in the mornings and dust blew onto the balcony onto our clothes drying there. The breakfast is only open until 09:30 which was a bit earlier than most hotels. Swim up bar in pool not functional.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: -Spacious and clean room. -Comfortable bed. -Location is good, not far to the phu quoc town and night market, as well as close to the airport. -Friendly staff
Cons: Small swimming pool, breakfast choices can be improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I stayed three days at a two bedroom villa, so my experience might be different from a hotel customer. I got the impression that the whole place is very well managed, filled with friendly and helpful staff and is worth the price. The villa was very spacy, and it had two bedrooms and bathrooms - perfect for family of 3 or 4 - though you should climb stairs to the bedrooms. From the Cho Dem night market to the hotel costs about $2 or so. There are many places to eat around a couple of minutes ride away. They serve some good variety of breakfast with balanced hot & cold meals and nice coffee. The seaside swimming pool allowed us to enjoy great family time in clean water, and its proximity to beach is appealing, though the beach was not the best i've seen.
Cons: The villa seemed to have three major problems. First, the second floor shower didn't drain very well. Second, it took 5-7 minutes for the hot water to run, so mostly I just took a lukewarm shower. Third, there's a beach bar right next door, so I could hear the constant thumping noise well into the night. It was a small but irritating noise. I think these problems doesn't apply to hotel rooms. And like others said, the beach certainly has some ugly sewage outlets directed right into the ocean, but a swimming pool facing the beach was just enough for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent. Breakfast had different menu each day. Pool great. Hotel only had a few guests in it when we stay and had the whole floor to ourselves.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Not good drain water in shower room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: nice private beach and swimming pool, staff was friendly and supportive
Cons: should have flexible option for family with kids airport pickup was expensive
7.5 Good
Pros: The room is quite big and clean. Breakfast is nice and the staff are very friendly and they made excellent vietnamese coffee. John's tour is very close (5 mins walk) to the hotel which you can book local day tour.
Cons: The gym has nothing like the picture they showed. It is very small and packed. I actually book the hotel because of the gym. However, there is a local gym not far away which is around 2usd per visit. Construction going on around the building so your shoes will get dirty if you go in/out.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities, staff were very good. Beach was good with different swimming pool options and a good gym
Cons: Felt it was expensive for Vietnam but it was a very good resort
5.0 Okay
Pros: just as normal
Cons: not much activity during the staying
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great pool and amenities, lovely rooms, great location if you want to go to the zoo safari and water park (which are all fantastic). Not a lot of food options however the buffet had a massive variety including fresh pasta etc made to order. So whilst it’s the same basically every day (with some variations) there is plenty to keep you happy for a few days no issue.
Cons: Some people had all inclusive deals that we were unable to get as you had to be from certain countries (different to full board). We were treated a bit like the underclass when we tried to get drinks. Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: You’ve got everything you need for a perfect holiday. The staff was helpful and nice. Diversity in entertainment. The tuk-tuk services were very convenient. Free airport shuttle service.
Cons: The Akoya spa was an amazing place but the massage skill left room for improvement.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view outside of our balcany is fantastic, we can see the beach, the garden and the Vinpearl land. The staffs are nice and friendly and even their English is not so good, they are still trying to solve our problems. My son had a fever during our stay and it's very easy to get in to the clinic in the hotel and measure his temparature, but they don't have any medicines for babies and if you have little babies who are sick, you need to go to the hospital nearby. We also enjoyed a great time in the hotel beach and pool, the sea and beach are clean and good for swim. Also it's great that they provided the free shuttle services from and to almost anywhere in the Island. The hotel itself is very far from the airport and downtown area and this shuttle services solved all the problem!
Cons: The facilitis in the room are not enough. I can't even find a power outlet to charge my mobile. And the hair dryer is broken. Also they don't provide bathrobe and slippers for kids. The foods are also not good enough for a 5-star hotel. We had the full-meal package and the difference of three meals are reletive small. They only offer juice for breakfast and the choices of desserts and local style foods are very limited. Also, Vinpearl land and the safari are not good choice if you stay only for two nights. These two places are very very small and not too much interesting things to play and visit. If you buy combo tickets from the hotel, you can only go to the two places in the same day, and it's really a rush if you also booked the full-meal package.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lake like swimming pool, beautiful beach
Cons: Location, too far from center
7.5 Good
Pros: - food without taste - every vietnamese soups (pho, hủ tiêu, bún bò huế came from the same broth without taste .
Cons: Foods
10.0 Excellent

Cons: stronger hair dryer

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The food was wonderful and the staff incredible. The location is unbelievably beautiful.
Cons: This place doesn’t have a/c or a pool, but that’s part of the point and it’s unique beauty. It has the best beach so there’s no need for a pool and the eco cabins make it a very special experience, but in terms of comfort, this place isn’t for everyone. We loved it, but we weren’t looking more for a unique experience than for the lap of luxury.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - peaceful and quiet - nice loungers - relaxing hammock - enjoyable beaches and beach-restaurants
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Mango Bay has always been our favourite destination on Phu Quoc. Best restaurant on the island for location and flavour and always friendly staff. The resort is laid back and a great choice if you just want to relax without all the superficial flash in other resorts. Excellent massage.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The food and the staff in the resort and at the beach restaurant were excellent.
Cons: The mud road leading to the restaurant was mucky and slushy. So every time you went to Restuarant your feet, clothes would be splattered with red soil. Being from a village myself this was very discomfortable. The staff uses 2 mosquito coils in the room to avoid mosquito. These are meant to be used for half an hour in the evening whenever the mosquito gets in. Instead it was left on for the entire night in the smallest room that I stayed in. I had terrible discomfort and suffocation . Even though I put off one I didn’t realise there were two in the room as they were put in containers . There are no phones and you can’t reach out to the hotel in this state. And it was pouring heavily outside that I couldn’t even step out if my condition got worse. Mosquito coil is poisonous especially if you have kids . And the resort was filled with kids. There was almost a sprinkler like thing from the roof once it started pouring heavily. The resort is promising provided they put in some effort into these little details . I would never go back or recommend it to anyone . Had two sleepless night because of the mosquito coil.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much, despite the bad weather. The Vietnamese and European food was excellent and the service even better! Thanks to all at Mango Bay for making our stay so enjoyable.
Cons: The weather, due to the rainy season.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent choice and quality of food, friendly efficient staff, good beach with cleaner water than in most SE Asian resorts, rustic feel of the resort
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms... perfect private beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Like a little paradise on the beach front surrounded by tropical plants, birds and geckos (lots of geckos! But that’s ok, they eat the mosquitoes!). This place gave the feeling of calmness. The rammed earth bungalow was great. Outdoor bathroom was so good, private and water pressure was great. They also serve a really nice breakfast in the beautiful restaurant. The staff were great. We sat in our bungalow verandah when a storm was rolling in and it was just epic!
Cons: There was no fridge. I understand that they are going for an eco low energy usage angle but it was annoying to have to constantly ask for ice for the “cooler box” (esky). If insects and huge geckos and spiders bother you (didn’t bother me) then this is not the place for you. I got absolutely covered by mosquito bites on the first night! But they do provide insect repellant for you. The bicycles they have to use are really bad! Tyres almost flat. Gears not working. Rusted all over. That was kind of annoying. Also the property is a fair way from town and the taxis are not all that cheap.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is fantastic. Could not ask for better service, the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting, gorgeous beaches and lovely restaurants. Possibly the best hotel breakfast I've ever had!? Perfect place if you want a getaway and don't fancy doing much else
Cons: The only tiny thing was that the temperature of the shower was a little difficult to control.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, from the breakfast to the yoga in the morning and the SPA. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed. The staff is incredibly polite and always ready to help. The resort is the perfect place for an escape from the city. I really recommend it to anyone who needs to disconnect from a very busy life. Will definitely go back to Mango Bay!
Cons: Nothing.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice location, great for watching sunset. The beach is quite rocky
Cons: There is no AC, and there’s mosquitoes everywhere, we used the net, but that made the fan useless. It was warm and not that comfy to sleep We booked for 4 nights, but wanted to check out after 2 nights, we didn’t have any refund for the remaining time.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Loved the laid back, rustic character of this place. The resort restaurant was very good -- food and ambiance (deck right on the oceanfront).
