Pros: Carlo runs a great property and is incredibly helpful. Some of the best communication I have ever had with a host. He went out of his way to help us on finding out about our ancestry ties to the area and wanted to make sure he had exhausted all of his possibilities. He is very knowledgeable about the area and has a wide range of local contacts to fill in any gaps. The property and rooms are modern and very clean. This is well maintained place and since it is a family property, it is run with care and pride. When booking, Carlo was very quick to respond to my questions. I selected the bottom floor unit that had two rooms with a shared bathroom. This was perfect for myself and my mother and father. There is also a top floor unit and a middle level “family unit”. When we arrived, we had lunch at a small cafe and Carlo and his father came to greet us. He led us to the property and was only a call/text away if we needed anything. We decided we needed coffee mugs and he made them available to us that day. Carlo was also proud to show us the bedroom furniture, which is from his family, is antique and very beautiful (and of course, very well made!). The rooms were very quiet and people staying in the same unit will not bother each other with noise. There is a small picnic table area next to the driveway and we brought our own breakfast for the mornings and entertained distant relatives with wine and cheese in the evening. If you have the time, ask about the small museum around the corner in the square. It is dedicated to the work of Carlo’s Grandfather and a must see. Years of incredible work to create replicas of the town’s buildings, including a scale model of the original property and how it was set up as a family home. The model of the town church is so exact, that a picture taken through it’s little front door will replicate a picture taken in the real one just steps away. Carlo’s father runs the museum and is eager to open it and show you the intricate pieces.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: If your looking for a true Italian place to stay this is it! So peaceful and beautiful. Carlo was fantastic, very helpful. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend!
Pros: This was the 2nd time I stayed at Nonna Leni and I'm looking forward to staying there again! The accommodations are outstanding, comfortable and spotlessly clean.Fantastic views of the mountains located in a beautiful town. Carlo's warm hospitality and thoughtfulness created the perfect experience.
Cons: There's nothing more I could have asked for.
Pros: Beds were comfortable and the apartment clean and modern. However the roof sloped from the center so it was difficult to move around the accommodation.
Cons: The accommodation was advertised as having a refrigerator, a kettle and a view. The refrigerator did not work but Carlo did replace it when asked. There was a kettle but nothing else. No cups or teaspoons. He did bring us cups, spoons etc when we asked. The only way to see a view was to lie down on the floor or put your head out the skylight while standing on the bed. The sloping roof meant that movement around the apartment is very difficult and we kept bumping our heads on the roof.
Pros: The apartment was lovely and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were really nice
Pros: The place is not suitablefor family with children. There is not television, no restaurant open. There are no attraction for children.
Cons: Realy small town. Nothing much to do around. We looked for open restaurent and find zero between 15:00 to seben oclock.
Pros: We loved staying there. It was very close to our family and had great WiFi service
Pros: The village, authentic building and inners, other villages nearby Frisanco, beautiful environment, historical stories about Frisanco
Cons: There was no ...

Pros: The hotel offered everything I needed. The rooms were very clean and I appreciated that they were cleaned daily with nice fresh towels. The breakfast was very nice and served for a nice amount of time each morning. Vajont is a very small town, but the hotel is in the most convenient and desirable part of town. Thank you!
Pros: I chose this hotel at the last minute in order to get warm and dry after getting caught in a snowstorm on my motorcycle. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful; when I discovered there was nowhere to eat in town, he cooked me some Penne Arriabiata. Whilst I wouldn't choose to stay here again, due to its location and the lack of facilities nearby, it was most welcome!
Cons: No restaurant on site or in the town.
Pros: Owner gave us a service that was royal. Room were clean and in top condition. Really a good place to visit.
Pros: The hotel is located in a very calm village, there is a nice pizzeria in 2 km. The room was big and clean, parking in front of the hotel, easy check in, very friendly staff. The breakfast was good, typical sweet Italian. Overall good value for this price.
Cons: The shower cabin was moldy, the toilet brush must be replaced it was very stinky, breakfast included too many sweet dishes for me.
Pros: Unlimited fresh and warm croissants each morning, proffesional and pleasant staff and big nice rooms with a balcony.
Cons: Shower cabins are very tiny and I ended up bumping into the doors every time.

Pros: I had a great stay at B&B IN FATTORIA. Breakfast prepared just for me in the kitchen belonging to the booked room. Very friendly owner, even booked for me a dinner in a fantastic restaurant nearby. Pity I couldn't stay longer and profit of the beautiful landscape.... Fantastic value for money!
Pros: We've been just 2 nights here to discover the mountains, it's a lonesome, romantic farm in the Dolimite Alps. Lots of animals arround. The owners are very friendly and attentive, giving You suggestions and helping You anytime. Lots of information material is provided too. They even asked before arrival about special needs for breakfast like glutenfree or s.th. like that and we got good instructions on how to reach the destination via E-Mail and Whatsapp before arrival. Thanks a lot! Everything was like described on booking.com.
Cons: Not a big thing..it's just a point of personal liking, the apartement is located under the roof with small windows. In general it's quite dark inside even when the sun is shining outside.
Pros: Friendly, helpful hosts
Pros: Paradise in an absolutely beautiful location. If I’d had the time I would have stayed longer. The owners were the most laid-back and welcoming people you could hope to meet. Upon arriving, my motorbike was tucked away for the night in their workshop; beers and coffee followed! Certainly one of the nicest places I have stayed in my travels in Europe.
Cons: The angled ceiling in the bathroom is awkward for a 1.86m tall person like me.

Cons: Nothing everyone was pleasant and accommodating.
Pros: The rooms are massive. Nice and clean
Pros: Staff at this hotel are welcoming, very helpful and the food is Superb a lovely family run hotel. Very clean and our room overlooked the square with stunning views.
Cons: I liked the property if I had to say something I didn’t like that there wasn’t any coffee or tea in rooms but you can get them downstairs in the cafe

Pros: Great bathtub in the junior suite and a very good bed
Cons: We where given the wrong room 2 times in a row. Booked a junior suite, where given the most basic room. After seeing the room asked again for the junior suite, where given a normal suite with a small bathtub. This gave a very strange impression. The breakfast is decent but not on par with the price, its difficult to get a coffee refill let alone find someone to provide the coffee or tea.
Pros: The grounds and interior decor is simply beautiful! Well located near the square activity’ and restaurants. Walkable distance from the train station.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! Loved the prosciutto especially. The bed was comfy and my room was spacious. Bathroom was clean! Would stay here again next time I need to visit maniago!
Cons: Wifi was very slow :(
Pros: Our last night we were tired and wanted “comfort food” for dinner. The chef prepared us soup and salad. It was fabulous. Staff was so accommodating and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.
Cons: All was good, don’t have any suggestions
Pros: The staff were friendly attentive and very professional and never condescending as we have found in some hotels. Would certainly return there again.
Cons: Not being able to stay a few days longer.

Cons: The check-in was a mess as we were relocated to a different room than we booked. Bathroom was outside the room and it remained unclear if it was private or shared. Location was awful - there are much better options in the region. We had reservation for two nights and in the morning following our first night a staff member came knocking on our door as if she was trying to break into room whistle repeatedly screaming we had to leave the room even though we were showering. Once we explained we had booked for two nights she simply said “ok”, as if it was no big deal. After this event we simply left the place even though we paid for two nights. Room is dusty, so beware if you are allergic.
Pros: Friendly staff, the room was very nice and big. I came to the breakfast a little bit late because I wasn't able to figure out when it was, but they waited with clearing it away until I was done, which was great.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't very good, just a lot of pastries
Pros: everything exceeded my expectations, very clean and comfortable, quiet and lovely location. very good breakfast and will certainly stay there again.
Pros: Nice place to stay, my second stay there.
Cons: We were at breakfast around 8:30 and there was nothing to eat.
Pros: The location was perfectly for my needs. The rooms were SPOTLESSLY clean with very modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. By far the best part was the friendly and helpful staff. I definetly well return there.
Pros: Very clean rooms but invaded by stink bugs.
Cons: Stink bugs
Pros: Authentic experience, nice staff, great food and rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was great and they added some salty options (cheese, ham,... probably after previous comments here). Diner was delicious!!!
Cons: the owner is very friendly but only speaks Italian. Fortunately there was a very sweet customer who helped with translations and made the communication possible. Also the breakfast was too early : from 7.30 to 8.30. Which can be hard when you’re on holidays.
