Cons: It would be nice to be able to check in before 6 pm but as this is essentially a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel with a restaurant, we can understand why this is.

Pros: The owner/manager was fantastic, welcoming and helpful. We loved the closeness to the town centre and the beach. We appreciated the free parking. Just loved the area - we spent many enjoyable hours watching the people on the beach and walking along the seashore. The room was fresh and clean, not overdone. We liked our small balcony area outside; also appreciated the roll-down shutter that let in air but gave us security when the doors were open. Loved the family atmosphere in the dining room; thought the food was excellent, especially the fish dishes and liked the fact that it used regional ingredients and generous portions.
Cons: Would have liked to hire beach towels. Coming from Australia we didn't expect to have to carry such items - we had to buy one in the town. Also couldn't find a hand-basin in the heated pool area.
