Proximity of the hotel to the old town.
Hotel was expensive. Room was very small. Shower not up to date and bathroom could do with an update. Spa was not as good as the photos made out
Good access, free parking, wi-fi, good but very expensive breakfast.
Rooms were small for the price and our room was under very noisy stairway. When I complained next morning I was changed to another somewhat less noisy under another stairway. Staff did their best but basically they are stuck with the small, noisy (but well equiped) rooms. No English language TV was available in the room yet CNN was available in breakfast room- I was told they were in middle of changing to a new service and nothing could be done and no credit was offered.
The setting was fantastic and the facilities were very good. Staff were both friendly and helpful.
Rooms were a little small for the price and the hotel bar prices were prohibitive and double the cost of lakeside cafes/resturants in Annecy which is only a short walk away. (9 euros for an orange juice !)
The lake/mountains view and the swimming pool.
Oh, yes, aplenty: lack of comfort - small room/bathroom, no aircon (worse if room under the roof); unprofessional, immature staff, unable to answer simple questions about the place but suggesting we should go to the tourist information office downtown instead! One morning breakfast service was appalling, but the hotel manager was 'unavailable' (en rendez-vous) to take comments directly and never replied to our complaints. Hotel restaurant was rather pricey for a family with children, hence the need to sample the restaurants downtown; plenty of choices there but the return to the hotel problematic in the dark. Romantically involved couples of all ages may find this place attractive for a night or two but a longer stay is not justified.
The hotel is lovely - quite a business hotel though and the breakfast and food quite pricey when paying your own way. Not ideal for families because of this. Location good - you can walk down to the lake and town in about 15 minutes and the view is fab.
The service and the food in the main restaurant was very poor and the head waiter ignored our complaints
fabulous views from the pool
noise from the staff quarters in the early hours. difficult to to get into town due to lack of taxis. Expensive food
pillows, bathroom, robes, view, inside space itself (i.e. dining and sitting areas - I could imagine having a wedding there), staff (friendly, helpful, and excellent English), dvd player
room smelled bad, farther away than indicated on map - quite a hike
A lovely hotel in a supurb setting.
The restaurant was too expensive and closed on Sunday! The brasserie was not open at all!! No English channels on T.V.
