We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor which was positively palatial. Good location with views over the Gulf of Corinth. Very comfortable hotel and an excellent breakfast.
very good location, the room was excellent, also the breakfast
Pleasant stay in junior suite (last minute offer), abundant breakfast served in the room minutes after the request, very clean.
Nice location, close to the sea front. Great staff. Excellent facilities. Free internet. Spare laptop PC available for guests. V.good breakfast. Signs for the hotel could be added on the main road so that locating the hotel could be easier.
The smiling faces of the Hotel personel and the excellent services.
Good location and value for money
Very nice room and comfortable bed, smart design, very good breakfast. Very good location just at the beach,
lovely trendy hotel. great facilities and great location
It was conveniently located in the centre of the city. Although I had booked the room a few days ago I wasn't given a sea view room and I was told that I should have specified that when I booked the room through booking.com.the problem is that I wasn't offered that choice online! Therefore I couldn't enjoy the view which was quite frustrating!
Daniella was very helpful and friendly and made our stay wonderful! No indoor swimming pool!
The rooms have their own heat and hot water. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. My wife has a knee problem. It takes at least 50 stone steps to get from parking to the room.
Once in the city the hotel name is only given as HELION (the Greek version), not Ilion as at booking.com. This caused some trouble finding it.
The location: remote but very beautiful. The countryside is about as unspoiled as you can find on the Greek mainland. The service was friendly rather than professional. Food was available to order at any time and was well-cooked basic Greek fare. The rooms were simple but comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but - believe it or not! - it's cool enough even in mid-summer some 1500 m above sea level. Although the hotel has put up plenty of signs from over 15km away, it's still quite difficult to find and the roads, although mostly with asphalt, are winding and not well maintained. No frills, but none expected.
