Pros: The location was great. Just a short drive away from the town center. The included breakfast was good. Would have liked some different options (like fresh cut fruit) instead of the same standard breakfast every day.
Cons: Better pillows. Better shower fixture. Much of the water was spraying out of the side of the knob and not coming out of the shower head appropriately. Some of the plugs kept shorting out.
Cons: None at all. The staff will go the extra mile to please you.
Pros: Beautiful location, on a quiet hill surrounded by trees just 5 minutes taxi outside town. Room was large and clean, with a fridge and TV and a fabulous shower. Breakfast was delicious, lovely omelette and toast, with a beautiful view. Dinner was nice too. Highly recommend this lovely lodge.
Pros: I liked the size of the room.
Cons: The group order our food at 6.30pm. Some food arrived at 8.30pm and some didn’t arrive at all. 3 people went hungry. Power cuts, meant no AC for 3 hours during the night. No sleep, long drive home!
Pros: Every one was pleasant and helpful. Great homely atmosphere. Tucked away amongst trees and nature. Food made fresh on order.
Cons: Food took a little longer to be ready because it was made from scratch on order.
Pros: Staff was excellent and very happy to see us and accommodate us. Room was incredible with a huge spacious bed. Water heater works really well if you give it 30 minutes to heat up, hottest shower I’ve been able to have in a month! Overall very luxurious and peaceful place. Will definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only downside I can fathom is that the property is not beachside. Other than that it was all around wonderful.

Cons: This is a cash only hotel. They accept local currency and US dollars.
Pros: Swimming pool, breakfast, landscape
Pros: Biriwa is a beautiful place at the Ghanaian Coast with an impresive view on the ocean. It's a good place to stay for visiting Cape Coast, Elmina and Kakum National Park. I couldn't swim in the sea because there was a rough swell - and unfortunately parts of the Ghanaian coast are affected by global polution (plastic and othe rubbish).
Cons: Every thing was fine.
Pros: Beautiful location. Lovely pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms.
Cons: Food wasn't as good as expected. Ran out of wine very quickly but very good value.
Pros: Probably the best part of our stay were the many nice people working in the hotel. If you need recommendations what is worth a visit, which restaurants are good to eat in etc., get talking to the staff :) The staff was very considerate and always helpful with all our questions. If you need some local guide or driver they are eager to help you discover cape coast and it’s many beautiful sights. The rooms were clean and come with air conditioning. You have a lot of privacy in the hotel, which was important to us. Outside there is a pool, which you can also use for a night swim. The menu of the restaurant offers a variety of local and international dishes and they are super delicious.
Cons: The locations of the hotel is a little bit out of cape coast centre. It takes about 20 minutes by car to get to cape coast. If you want Internet Access, make sure to ask, as it is not included in the price.
Pros: The pool and the view were just amazing. Also the garden is beautiful. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels. Very friendly stuff. They checked us such a nice and smart driver for day trips to kakum and our following journey.
Cons: Unfortunately the food was pretty expensive. The 'private beach' was full of plastic, it was a pitty.
Pros: Setting, friendly and wlecoming staff
Cons: The menu could have been more accurate, some of the faciliites need to be upgraded
Pros: The hotel feels like home. Claudia made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The view of Biriwa beach is spectacular and we enjoyed going for walks on the beach at dawn. The food at the hotel restaurant is excellent.
Cons: I can’t think of anything.

Pros: Location and owner.
Pros: The size of the room and the immense bathroom ! And, it was a casita with a sitting porch! The included breakfast was delicious! The landscaping was very lush! The dogs and cats keep the crawly things away I assume! The ocean view from the elevated restaurant was spectacular! The staff was very polite and helpful. The serene country like atmosphere is immeasurable! The Moree Paradise Ocean Resort, once found will not be forgotten!
Cons: In the evening I was able to hear revelry from somewhere, but that was off property. During the day, rebuilding/repair/renovating sounds could be heard on property. It would have been great if the fountain was operating
Pros: Joseph and the rest of the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Rooms were spacious. Nice views from the restaurant (and better mobile signal too).
Pros: Location, location, location!!! Very friendly owner and staff. The food was delicious!

Pros: the checkin process

Pros: Great staff (especially Felix!) Everyone was welcoming, the food was delicious and it the setting was beautiful
Pros: The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was great, close enough to the bus station and the places of interest. Many thanks to Frederick, he helped us get tro tro to the kakum national park, the taxis were trying to rip us off. All the staff at the restaurant were so nice, wish I could mention them by name but I didn’t get all their names, aunty Mary and Zachariah I remember, but everyone was really helpful. Michael and Halima at the reception as well. The grounds are also nice, my husband and I saw a crocodile the very first day we got there, as our taxi was driving in. I highly recommend this place.
Cons: The water in the bathroom had a certain smell, I didn’t really like that. But it isn’t as noticeable once the heater is on

Pros: Courtesy of staff
Cons: When I bought online I saw something totally different once I got to the hotel.

Pros: -Very helpful staff -Bed was comfortable (but...) -Location is ok
Cons: -wifi didn't work (hotel forgot to put enough credit and all shops closed on the weekend to top up) -pillow sheets smell bad. Had to put towel around the pillow -light coming from the corridor
Pros: Very good manager !
Pros: Daniel, the owner was very accommdating. He made sure our stay was a comfortable one. Marrets International Hotel is located on a quiet street, but only steps away from the main road to catch a taxi into town,or do a little shopping at the street vendors. There is a local restaurant across the street when ever you're ready for lunch or dinner...the food there is amazing! If you are looking for a quiet and moderate place to rest, Marrets International Hotel is ideal...AND you will be supporting a traditionally family owned business
Pros: Clean and comfortable with super friendly staff (they got me a pizza and beer when I arrived late in the evening!) Excellent price/quality ratio for a room with comfortable bed, good shower and fan+aircon. Happy to book this hotel again for my next visit!
Cons: Breakfast served to the room was very basic
Pros: Everything was well. The host was very nice with me. He helped me a lot to take transportation, he talked to the taxi drivers. I can recommand this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay.
Pros: The host of the hotel was very nice, helped to get us settled in and the room was basic- with great A/C, great shower, and the breakfast was tasty. Will recommend. Hotel is also close to seeing the castles and nearby to the water.
Pros: Nothing, I don't recommend this hotel. It was extremely disappointing especially considering it wasn't particularly cheap.
Cons: As soon as we arrived the front of the building looked rundown and not like the photo. I thought we had booked somewhere decent but it was a big let down. Everything was old and falling apart. There was no dining room or anywhere to hang out and relax. They tried to charge ridiculous amounts for the water and drinks in the fridge as if it was an upmarket hotel. There was nothing upmarket about it.
Cons: Everything. Unfortunately, the room was as described and there was no running water. The towels were pure white and stained with brown streaks. The guy who assisted tried his best given the circumstances. He was accomodating. The facilities let him down.
Pros: This guesthouse had the best location, water pressure and hot water. They also had a decent bed. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was old, no working WiFi or tv channels. They offered a very limited breakfast and the room (room one) needed some updates. The shower had this big step to get into it and it was tiny. The room smelled like moth balls and the scent just overpowered everything.
