Lovely Hotel, all the facilities we wanted. Very hot when we were there and no aircon or fans. Quite uncomfortable sleeping.
Excellent hotel, superior room is beautiful. Nice village, hotel is near the lake Gerardmer. Worth more then 3 stars in our opinion. Owner was very interested in our opinion. Breakfastconcept is ridiculous, standard price is €16,- supplement of €8,- when you want eggs for breakfast. Better have breakfast at a local terrace for €6,-.....
Relaxing, clean None
nice hotel, nice location, nice ambience It was mentioned that the hotel would have a fitness room. The small room was located at the swimming pool area and the room also contained the sauna !! Obviously non of the equiment was maintained for years and half of the maschinery was not useable at all. So not usable at all.
The hotel is in a very nice setting, right by the lake and within reach of the Vosges mountains and beautiful villages like Colmar and Riquewihr. The hotel did not have air conditioning and it was too hot to sleep in the rooms. We couldn't open windows because of the noise outside. We booked a table in the restaurant on the Sunday night after choosing a menu which was displayed. When we arrived, again, the temperature in the restaurant was unbearable and we were told that there was only a buffet. We left, as we wanted waiter service and then had trouble finding a restaurant which was open.Such a shame, our stay could have been so nice.
The location was excellent. Parking was available which was a huge bonus! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A great visit!
friendly helpfull staff looked like 5 star when we arrived heated outdoor pool very nice with bar reasonable prices.right in town by bars and restaurants but still quiet at night. seperate w.c. but extractor fan not sufficient so we had toilet smells in the room
Good hotel and fascilities, but rooms a bit run down. Nice bar with friendly staff. Breakfast not great rooms run down a bit, breakfast not great
The hotel is idealy situated, with good private parking right in the centre of Gerardmer. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The breakfast varied and plentiful, the service excellent. A very enjoyable break.
the food in the restaurant was excelent
The familly, very open, service oriented, very cleanless. The hotel is along a traffic way, is not pleasure to walk in the precipal street
Excellent location (5 min from the Lac Blanc ski slopes), very sympathetic hotel and incredibly kind staff
Very cute hotel. Ideally situated: foot on of the mountain, nice for hiking, in between larger citys for going out at night. Very nice and helpfull couple that owns the place, feels like a bed and breakfast. Very clean rooms with good beds. Perfect for a cheap weekend away. Noisy. There is a lot to do in the surrounding places (short drive), but not much in Bonhomme besides the wonderful scenery/hiking.
Stuffs were very kindly. Reasonable price. Hotel location is a little bit far from the wine route but if you have car or bike, I can recommend this hotel.
Very friendly Welcome at the Hotel. The stuff was committed to help us. The hotel was clean and the facilities ok. The hotel facilities are simple and operate ok.
environment and peace
Interersted, kind staff. The terrible smell of smoke in the room. We had primarily asked for non smoking room.
the staff was very kind and is in a quiet position the bathroom was dirty and the bed was to replace and very uncomfortable. The walls were so thin that it was possible to hear everything
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was quite good; not a buffet but plenty of beverage/bread/spread and cheese choices. Rooms were very clean and cozy; shower stalls are just big enough! Parking is in backyard under the apple tree. Great spot for dinner at "du Faude" 150 meters down the hill.
Everyone at this hotel was friendly & helpful.
Room was clean and comfortable, staff was helpful, great location for walking into town or taking one of the hiking trails.
Comfortable (bed, shower, plenty of room); location (very close to centre); parking; helpful staff; free wifi. Nothing
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Good breakfast Bit difficult to find in amongst the one-way systems.
Nothing. Awful experience. I stayed at the hotel, and I think your front desk people are a disgrace. Unfriendly, unhelpful and raging with stereotypical European attitude. I would never recommend your hotel to a friend or family member, and I will never sit foot in your hotel again. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at your hotel. You should be ashamed of the way you treat people.
The staff was very nice and friendly. Especially for the family like us who has a little child, it is very important to have such a nice staff. They offer us a big enough apartment type of room and prepared the baby bed appropriate.
Nice place located close to central area of the city
location and ability to park easily at the hotel This was no three star hotel. It was extremely basic. I could not use my phone card and they were no help. The breakfast was not very good and the coffee was undrinkable.
Ideal place for our holidays in Alsace : welcome, very helpfull and englischspeaking staff, high quality fittings and confort , wellkept hotel and quiet place close to the historical center of marvellous village of Kaysersberg, itself well located in the middle of the wine road; Very happy of my choice.
Very cosy hotel. Exellent enviroment. Nice view and very comfortable terrace.
Excellent room and dinning.
Very comfortable and luxurious hotel, spacious room, large bathroom. large bed, nice porch with a view of the vineyards and the castle, relaxing spa
Superb service in a very well designed hotel. The food in the gourmet restaurant was excellent.
It had a high class feel to it. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and pretty, and very relaxing. The food is very good, and the location is simply perfect. Easy and free parking on site.
Beautiful looking hotel set in a prime location in a fantastic medieval villiage with scenic surroundings and exquisite architecture.
environment, comfort, swimming pool & spa, food, small town, castle, pretty decoration inside outside, welcoming, quite. cosy. may be could be more welcoming to children even if main customers are obviously either romancing couples or older, richer, gourmet and spa loving type...
Ideal location near to bars and restaurants. Very clean hotel, large rooms and good value. Breakfast quite expensive but room reasonably priced.
Friendly staff/owners ; nice, honest breakfast although some fresh fruit would have been nice ; some rooms are still to be refurbished/renovated, which is also planned. Due to renovation, the bar was closed. (But Rome was not built in one day either)
Location of this hotel is very good. It is too expensive and the heating system is very poor.
Friendly, helpful English speaking staff. Good breakfast.
Owners were very pleasant. Hotel is currently being refurbished which meant not all facilties were available. Standard of rooms was good. Lack of facilities (see above).
The staff is very helpful and nice. When choosing the type of room we want, I was attracted by the description in booking website that this room is "more spacious than the standard room". In fact, this room should be described as a "family room" with a semi-separate smaller room of two twin beds. So, since we are a couple without children, the extra room/space does not give us any real benefit.
super nice personal, good location, beautiful hotel - everything was just perfect! ;))) we liked everything very much :)
Very dark and un-welcoming room, although comfortable. Hotel lacked any character and breakfast was a bit disappointing in the variety of food available.
Staff pleasant and helpful Bar + computer access shuts at 9.30pm
close to the slopes (10 min by car), nice and fairly clean room. Go visit Le musee de mille et une racines in Cornimont :-)) It's unique! the staff was not particularly friendly ... if u want to use the sauna, don't forget to book it
very friendly staff, clean rooms and good beds
Hotel room was very nice and had a very nice fresh smell everytime I walked in at the end of the day. The staff where very frendly and helpfull. We where told we could have breakfast and dinner at the hotel everynight for around 48 euros. I made it clear to the women sayin is that 48 euros for the whole week we are staying and I said that 3 times and she said yes for the whole week. Me and my friend thought happy days thats a bargin and at the end of our stay we got hit with a bill of 500 euros for both of us and that was for 5 nites stay with breakfast and dinner while we where told it only cost 48 euros for the week which makes it 96 euros for me and my friend, I regret paying it know because we got absolutly robed. When have you ever heard of such a ridiculous price of 500 euors for food for 2 people you would think we would be staying for a month.
Free wireless internet, very reliable. Ideal if you want to experience the mountains. Located on main road, so very noisy if you had to leave the window open for ventilation as we did. Too hot otherwise because of heatwave. This hotel would be excellent for a winter ski break, but not ideal for exploration of the major towns of the lower Alsace.
very nice hotel , friendly staff
perfect stay! the hotel is very nice, comfortable and clean room, new fresh bathroom. Good breakfast.Internet available.I advice it to everybody! everything was perfect!
Very friendly staff, excellent service, good restaurant
Friendly staff, good facilities. I came to the Vogezen to climb the Ballons on my bike. The breakfast provided a solid basis for these trips and the spa was a great way to relax after the trip.
We used the the Deybach Hotel for an overnight stay and found it very pleasant, clean and comfortable and just a short walk through the park into Munster. The owner was very helpful.
it was a dream to be there, fantastic in all, especially in staff and cleanless
The staff were most helpful and our room was very comfortable.Breakfast was excellent and good value. We only stayed one night but the hotel would make a good touring base
We loved staying at Logis Deybach! The couple that runs the hotel is very friendly and helpfull. An excellent place to be!
This is a thoroughly properly run hotel in an excellent location to tour Alsace. It is very easy to find and access. It says 2 stars but in many respects (particularly the room, which is of course the most important thing) I would rate it as worth 3 stars. Much better value than one of the well known hotel chains in this price range. You also get the feeling that the owners really do care about getting everything right and are genuinely friendly. As a Logis inspected place you experience the benefits of their 500 point checklist. This traditionally run hotel is very hard to fault. It does everything it says on the label.
The best was the location (that it is high in the mountains) and the restaurant with the local dinner and the breakfast. The upper beads of the ''lits superposes'' in two quadruple rooms were not suitable for children because there was nothing on them to protect children from falling down from the bed. The ''spa'' part of the hotel was closed at 7 p.m.
Everything was ok, except for the spa. It's a nice spa, it's just never open. The spa facilities close at 19:00, and the sauna and hammam never seem to be open at all. The jacuzzi was on the cool side, but I guess they don't really expect anyone to use it... :(
We liked the friendly, helpful staff and the interesting fellow guests. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. Breakfasts and dinners were an experience requiring plenty of exercise There was no choice of menu in the evening although the food was excellent.
Quiet spot in the mountains! Martine is the most efficient, hardworking woman we ever met. She made our stay special. Clean rooms, lift and fantastic food at reasonable rates. Out of the way, but charming and highly recommended by the six people who really enjoyed the time here! Nothing!
The accommodation is excellent, all rooms are brand new and in good working order. Carpeting is new and rooms are cleaned and serviced every day. The wall hung flat screen tv is also new. Nothing comes to mind to dislike. We missed bbc World, but made do with cnn.
the locatioun in nature one could not eat "à la carte ", there was only one menu disponible
The owners of the hotel were very friendly, the food was excellent. the hotel was clean with plenty hot water for a lovely bath after skiing. Highly recommended - excellent value for money No
Friendly staff, excellent dinner, excellent price, comfortable room, free wireless connection in the room, modern bathroom.
The service and the restaurant were excellent. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
The Hotel was the perfect value for money stay, extraordinary friendly staff, very nice and spacious rooms
Excellent staff in restaurant and lobby. Despite some staff had problems to speek English they were able to call colleagues that were fluent in English. I also like large room and sitting corner in the room + large bathroom+ extra towels for spa packed in a nice bag. The corners around the bath were full of black mildew ( I assume due to wet environment and insufficient cleaning). Information leaflets in the room were in French and English version was missing.
silence, location , the park with river near the hotel , good breakfast we take 2 rooms , 1 room was perfect and the other room the cleanroom put a wool blanket and at night it was cold outside and i asked a heavy blanket , i asked from the reception and they brought to me a one blanket without sheet cover on it ' the next day i asked from the reception to change the blanket and it didn't happended . only the last day the cleanroom brought the couple blanket after i asked from her personally.
Great family room, good pool and excellent food Breakfast was expensive - we walked 5 mins into town and went to a local cafe / patisserie instead
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the resturaunt was wonderful!
Staff excellent, attentive and helpful. Personified by Alain Rosenzuey.
If you book a room in this hotel, do not eat in town, but stay in the hotel ! The chef prepares a great diner, menu or a la carte.
The welcome was very good, the hotel and room were very well appointed and the food was excellent
Room was large, bed comfortable. Excellent restaurant attached with good selection of wines. Good English spoken. Bathroom basic but perfectly adequate. Somewhat quaint, largely wooden interior design gave the room a slight 'Tyrolean' feel. Our room was above the kitchens and there was some general noise from equipment operating there, but fortunately not later in the evening though. Some families with children were a bit noisy in the morning. All in all we felt it was a touch expensive for what it was.
Clean, comfortable, nice staff. Dinner was okay. Beds were uncomfortable, a big piece of foam
The receptions staff was wondeful, friendly and positive Mattress is a slice of foam. A bit tought on old bones.
Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom ventilation either not working or inadequate. Water from shower spread over floor outside shower cubicle. Design problem?
Service of Rection staff was excellent Moved to smoking room which turned out to be disabled room, shower did not work properly.
Good quality restaurant rooms were not ready ( not clean) at our arrival (around 14h15)
The staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms are adequate for city or shopping trips. The situation is very good close to shops and restaurants.
near a trainstation and a lot of possebilitys to cycle and walking
Very clean and very cosy. Very quiet. The staff was very polite and helpful. Easy to find a parking place. Near the village center. Everything was fine. No problem at all.
The room for four was very clean with a nice sized bathroom. Also the family that ran the Inn was very friendly and helpful. Only one member of the family spoke English well, and very few of the tavern customers spoke much English, but everyone was very nice. The town of Munster was very pretty and quaint, so it was worth visiting the town, especially to see the many storks that reside on the roof tops! The Saturday open market in the town square was also great to see. There were many locals that came to the bar/restaurant, so it seemed a very popular place. There was no air conditioning, not even a fan to move the air in the room(we asked for one but they did not have any). This forced us to have to keep our street-side window open all night, and thus the street noise, weekend bar patrons and the summer heat made it difficult to sleep. It seemed odd to us that the heat was something that the hotel was not prepared to deal with. We are sure that a visit to this hotel is much more comfortable during the spring and fall, but we would not recommend a summer stay unless the owners can provide some relief from the heat. We thought that the 8 Euro per person continental breakfast was overpriced, so we ate elsewhere.
