With a stay at Le Saint Georges in Le Gosier, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 13 minutes by foot from Plage de la Datcha.
Pros: A beautiful private property in a residential area. Approximately 20 walk to the beach. He host was very warm and inviting. The place was nicely decorated, the ensuite was a nice size and stocked with necessities as well as the kitchenette. The only thing that wasn't forgiven was the mosquitoes.. i stayed only one night but will definitely return.
Cons: None that i can mention. Other then not having access to maybe snacks juice etc without leaving. But i didnt inquire so i cannot hold it against them.
Pros: Very friendly hosts & clean, comfortable accommodation. Everything was perfect.
Pros: The host was quite personable and simple.
Cons: Did not know to use the net for mosquitoes
Pros: Great place, safe, clean, beautifully furnished and central enough so you can walk to the city centre and the Datcha beach. Comes with a little outdoor area that is perfectly suited to have a drink or have breakfast. Wonderful alternative to a hotel room.
Pros: A very nice place, but a bit difficult to find.
Cons: Difficult to find at night.
Pros: Very very nice room, charming host minutes from the beaches.
Pros: Christian is the perfect host.
Pros: Very nice, friendly, comfortable apartment.
Cons: Breakfast was nice, but pretty spare
Pros: The host was beyond accommodating and helpful. As we dropped off our rental car at the airport, he aided us for a small fee by offering to pick us up and drive us, as well as driving us to our next stay when we checked out. Also, at the day of arrival, he showed us around and pointed out some good restaurants and the beach in Le Gosier, which was very nice. The room we stayed at was also very cosy and clean.
Cons: The neighborhood in Le Gosier between the place we stayed at, and the beach did not feel too safe at dusk. Which meant we shied away from visiting the restaurants in the evening. We therefore ate out during lunch instead, and cooked ourselves during the evenings.
When you a stay at Hotel Au Ti Sucrier in Deshaies, you'll be by the sea, just steps from Leeward Islands and Leroux Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: -The owners were very friendly and helped us a lot with organizing. -The garden is extraordinary beautiful. -The pool area is wonderfully located with quite a view. -The room was very spacious and the small kitchen is outside and very beautiful. - The beach nearby was nice.
Cons: - The room was cleaned only every third day. -There was no restaurant in the hotel or nearby (walking distance) which was open in the evening. -We were charged for a small missing towel: quite inapropriate compared to the room price.
Pros: friendliness and helpful hotel management. beautiful location. lovely terrace with view of the sea.
Pros: Make sure to arrive with your own car. The best beaches are not within walking distance.
Cons: The beds are extremely hard.
Pros: Beautiful property with great view and awesome pool! Quiet rooms and very peaceful all around. Wonderfully helpful hosts!
Cons: Bed was slightly hard, yet did not stop us from getting a good nights sleep.
Pros: The location is superb, 2 minute walk to our favorite beach, 1 minute walk to bakery. Staff are super nice, and made us feel really welcome (and owner Paola speaks very good English, which was nice for us). The outside kitchen/family room and deck had amazing views, and we loved starting our day there with breakfast and then watching the sunset after a fun filled day. Top notch reefs for snorkeling on both sides of the beach, and close to great activities like botanical garden, rain forest hikes, volcano, chocolate museum, and more. Deshaies is 5 minutes away by car if you crave some more upscale dining options. We had originally wanted to be in Deshaies, but so glad we picked Ferry instead (beach!). We'll be back!
Cons: Nothing major, but if you like to cook on your vacation, the cook top only had one burner large enough for serious cooking. We made do by "serial cooking" which was fine since we were on vacation :)
Pros: The location was perfect and allowed easy access to beautiful beaches and snorkeling nearby. The outdoor kitchen and dining with the lush gardens around was beautiful. The pool and its view were amazing. The large common area deck offered fantastic views. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The cats were very cute.
Cons: There were a lot of noises from the plumbing pipes and the air conditioning unit. We didn’t run our ac much but the neighbors did. This may not pose an issue with other rooms as the air con unit was right behind our room. The room was decently clean but there were areas that could have had more attention. It is rustic so don’t expect a luxury resort. Just a general comment about staying in Guadeloupe...smoking is allowed everywhere. There was no smoking inside these rooms so that was good. There was smoking at the pool.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Paola contacted me when I booked and suggested i rent a car, and recommended a car rental place who were fantastic. Having a car was necessary as there was not much in the immediate area. I really appreciated the hotel policy of not servicing rooms on a daily basis (unless requested) which shows a great commitment to the environment.
Pros: Perfectly situated in Basse Terre, wonderful view over the sea, safe and sound for children, much quieter then Grand Terre, quite close to the starting point of extra activities. And best of all ... Paola and Bruno
Pros: .Amazing view, beautiful and tranquil place, wonderful host, and great location
Pros: Fabulous garden. Nice pool. Spacious rooms and terraces with kitchens and views - heavenly! Scrupulously clean. Quiet and relaxing. Lovely beach 2 minutes walk away, 5 minutes drive to Dehaies , fantastic beaches, botanical gardens.
Cons: Kitchen adequately equipped but dated. If you're looking for TV and mod cons look elsewhere - this place is all about nature and relaxing.
Located in Sainte-Rose, Habitation du Comté is on the boardwalk, a 1-minute drive from Leeward Islands and 7 minutes from Ecomusee Creole de la Guadeloupe. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable. The best thing was the dinner in the restaurant. The food was fabulous, well cooked and presented.
Cons: There was good service but not enough staff. The poor person working alone to serve the whole hotel was very efficient but we felt sorry for them having to work so hard yet still making people wait for everything. It was not their fault.
Pros: Amazing place. Cost wasn’t an issue for us and I initially went for a more expensive hotel but at the other side of the island. Then looked at restaurants and decided to be near Deschaies so moved to this one. So pleased we did. Superb staff and amazing food. The cottage had two bedrooms both with baths and ideal for two couples. Also had a kitchen and plunge pool. Rooms in main house very spacious and lovely balconies with fridges. They don’t speak much English but if we managed to get by, so will anyone. If we come back we will definitely stay here.
Cons: Nothing.....loved everything!
Pros: Really good food and peaceful location
Pros: The entire staff really cared about us having a good stay. Location was sensational. Was easy to get to beaches, snorkeling, grocery, towns. The facility was great- room was very comfortable with balcony overlooking pool and comfy bed. Grounds were well landscaped and very quiet. Restaurant was popular with both guests and locals. Food was expertly prepared especially the fish.
Cons: Google maps led us to wrong location (in center of Saint Rose) so was hard to find it the first night. If you type in the address directly into google map then it can find the location.
Pros: Lovely staff, very comfortable bungalow with a private outdoor kitchen and small pool--made for easy family travel. Our meals at the restaurant were delicious. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: It was a little far from the beaches but we had a car, of course, so it was no problem. It's a very small hotel so if you're looking for a resort-like stay, this wont be the place for you (we were not, and were pleased).
Pros: The location is good, many excellent beaches nearby and Saint Rose city, where you can book many interesting excursions to mangrove, etc. Clean and nice environment.
Cons: The room was nicely furnished, but not very comfortable. E.g. they had a fridge and two glasses, no kitchen equipment at all. The restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, so it would be nice to have a possibility to make a sandwich on our own. Also we had no mosquito net over bed and fan lamp was disturbing at night. The condtioner shut down at night and we were trying to make it work for almost one hour. The breakfast was very basic, I would expect better for 160 eur/night (at least eggs?!). Only cold food like croissants and some fruits, jam. Also no reception at the hotel, which we would also expect for 160 eur/night. At least during the day. Maybe normally they have it, but in January the hotel was very empty (one more couple).
Pros: The woman who greeted us was so friendly and welcoming! The room was stunning, especially the balcony. We loved breakfast on the patio, and walking through the grounds. A wonderful place to stay.
Cons: To find this place you must drive down a street with some construction and empty lots, it's a little unsettling, but the signage for Habitation du Comté is very clear, which I appreciated.
Pros: A magical authentic place that takes you right back into history, beautifull room decorated with a lot of taste and the smile of Eugénie at arival and a delicious breakfast completes the feeling of being in Paradise!
Cons: the doors between the room and bathroom make a lot of noise
Pros: Super comfy bed, exceedingly pleasant staff, perfect location They can even put you in touch with someone who offers massages. The person comes to your room with the massage bed etc. Owner (I think he is) was happy to let us checkin earlier as it was possible to leave a little later after we had finished our treatments. Wish we could have stayed 2 nights. Dinner was lovely and the accras crispy to perfection!
Cons: Weather wasn’t great but nothing they could have done about that :-)

Pros: Property is good, good style, good location
Cons: Dirty rooms, a lot of hairs at floor, unprofessional staff, we are traveling with the dog and nobody told that it’s cost 50€ per/stay. This information comes only in final bill. Breakfast is terrible. My wife has omelet with hairs, and me has problems with stomach next 24h.
Pros: I was satisfied.
Pros: Everything was excellent!
Pros: Splendid location with well isolated bungalows and nice Swimming pool
Cons: At two occasions either the restaurant and the beech were privatized for special events which we were not aware of. Lights were insufficient to walk from our bungalow to the facilities.
Pros: The view from our room was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet offered many choices. The staff went above and beyond to help us with every questions and make our stay enjoyable.
Cons: We enjoyed everything about our stay.
Pros: So glad we chose La Toubana. We booked a 2 bedroom suite which turned out to be a little house with all the facilities. Absolutely perfect, comfortable and well decorated. Beautiful beach and pool area,. Staff wonderful and friendly.
Cons: Restaurant menus in the restaurants were a bit limited. We hired a car and lots of good restaurants locally.
Pros: Lovely private beach
Pros: The staff is professional and caring, the restaurant is excellent including the wines. Prices are fair and it definitely worth for dinners.

La Creole Beach Hotel & Spa offers airport transportation and several pools, too.
Pros: Wonderful location beautiful lagoon beach and pool. Great breakfast.
Cons: Sea Front Junior Suite. Zero balcony just an excuse for a balcony. Normal room with 2 chairs and small table not what I would even call a junior suite. Elevator broken 60% of the stay and never fixed till morning. Limited parking at night. Abandon the car anywhere style of parking. Asked for early checking in ended up with late check in. After staying at several other hi end resorts decided the room I had was not value for money. Kept clean and tidy by staff. Very little English spoken.
Pros: The gardens and the general ambience. There was ample space at this time of the year. The staff at the reception was helpful and spoke English! The location is great. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The food was not that great in the hotel (try D'lys tropical instead, up the street), the waiting staff was not very attentive, it was hard to communicate sometimes even when asking for a simple thing like coffee with milk. Our room with sea view had a very tiny balcony at which you could only stand so we could not really sit out and enjoy the view.... do not pay extra money for that unless you have seating in your balcony. The AC was not strong and the wifi did not really work..... People including guests were unfriendly.
Pros: In the room there was a tiny but complete kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. The huge balcony door Little birds in the morning
Cons: The staff should learn english
Pros: This property was nice; however, the "view" from our room was an alleyway with several dumpsters and broken down items. Also, every hotel employee we asked would not tell us about restaurants or anything else to do outside of the resort, they only pointed to other dining options on the property.
Cons: Be careful when booking this hotel as they charge you per person. Evidently I did not see the number of persons selection on booking.com and, even though I requested two double beds, they had me down as a "single use". The front desk was very rude about this, even after I said I was sorry, and explained that it was my first time using booking.com. Right away I said that we'd pay the difference, but they still put us in a less desirable room with a view of the trash dumpsters, and charged us an additional 50 euros per night. At the end, they tried to charge us another 25 euros per person for breakfast that was supposed to be included. The evening buffet was 36 euro per person and was not good at all. We each had a chicken leg and a tiny slice of pizza. With drinks, that was the worst $100 dinner we've ever had! Go across the street to the burger joint - much better!
Cons: 1) food poisoning 2) one day with no water in bathroom
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and a nice perk to have it included in our stay
Cons: when i booked this i was told that the staff spoke English which wasnt true. it was very hard to communicate . we had asked several times for another conversion plug but we were always told that they were out it was very hard to keep our electronics charges sharing one plug
Pros: It was a quiet hotel with a nice beach. The room was a bit small but very confortable
Cons: The reception staff was only one person and took us long time to make the checking out
Pros: The beach. The beautiful view from my room..
Cons: The A/C on the top floor could have been a little colder..
Pros: Private beach
Cons: Not very clean, with cockroaches running around the resort! Even in the restaurant. I understand it is a hot climate but the size and number of them was concerning. Our room key did not work due to the electronic monitor on the door being faulty. Even when “fixed” it still failed. The staff are not friendly and the food is not worth the money. Very basic hotel for a 4 star rating.
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Not very friendly receptionists, outdated rooms

The accommodation offers free WiFi, as well as a terrace and a restaurant. A continental breakfast is available every morning at the guest house. Racoon Lodge offers a barbecue. Le Gosier is 5 km from the accommodation, while Sainte-Anne is 18 km away. The nearest airport is Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport, 6 km from Racoon Lodge.
Pros: Very nice place to stay, we liked our room, the bathroom is huge and the whole place is very nicely decorated. Angela and Arthur were great hosts, Angela prepared us delicious breakfast with organic bread and local jams and a local meal for lunch. We loved the atmosphere and how close it was to the nature. We would return the next time and recommend it to anyone who likes familiar atmosphere and one of a kind hotels.
Cons: Would recommend to rent a car, not an ideal location for going around by foot.
Pros: Angela was the perfect host! The lodge is amazing, I met the Racoon and admired Angela's stunning artwork. Angela was kind enough to offer dinner and lunch if I wished. Would love to come back and stay again, and would wholly recommend here for anyone travelling to Guadaloupe.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Pros: Needs to be updated or price reduced
Cons: Everything was outdated, too expensive for what you get
Pros: Racoon Lodge is a very unique place that Angela, the artist owner, has created. Don't expect a "normal" B&B, you'll have to like things that are a bit different. And you have to like cats (and actual racoons)! :-) I've enjoyed my stay and the laid-back and friendly atmosphere.
Cons: There's some road noise from the adjacent highway but it's tolerable. It's hard to walk to and from there as you need to walk next to the four-lane highway for a few hundred meters. Having a car is a better idea...
Pros: Angela ist a very special host. We were welcomed in a very warm and familiar manner. Thanks for taking us out the first night
Pros: Our room Dolphin was so beautiful! We also enjoyed the swimming pool and delicious local jams at breakfast. For us the location was great as we enjoyed exploring the island via car and it was easy access from one of the main roads. Thank you Angie, we enjoyed staying with you a lot!
Pros: The owner is 200% kind and smiling. The place looks gorgeous, racoons are the most sweet animals in the world, I think. Near this place (a few minutes by a car), is marina with restaurants and boats. It is also near the connection of the two islands, so it is easy to move everywhere. The owner is also very helpful with getting familiar with things to see and trip advices.
Pros: Great host, great location and the best nights sleep in the most comfortable bed I have had in a long time. Merci Angela!
Pros: Nice place!! you will feel at home!! Angela will host you and facilitate anything you need, taxi, info, food. Nice surprise close to the city
Pros: Absolutely a wonderful experience. Going there is like going home. I felt I found a home in Guadalupe. Meeting Angela is an experience in itself. She is not only a very nice hostess, but she is a fine artist as well. I strongly recommend the place. I am planning to go back again.
With a stay at Hôtel La Maison Créole in Le Gosier, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 14 minutes by foot from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is very clean and quiet.
Pros: The pool, decoration, location and silent air conditioning.
Cons: The small studio with a very small and poorly equipped kithenette (no microwave, toaster nor kettle and none of the normal cooking utensils I.e. spatula, ladle etc)
Pros: - Friendly and helpful staff - Extra service to offer shower facility after check-out - Nice pool
Cons: - A bit of musty smell in the room - 30 euro taxi ride from the airport and 20 euro from the ferry/cruise port
Pros: Good location for airport though we were charged $35 for morning taxi trip at 5:45am after being told it would be $30. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: *Good value for a quick one night stay before an early flight. *Clean room and comfortable bed. *Easy 10 minute walk to a few local restaurants.
Cons: *Rooms were clean but the decor was a little dated and sterile.
Pros: The rooms are comfortable and have a good price/amenities ratio. Desk and chair are good, but can be improved. Illumination is great for work. Kitchenette is enough for spontaneous cooking. The location is good for diverse business (food, beaches and small grocery stores at walk distance).
Cons: Bathroom is good, but one day the water pressure was not enough. Also, I didn't have the bath soap the first night, but nothing critical. Think on buying the breakfast outside, it's 15€ but doesn't worth it. I didn't try lunch nor dinner. WiFi connection is not stable in some rooms, but I could test in the lobby that the speed is really good, pitifully not in my room.
Pros: Was acceptably clean, the reception staff was pleasant inspite of the late night hour at which we checked in, plenty of the free parking space, acceptable wifi quality
Cons: This is not a real holidays stay place, but a motel type overnight place, trashy decoration, and totally overpriced
Set in Le Gosier in the Grande-Terre Region, 23 km from Saint-François, Hôtel Les Bananiers features a year-round outdoor pool and terrace and offers accommodation for adults only. The property is located at 1 km walking distance from the beach. while Terre-de-Haut is 39 km from the property. Guadeloupe - Pôle Caraïbes Airport is 8 km away.
Pros: Pool was warm and clean. Bertram very friendly. Enjoyed having breakfast with other guests. Met some interesting people. Shower hot and powerful solar heated.
Cons: Would have liked more choice for breakfast not just coffee and baguette
Pros: wifi. pool. coffee. garden
Cons: space for luggage. location more central. nearby restaurants
Pros: I liked the design of the room. The warm welcome of the owner. The decoration of the hotel is very nice. The place is quiet and in the same near everything
Cons: I think breakfast should be more complete with cheese or yoghurt,
Pros: The staff was SO nice and accommodating. Extremely clean and nice rooms.
Cons: I wish there were screens in the windows to keep bugs out.
Pros: Florence was a welcoming host. The property and outside living space were very nice. It was a quiet, friendly oasis in an area of impersonal high rises. Downside: the room (standard) was extremely small for two people. I'd get the larger one next time. I would definitely return.
Cons: A litre of water would be nice. The air "freshener" smell absolutely reeked!
Pros: great location, comfortable room and hospitable hosts. we couldn't ask for more
Pros: Great garden and pool.
Cons: Pls. note that not all rooms have a (shared) kitchen. French speaking guests seem to be preferred.
With a stay at Auberge de la Vieille Tour in Le Gosier, you'll be on the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 8 minutes by foot from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location. Easy to get there from the airport and parking on-site. Several restaurants nearby (walking or driving). Very pretty facilities and great view from breakfast area
Cons: Breakfast was very chaotic. A lot of items were not refilled regularly and I had to ask for a coffee cup at the bar since there were none at the coffee table. Room was fairly basic for the high price.
Cons: i had a wonderful room with a porch and wonderful bath tub but couldn't use it since we were on ground level - the shade didn't work but anyone could have looked in
Pros: Breakfast was ample and served early--good if you have a flight to catch. Room is nice, large, pretty clean, and the bed is large. The rooms with views of the ocean are especially nice.
Cons: The restaurant at the hotel for dinner was over-priced, so-so, and disappointing. I ate there twice, but I would not do so again.
Pros: Great hotel with great staff. Beautiful historic property although the history has darkness as a sugarcane plantation with many slaves. Beautiful view on the water. Room was very clean and comfortable. There was a lovely party on the patio with food and beverages for guests the night we were there, as well as a very cool photo exhibit. We chose the hotel to be fairly close to the airport. It is also a short walk to the casino if that's your thing. Directly around the hotel wasn't especially posh, but once you get inside the property, it was a lovely stay. Lucille the manager was welcoming and is doing a great job. Laurent at the front desk as well.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. The room was very cool when we arrived but during the night we got very hot. But that was pretty typical to every place we stayed on the island. Thank you! Will return!
Pros: Breakfast with splendid view
Pros: We were happy to have found a place to stay for our last night.
Cons: The poor quality of food both and breakfast and at dinner. The hotel is rather outdated and the price/quality is way off.
Cons: choice of food
Pros: I made a last minute booking at this hotel and arrived within an hour of making my reservation. Check in was smooth and straight forward, I even got handed a lovely drink. The room was wonderful and the views from my room were outstanding (I was in room 8 with a view of the garden, sea and Basse Terre island across the bay). At check in I was told there was WiFi everywhere in the hotel but my room had a very bad connection unless I sat outside on the balcony (probably due to being the very last one on a corner on the outskirts of the hotel). The beds by the pool are very nice and there is a small private stretch of beach at the hotel as well. Breakfast was alright, however whenever I arrived by 830ish there would not be much warm food left, or it would be lukewarm. Make sure to request the pancakes during breakfast, they are lovely. The hotel is close to the city centre and the beaches of Le Gosier (less than 10 minutes away) so the location is wonderful.
Cons: I feel that this hotel charge too much for their rooms. Yes, it's a lovely hotel and yes, there are a lot of amenities but it's not worth what they're asking for it. That being said, I paid less on booking.com than I would have if I booked directly with the hotel.
Cons: Check your sea view rooms because my view was hidden by trees
Pros: Good locations and excellent view to the ocean.
Cons: There was mold in the bathroom sink and shower.
Pros: Great value for money - very friendly lady that lives in the house below this loft type conversion. Property was very clean and spacious with fridge, cooker and private lounge.
Cons: Only downside it’s its located about 10mins up a dirt track off the main road which is quite steep and the taxi drivers were hesitant to drop us off there. Make sure you take food as there’s no where to walk to; to get supplies although the owner did kindly offer to send her son to the supmarket for us.
Pros: Very nice landlady provaded excellent service.
Cons: Location far up a dirt road. Own car important to be able getting to and from the location. Landlady acted as a driver for us since we had ni car.
Pros: Was all good
Cons: To have to clean and take care of garbage but this is probably common in Guadalupe No ocean view
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and barbecue, Locations Plus is set in Port-Louis in the Grande-Terre Region, 24 km from Le Gosier. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. Locations Plus features free WiFi. Sainte-Anne is 23 km from Locations Plus, while Saint-François is 28 km from the property. The nearest airport is Guadeloupe - Pôle Caraïbes Airport, 19 km from Locations Plus.
Pros: The staff (both of it) were helpful. The wifi worked very well--but only in the "common areas," which in this case means by the pool. Actually, it was quite pleasant sitting by the pool in the evening using the wifi, but it was annoying not to be able to use it in the room. We were allowed to use the small upstairs kitchen for heating our dinner and making salad. The location itself is very quiet, because there's nothing around for miles. Or kilometers.
Cons: The room was small, and weirdly arranged. There is only a small window in the bathroom, none at all in the rest of the room! The walls are thin--the guy in the room next to us turned on the TV as soon as he got there, and apparently fell asleep with it on, so we heard it all night long. There is a lot of work going on at this place; they are building new structures, and working on the gardens, and I'm sure they will eventually pave the parking lot and all the walkways--but right now it doesn't feel complete. We don't really get the location, because it's really in the middle of nowhere.
With a stay at Canella Beach Hotel in Le Gosier, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 2-minute drive from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We stayed one night. the room was at the best place I think. restaurants and small supermarket are very close to the hotel which we liked a lot. If you like to enjoy watching sun set, the beach of the hotel is on the excellent location. the room was very clean and well maintained.
Cons: WIFI conection was not so fast we wanted. taxi which the hotel coordinated for us costed us 40 euros to airport which I seem very expensive the explanation of the driver was that it was because early in the morning, AM0630, of sunday. I don't know if it was fair or not, because two persons of the hotel told me that it might cost around 30 to 35 euros because of sunday... the beach is beautiful as it seems but it is white sand filled beach. considering the price of the room, I would say it is a bit overpriced.
Pros: Breakfast was very good.
Cons: No safety wi-fi (??!)
Pros: Like that i got my room on the ground floor close to the pool. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Cochroatch in the room. Need to spray. A big one.
Pros: Breakfast was the same every morning. Plenty to eat, but not very imaginative. Coffee and scrambled eggs were poor. Not enough fresh fruit considering we were in Guadeloupe!
Cons: A coffee maker in the room would have been great. CNN on TV would have been very welcome. Every single station was in French. It was difficult to find a place to park in the hotel parking lot, especially in the evening.
Pros: Though the hotel it self and it facilites are not the newest of all things and the elevator closest to the lobby was broken, I give the hotel top marks since they registred us and gave us a room without hesitation even though we arrived in the morning, about 4 hours before the advertised check in time!
Pros: Pleasant hotel, nice room. Breakfast ended early, and as I had arrived previous midnight I had not checked times and came too late. However, breakfast was still provided by staff with a smile.
Cons: Old structure needs some renovation, interior not very clean, no value for money.
Pros: The breakfast was fine. The choices given were excellent and you could certainly help yourself to whatever amount you wanted to enjoy. The restaurant itself was super located in just the perfect atmosphere. I must say that the staff were so pleasant and nice.too.
Cons: As we didn't speak the language, it would have been helpful to be given a guide to the hotel, areas surrounding the hotel with bus schedules, for example, and an outline of the activities in the hotel. I felt that we had to learn the hard way where things were and how things operated. No one seemed to be in charge of customer relations or customer service. My take on the place was that the employers were darn lucky to have such pleasant and nice staff because the hotel itself, did not reach out to the customer.
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast on the beach view was amazing.
Cons: They don’t have room service.
Pros: To start with the positive - the hotel itself is not that bad at all. The staff is great, they speak english and were pretty helpful. The positive things about the room? Definitelly the bed - it was huge and comfortable. We had the superior studio tho, so that was probably why. They also keep the beach and its surrounding very clean.
Cons: Unfortunatelly there is no prevention from mosquitos in the room at all - no net on the windows or over the bed. That was definitelly a dissapointment as this was our last acccomodation on the island and the only one without any protection. We had many mosquitos in the room and suffered through their pinches a lot. Then there is the bathroom - the bathroom itself is pretty nice, but the shower? It was the only part that was definitelly not renovated and it looked like from 80s. And the kitchen - it was very nice, but not very practical. There was no salt, sugar, oil - those kind of stuff you expext in studios. But what was the most weird - there was no dish washing liquid - so we washed the dishes without it. The breakfast is very poor - there are some "eggs" - but unfortunatelly from concentrate and super disgusting. So you cannot really eat anything from the warm buffet. The cold buffet is nice - I liked the croissants and pain au chocolates and their jams and they had fresh pineapple and melons. But that was it. We only stayed 5 nights, so it was barable - but for longer stays, definitelly not enough choice. And then the beach - the beach itself is very clean and very nice. Unfortunatelly the sea itsef is not - you cannot really see your owhn hands in it. However, this is definitelly not a hotel to be blamed for as they really keep the surroundings clean - it´s just the sand and some sea weed that makes this "mess". To sum up - for a three star hotel, it is actually okay. But for a studio that is 250 EUR per night? Definitelly not.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good bar, pool and beach!
Cons: The complex is so big, that service (cleaning and general help) is slow and not efficient enough.
Pros: The area was of along with the pool environments
Cons: The service and the staff was terrible
Cons: Open buffet Dinner was not good In the room no cabinet of shower. After the shower the water was even flowing inside of the room. The wifi connection in the room almost no aignal. Wifi works mainly at reception.
Cons: The twin beds ! Regardless of our request for a double bed we were stuck with two tiny twin beds not the most comfortable No electric outlet in the kitchenette (difficult to make use of the toaster, kettle, coffee maker) The use of the spa non being included in the charges.. The area outside of the hotel
Pros: Great Buffe 5 star
Pros: Beautiful central space with great jazz music. Gorgeous restaurant carved into a cliff above the sea. One of the few places where people speak English if that is important (though not everyone-try learning French if you come here!)
Cons: The buffets we’re a bit underwhelming, better to go to the restaurant, and you have to hold the on button the entire time you are using the hair dryer. Towels were a bit thin and worn.
Located in Le Gosier, LE GLIGLI is a 1-minute drive from Leeward Islands and 6 minutes from Island of Gosier. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Location was okay .but a car is essential to get around.the staff did their best as they where on there first day in charge so a few hiccups
Cons: Property needs investment and development of accommodation offered.rusty pipework in showers general maintenance not good for the price I expected more
Pros: The views from our back window were gorgeous! Beautiful little spot in Saint Felix. The staff made themselves very available before and during our trip. The pool was a nice touch. Good central location if you are looking to go to both Grand Terre and Basse Terre.
Cons: Ants, ants, ants! Our kitchen and bathroom had a serious ant problem. We tried cleaning and sweeping, but they always seemed to come back. Further, the "Free Wifi" in the room was very spotty, so we had to sit by the pool anytime we wanted reliable internet. Not a huge deal, but a bit of an inconvenience.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No breakfast or coffee on premises, spotty wifi
Pros: The hotel has changed hands. There were no signs, very hard to find. Outside our room a rooster crowed all night. Very old and delapidated.
Cons: First of all a hotel sign. Bad food. Bad value overall.
Cons: Normally we don't really write bad reviews but this was one of the worst stays ever. Inside the bed it was full of cockroaches. Not just one, which would be kinda normal in Guadeloupe, but fifteen. We decided to abandon our room and put up our tent in the garden. Unfortunately there was a huge party going with very loud music until 5 o'clock in the morning on the property right next to us. At one point in the night the owner woke us up in our tent after we had send him a couple of text and voice messages about what was going on. He offered us another room but we decided to stay in our tent as it was already the sun was almost coming up. He said we would come to an agreement in the morning That morning he never showed up and he never followed up on his promise to arrange something better. In every hotel stuff can go wrong but as an owner you have a responsibility to make up for it with your guests. Especially if you promise them compensation, which unfortunately never came.
Pros: Nice Poolbar, but without a good view.
Cons: The Oceanview from the Balcony wasn‘t as expected. A tree was in the center and a house stand in front on my house and room. The Pictures imagine another expactations.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The only thing I liked is the view
Cons: The staff didn't speak English. The staff was very unfriendly. The room was dirty and old, all furniture was sticky our stuff stick on. The elevator was disgusting. The beach was very dirty full of rotting seaweed. We were left 4 hours waiting outside for check in. We were not allowed to sit in the restaurant because there was 15 min to exact time for lunch -12:00
Pros: I paid for a rooms with balcony, and at the check in we got rooms with just a small window. They change one of the rooms at my request for a room with balcony. In general the rooms are dated. A refresh is needed.
Cons: Location Staff
Cons: Pool should be open later
Pros: Lovely friendly staff
Cons: park for cattle
Pros: The staff was pleasant and professional. The property is on the beachfront.
Cons: The property needs better maintenance. The wifi was absolutely horrible and unreliable. I mostly used the wifi from a neighboring hotel. There are no irons in the room just an ironing room on the ground floor. No facilities to make a cup of tea at bed time. The room smelt damp constantly and had water damage in some parts of the ceiling- I had to leave the balcony door open most of the time.
Pros: The beach was fantastic. Breakfast was good too. Good value for money!
Cons: Staff spoke limited English but were still helpful. Room was a bit basic.
Pros: Good location. Easy to park and easy to get to the airport.
Cons: Quite expensive for the quality of the room. My "sea view" room really looked out over the pool. You could see the sea only by stepping out onto the balcony and peeking your head around the corner. Internet did not work well in the room
Pros: The beach was fantastic. Good coffee
Cons: long wait at the coffee machines as there were only two.
Pros: la chambre supérieure , the proximity of the nice beach and the restaurant close to the beach the "Pelican" with alle the birds Pelican crossing the beach and diving for lunch , real lovely with all the nice flowers and palm trees , exotic trees etc . too the nice excursions " le coeur des Iles " with real good guides and bus drivers !
Cons: unfortunately I was on the sixt floor and in the corridor going to my room it was a nasty smell !!!! but in my room it was really ok and very clean and confortable !

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Le Gosier? This hotel features 1292 square feet (120 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice hotel, with its own pool and private beach. The beach is very nice, with palm trees. Not super big, but big enough to make it enjoyable.
Cons: These are minor things, but they could be improved: - Parking lot is always full, which can make parking challenging. Clearly, it is too small considering the number of rooms that they have - The staff is not always friendly. They could be trained better to offer, not necessarily a better service, but a more friendly service. This does not apply to everyone, but certainly to a few, from the front desk to the restaurant staff (some of them again). The cleaning staff was always very nice. - They seem to try to save money on silly things. For example, there is a big bowl of honey for breakfast, but only on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week days, it's only these small, packaged, individual servings, which are definitely not of the same quality.
Pros: It would have been good if I had been on holiday at this hotel, the swimming pool looked great and the beach front as well, and there are many things to do on the island.
Cons: I choose this hotel considering the low evaluations against the high prices of hotels in the whole island and with 100€ a night I was disappointed. Garden view means you are near the car park and all related noises coming from it. This is a public Car Park, this means you may not find a place for your car when you return from a day out !!! The room was dated and there are many rooms been refurbished in a wing of the hotel. There was mould in my room and id did not look like the one in the publicised photos. At my arrival I got charged for 3,0 € daily tax instead of 1,5 € (the hotel considers the Single occupancy of a double room as if there are 2 people in it anyway), BETTER TAX FOR 2 INTEAD OF ONE, NO MISUNDERSTANDING WITH THE TAX OFFICE. In the 5 nights I was here one morning I had to call the reception to check the cold water, I was in a rush to go to work, cold shower…. well is always hot here so not a big deal. I will not coming back again.
Pros: Very nice beach, great outdoor facilities and well maintained.
Cons: Breakfast lacking attention to detail, bar was understaffed and the coffee over priced. Parking space often full.
Pros: The room was great with a big bacony . the staff from breakfast very nice.
Cons: It could be more information at the reception about the facilities and the restaurant possibility.
Cons: Prive is too high for this old and upworn place. The food is only expensive but not good. The recepción is unfriendly. I cannot recomand this Hotel
Cons: Price is not adequate to quality. The guest at the reception during check in confused the profession. We arrived at midnight, everything closed down, the room lack of complimentary water, hopeless wi-fi. Breakfast OK.
Cons: The WiFi didn’t work at all.
Pros: I loved that the hotel has its own beach. It was like being in paradise. We went all inclusive when we got there and the food was really lovely. The staff are happy and friendly. We had a wonderful time.
Cons: Outside the hotel there is nothing in walking distance and it’s very run down.
Pros: Beach pool location view & sunsets good
Cons: No ATM. Few taxis our room ( 1144 ) very tired. Furnishings tired. decor tired Bad tv ( one Engl channel ). No small restaurant w/ small meals (big buffet ONLY) Paper thin bath towels. Towels - strictly allocated Ice cubes - strictly allocated. Breakfast buffet NEVER Changed. Dining room staff not Friendly. Bar staff not Friendly ( we went and bought booze at a store). Often- no one at the bar or front desk spock English. One afternoon- 3 bar staffers , ONLY Spoke patois/creole .. how embarrassing for all .( no french fluency ? )
Pros: location is pretty ok but nothing more
Cons: many things: a) many staff seemed rude... wont even wish back b) when i asked if there was any snack or food at around 14:30 hours (i know it is past lunch but i am just arriving in a flight), there was no attempt to even help. there was a curt NO c) i wanted a taxi very early (at 05:00) and mentioned many times and was assured all was well. the taxi never showed up and i had to scramble and arrange for another d) the room was not ready just before 15:00 which the time of check in. when asked the receptionist said the room has to be given FROM 15:00 and hence i shd just wait and they will give the room when ready. when i asked to speak to the manager, i was told that they will get mine fast and pls wait... the hotel was NOT FULL in any stretch of imagination and to not have rooms ready for just a handful of people checking in (only 3 were checking in at this time) shows a lack of care e) the property is crumbling f) virtually no beach g) zero vegetarian food options!
With a stay at Hotel Arawak Beach Resort in Le Gosier, you'll be on the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 14 minutes by foot from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice beach, coffee machine in the room and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: This is place is so overpriced! We didn't have water one day (problem with the town supply - that's fine, but really!) and then we didn't have hot water! Awful view of an abandoned building site and rather outdated furnishings. For the price we paid, one would expect breakfast - not the case.
Pros: Public areas very spacious and tidy. The reception staff was freindly. Room was clean
Cons: Bathroom was small and shower and bath tub are outdated models
Pros: Nice beach with palms, good wifi, spacious room.
Cons: We were there for just one night and they had cold water breakage since 10pm until our check-out. We called the reception, they answered "will fix right away" but they didn't. Imagine the inability to brush teeth, take a shower and, pardon, to use the toilet. I understand that must be a bad luck and other days the hotel is just excellent, but I was shocked to pay almost $200USD per night and live worse than in a hostel. A few other notes. The breakfast is overpriced even comparing to say it luxury US hotels. Also, be careful on the beach, I got a painful bruise entering waters since it is not all-sand there.
Pros: The beach is lovely with beautiful palm trees and views of Basse Terre and sunsets. The water is pretty muddy and the bottom is rocky, so swimming is very tricky and unpleasant. There is a shop in the hotel which sells gifts and overpriced basic things you need in a tropical country - towels, swimwear, sun lotion, mosquito spray.
Cons: I was there for 4 nights, and for 2 days and two nights there was no running water at all, and for another day and night there was only cold water. Imagine not being able to brush teeth, take showers or use the toilet when paying more than EUR340 per night - no food included. I understand it might have been a general city-level problem, but staff should make that clear and not just say 'we'll fix it in 30 minutes' for 3 days. The staff was extremely rude when asked for a partial refund, and redirected me to the President of the country, as "it is his fault". It should also be advertised on booking.com as a warning to travellers. The food is way too overpriced - at EUR25/breakfast, EUR35/lunch and EUR45/dinner, I decided to eat out, which gets you much better food at much lower prices. The hot tubs were out of order, even though it was high season. The pool had clean water, but the bottom was dirty. The hotel room is pretty basic, feels like an Easter-European communist block of flats. You can hear from the other rooms. Toiletries are kept to a minimum - refillable large containers of liquid hair/face/body/soap.
