Cleanliness of room; proximity to sea and mountains (Arahova and Parnassos Ski Center); availability of parking; bar/cafe in hotel; tavernas and stores within walking distance of hotel. Cannot think of any points of improvement.
Friendly staff, central location in the village with easy access to tavernas & local shops, great views, excellent value for money
The hotel was clean, very friendly and had good basic facilities. No
Very friendly hotel, nice owner and staff, room had a fridge very useful, and good location
Hard to say.....but okay the view is nice..mountains plus sea view. The service is poor, rooms are cold no heating system so its not recommended during winter, breakfast is very simple not worth paying 5 euro. Finally I want to mention that Booking .Com should check the location and distance between locations carefully , In Booking.com Iridanos hotel is 12km from Parnasos Ski Resort, however, the actual distance is around 73km, this is a big diffrence, If I knew that its not 12km I will not book in this hotel but I thought that the information in Booking.com is correct,so I'm asking Booking to update and correct information specially the distance from various locations.
Nice view from the balcony to the bay, friendly stuff, room was clean and quiet. Shower space could be a bit larger as bathroom had enough space.
very clean and large room. good furniture. modern look. nice location and view on the terrace. nice staff but not always available. ideal for a trip to delphi. breakfast was rather poor for the price. but you don't have to take it.
Location within fishing village on sheltered inlet Absence of anyone on reception on arrival. Designated person to speak to in adjoining cafe had poor english and was unaware of our anticipated arrival, or breakfast arrangements in the morning. Hotel seemed occupied by people working locally rather than by tourists and room was very smoky with no alternative available (due to absence of hotel reception staff and lack of understanding due to lack of english of our request for a less smoky room)
Everything was ok, very nice place with wonderful location right next to the sea and very nice stuff. Tv was little bit small
The rooms are clean and ladge, calm atmosphere. Nice view from the window. The breakfast was nothing for 5.5 EUR - bread, coffee, juice. I gave it up after first day. The day I was leaving there were nobody at the reception so I could not pay for my stay. Afterword I saw 4 breakfasts price had been taken from my card. There are too many sea-urchins on the beach. The place is not far from aluminium factory.
Location is great, views are breathtaking, VERY comfortable beds (unlikely in Greece), very friendly staff, good breakfast. Overall a pretty good experience. no problems, really
Exceeded expectations! Very clean and comfortable rooms at affordable price. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
Good location for those visiting Delphi. There are good restaurants nearby. The inexpensive ones take cash only, euros or dollars.
They waer very frenly The bathroom very small, specialy the shawer
The lady in the reception was very friendly. Juice and coffee at the breakfast was very thin! Very noicy in the hotel and from the street.
Considering the not-so-good reviews most hotels in Delphi received, this was a great surprise, especially since it was not ranked as one of the most recomended hotels. We chose it based on a hunch and were glad we did that. The hotel is very nice: the room was very clean (which, according to guest reviews, seemed to be an issue with other Delphi hotels), batheoom is small but clean and mostly refurbished, beds are very comforable and there is an elevator (!) (this also seems to be an issue with other Delphi hotels). Breakfast was execellant and the stuff as friendly and helpful as can be.The price is more than reasonable. We were also lucky enought to receive a room with a view (magnificent!!!). All-in-all: a great experience.
The friendliness and helpfulness of Dora, the receptionist, who offered very useful advice about local monasteries. Whilst having a wonderful view our room was somewhat cramped.
Excellent Staff. Very helpful towards our needs and Accomodated us very well.
staff was great. Good location. Air conditioning was not working. One of the main points in convincing us to stay here. Weather was beastly so nights were not great.
The wonderful view/balcony; breakfast; & location no
great staff, amazing hotel-fantastic views, close to the Archeological site
Perfect, greek countryside experience. The family rooms that were connecting supported our family needs. Fantastic views. Outstanding service. Great greek breakfast. The bathrooms were pretty challenging. It would be helpful to have them updated, we only stayed one night here so no problem. We could not have done a week in the room given the bathroom situation.
The location Lack of soundproofing.
Great location with a stunning view over the gorge from our room almost made up for everything else. Room was otherwise adequate but small.Staff were very friendly and helpful (as best they could be in the circumstances) Unfortunately a large school party arrived shortly after us - lots of noise until 3am which rather spoiled our stay. On complaining we were left with the feeling that it was our fault for not complaining more at the time. Schools should only be accepted if groups are adequately supervised - the teachers did little to stop the noise and seemed to find it acceptable.
Perfect location, splendid view and awesome room
The staff were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, good location, got excellent value
The breakfast was very good and we had a wonderful view from the rooms. The hotel was also very accomodating about our large family group with joined rooms for the 9 of us. There was very little and, at times, no water in the room. Only one of the nine of us was able to have a shower with any water pressure. The rest of us showered with only a trickle of water and we were often not able to flush the toilets.
The view was excellent. The bathroom was too small, only a tiny shower, very difficult to wash comfortably.
The view was astonishing. Large balcony. Lobby and dining room were welcoming. Perfect location away from the noise of traffic. The room was large enough to accommodate two comfortable sitting chairs and we would have appreciated that.
cramped rooms, triple rooms need to be bigger good view from balcony
Our rooms had breath-taking views of the mountains and valley. The location in Delphi is excellent, right on the side of the mountain. Parking was scarce
Helpful staff, good location, reasonable price (good value for the money). We were also given good advice as to where to stay at our next destination.
Excellent location in the middle of Delphi, beautiful view from the balcony. It was quiet, had internet, easy parking on the street (at least when we were there in August), and was walking distance from everything. Its not luxury but its decent value.
Great location, friendly staff, decent breakfast, nice view from the room. The room could have been cleaner, but it was acceptable for budget hotel standards.
Excellent location..frieindly,helpful,good breakfast all good..beds a bit small for people over 6foot
friendly staff, location, breakfast faulty insulation between the bedrooms
The visit to the Pan Hotel is all about walking through the ancient ruins of Delphi. The room was very clean with a wonderful balcony and canyon view. Our room had a long large tub to soak tired muscles in. It was good value for the money. Our room's air conditioner/heater did not work, so we had to leave the outside balcony door open all night to keep cool. That allowed flying insects in, which were annoying. The bathtub drain was in need of repair as it came out the floor drain if allowed to all flow at once.
We had room on the back side of the hotel with nice view of the valley towards the see. Clean and confortable room. OVerall good price/value ratio. Breakfast in a bit oldfashion room. Parking on main road.
tour of Delphi This small family hotel is very good in everything - location, staff, service except the small and somewhat old shower in the toilet.
The lobby and restaurant were nice. However, the rooms were very worn out and dirty. They need new carpet and furniture. I also could not control the heat in the rooms.
The room was very oudated, the restaurant was not open for dinner
empty hotel, only several guests. quiet environment. friendly service, would come back. rooms are old but plenty of space. only one dinner plate breakfast was missing yohourt, more fresh fruit no touristical information on delphi, main reason why most guest were there from the road bad signs, no adress on the website, no gps direction to use, we had to ask in the village at an other hotel to find your location
I enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff, the great views and delicious breakfast served. I would have liked the option of swimming after 9 p.m.
It was awful. They charged us 220 euro per night and they gave us a room that did not worth nor 50euro. The walls were not painted in some places, the bathroom was disguasting and the wooden furnituree was back from the 60s', with the orginal scratches. Trully awful. Not to mention about the carpet, which was so dirty you did not want to walk in the room.
Space in the rooms Distance from Delfi
NIce location close to Delphi and the mountains - good parking facilities.
very kind staff the water was hot and then cold....
Nice hotel in nice area. Good facilities and kind staff. Room too small for 4 persons.
The Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in between Delphi and Arachova, a good location. The town of Arachova has an excellent Souvlaki junk just as you enter the main street. Only has 3 table and bar stools but the best we had on our whole 2wk trip. Needs to be made brighter and more inviting as you enter the Hotel. They were doing construction on the side of the hotel and appears very unsightly.
If you want to be a bit away from the main area in Nafploi, this is a great place, but it is difficult to get there without a car. THe owners were young and really helpful- Alex gave us lots of useful information. Totally chill palce and very pretty. The pool overlooks the moutains, its stunning. The only thing I would say is that since it is a bit remote- not easy to get to store quickly, they should provide bottled water free of charge, since the water is not guaranteed safe to drink
The hotel only opened in February 2008 and everything was brand new and finished to a very high standard. We stayed in September which is between seasons for the hotel and we benefitted from personal attention from the Koutras family who own and run the hotel. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was large, well appointed and there was a stunning view from the balcony We have no complaints
The best was the staff and installations. I can't complain about nothing in there. I liked a lot having a chimney at the room.
very quiet and admirably situated, everyone very kind and agreeable even if a little overwhelmed still not quite "finished", understaffed because off season perhaps? and facilities not all usable even if the ones that were were great
The Aegli has all the facilities of a luxury hotel but everyone there is so helpful and pleasant that is has a real family feel about it. The bar and restrurant were excellent, the hotel a great place to relax. The Spa/Gym/Pool very good.
Wonderful staff, excellent setting and relaxing atmosphere. The design and location of the swimming pool is worth the trip. I highly recommend this hotel.
I loved the view from our room. I wish they had better room service
the location was beautiful Not really- some drawers for clothes storage and in room hot drinks making facilities could improve things
The stuff was very polite and helpful. The luxury and the services was excellent. The location amazing and quiet. Great spa and very big pool. This is not just a hotel its a palace. You can have everything you need, more than you can imagine. The view from our balcony, just gorgeous. The bath was very big and very detailed. For sure the best resort in the area. Just 8 km from the Delphi museum!
the staff gave a very good and personal service that made our stay much better the 'finish' was off in a few places - loose fittings, etc - maybe because it is very new
Staff was friendly, hotel is located in the mountains about 20 km from Delphi. Tea was not included in the breakfast!
The room according to its price it was very nice and the hotel facilities were also very nice spa heated swimming pool etc
Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel at just fews km from Arachova and Delfi. We really like the amazing room and the breakfast served on the terrace. The sourranding is very relaxing expecially at summer time: fresh air and beautiful view of Parnasso Mountain.
- Excellent services,staff and environment. A place/hotel to go...
the bedroom was very nice and the service and breakfast very goog lobby and common areas are quite old not too well care compare with the rooms that are very good.
It was difficult to find the entrance of the hotel. No internet connection in the room. Very poor breakfast. Even though it was stated that we would get a suit, we got a simple room.
Fantastic loction, beautiful views, friendly staff, attractive rooms
Not like a chain hotel! Interesting place. Not clear about facilities available.
THe situation, cleanliness and overall feel of the place not applicable
Quiet, spectacular views, near the city centre
Exelent location - short drive to Delfi We give the rooms 5 star
We had a huge room and a very large bathroom. The manager, Dimitris, was fabulous. He recommended a terrific restaurant not in our guidebooks. We had trouble with our car arriving in Arachova, and he got roadside assistance and otherwise helped us cut through the difficulties in a country where we don't speak the language.
Great location in a gorgeous little town. Delightful.
Great location. Very clean chalet type hotel in popular winter ski area. Easy walk into town and quick drive to Delphi ruins. Great breakfast, clean room, nce people at a good price.
Friendly staff. Poor facilities. Some rooms are located 2 storeys below the entrance level, with almost no view and limited natural light. The room ventilation is not adequate. The room/wc construction is extremely poor and old. in conclusion the building is not suited for hotel use. The breakfast is below average from same price range Greek hotels. This guesthouse is overpriced.
Staf was friendlz and helpul.
The breakfast was great, the location excellent and the view from the balcony breathtaking! The air-condition system was always in high temperatures, there was no parking available near the hotel and some employees were really bad-tempered!
good location, value for money we had a quite noisy room
Stunnıng vıews lovely clean rooms and frıendly staff.
Very good location with beautiful view on Corint and on the other side a main street, friendly stuff, optimistic design with nice carpets,
Central location and the receptionist gave us some good recommendations for the dinner venue. Our room had a great view. The bathroom was tiny, the sink was leaking. Breakfast was poor. There was a big problem at the arrival because we didn't have our reservation printed. so the receptionist sent us to the internet cafe to print it. However, the internet cafe had no printer, so we were walking up and down Delfi to find a computer with a printer. When leaving the hotel, we had to pay in cash.
Location. We walked to ancient site and museum. Parking right up front of hotel. Shops and restaurants right next to hotel. Very nice view off of balcony. Rate good. Read all signs posted behind check-in desk. Rooms were clean and simple. A/c worked great. Breakfast was not good. Coffee tasted old and juice was watered down. We stayed in rooms a/b since we traveled with another couple. Some of the rooms pictured on website don't reflect the rooms we stayed in.
It was easy to reach the hotel because it is located at the center of Delphi. Besides, depending on the floor, the room can be fair or excellent. We stayed at First floor and we did not have good views. However, the top rooms had an excellent view of the valley. The mattress and the pillows were unconfortable. The toilet quite old and small. Do not trust the photographs of the hotel! It depends on the location of the room.
The location is just perfect. Very friendly. Nice enviroment
The hotel owner was really friendly.
We could not rave enough about the hotel, the service, the value, the location.... we had such a wonderful time!!! Thanks! Not a thing.
friedly helpful staff convenient location...lovely warm room with suberb views as requested shower needed some repair
Great location and great atmosphere !
The room had a great balcony view and they had a small complimentary bottle of wine waiting for me. I got to sit in the evening drinking the wine and watching the sunset over the Gulf of Corinth. Upon leaving, every guest receives a dvd of Dephi and a bottle of ozu. Although it wasn't a problem for me as the man who checked me in carried my suitcase up, there is no lift. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage just be prepared.
Readily helped us with our luggage. Good homemade breakfast.
the rooms are spare but clean. the view more than makes up for it. the staff was very courteous..
Room was very clean and was a short walk to the Delphi site
Hotel staff was very polite. Excellent view from the room's balcony.
The hotel staff is very welcoming and the decor is very nice. The view from our balcony was great and the room was comfortable. Having access to a free PC to check email was very helpful. We would stay in the hotel again and recommend it to our friends. Shower was a bit small and hard to use, but typical of showers in many of the smaller Greek hotels.
The design, the comfort, the staff
The staff were helpful and pleasant Would have liked air conditioning.
The rooms were nicely decorated good size, comfy bed and clean! The breakfast needs fruits, tomatoes and scrumbled eggs...
The personnel were very helpful in planning our travel to sights. The hotel was quiet and very beautiful. The breakfast was nice. The location is good for touring the town on foot and very near a bus stop to take you to the ancient ruins of Delphi. Their internet was working all the time. They had a hair dryer when asked but did not keep it in the room
very friendly staff speaking fluent English who gave us useful information and even asked us for ways to improve the hotel (!), cosy room with a fire place and very nice looking interior, really comfortable beds with pre-shaped cushions and lavender cloth! parking space at the hotel which does not lie along the noisy main street of Arachova but is still easily accessible, good breakfast despite the altitude, it can be warm in the upper rooms on a hot summer day, so air-conditioning would be a welcome addition (which the owner says he will install before summer 2009)
I certainly was not expecting a hotel this nice for the price we paid. Very nice inside - comfortable beds - upscale bathroom with full size shower. The guy running the hotel was very nice and spoke great English - breakfast was good - place to park and everything - loved it! I got a little scared when I saw the "vertical road" - it really waas vertical - but there is a road that goes up behind the hotel to park at.
Rustic charm and good facilities. Very helpful staff. Good location to explore Delphi.
Very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Very nice welcome from the owner of the hotel. Quiet environment, very close to Delphi site by car. We highly recommend.
all was great , from the staff to the location
The hotel was well situated on the edge of the town and the staff were helpful Although the hotel claims a private car park which was the reason I chose it. The car park is a piece of open ground available to anyone and not illuminated.
The staff was incredibly warm with us and helped us having one of the best weekends ever. The parking issue is solved and the suite we used was very comfortable.
The hotel is simple but very clean, the staff ıs friendly, and the view from the balcony is breathtakıng. İ would stay there agaın if İ come back to Delfoi.
View from room Breakfast barely satisfactory, poor quality food & coffee, minimal portions
The owner was very nice and picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station even though it wasnt very far to walk. \nice clean room. Good value
Simple and relaxed, friendly and great breakfast, helpfull staff
Great location, parked down street in public parking, was able to meet the family, George the owner recommended a favorite restaurant which we enjoyed, could probably walk to Delphi
We stayed at the Pitho rooms for 3 nights and had a family triple room which was clean and spacious. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome by George & Vicky. George was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local ancient sites and the history of Delphi, which made our short stay a really great experience. The hotel itself is in a great location in the centre of Delphi, and provides a superb base to explore the surrounding area. We would certainly recommend the Pitho rooms to anyone looking for good, clean, accomodation, with a lovely friendly atmosphere.
It is a small, familiar and very clean hotel. The owners are very, very friendly and help us with luggage up the stairs and with parking to our car. They try always to satisfy our needs.
Everything, in the middle of the town new great place. Nope just great.
Pitho was a great location, easy walk to Delphi and close to bus depot for arrival and departure. Rooms were comfortable and owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not plentiful and the owner asked for cash when we checked out not credit card. Luckily that was not a problem at the time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful--they chatted with us about our trip and provided recommendations for where to go and what to do. The rooms were simple and clean. Breakfast was great, and included home made condiments. The hotel is tough to find, especially in the dark. Keep your eyes out! I think parking would also be very tough in the high season, if you have your own car.
Very convienent to the ruins and some of our party went on an 8 hour hike while the rest of us could explore the village. I felt the effort the host family went through to make our stay pleasant. They are a hard working family.
Staff was great, breakfast was wonderful, overall an excellent stay!
It was lovely to be welcomed by George when we arrived - he was waiting on the street for us and was very helpful. It was a friendly family-run small hotel. We were made to feel part of the family.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful!
