best was location breakfastroom too crowded in the morning,
General atmosphere and appearance No bar lounge service after midnight
Breakfast choices Room tempertaure control not available
The location: the centre!! The price for the room: good! The price for breakfast was rediculous: too expensive!!! The staff was fairly rude!!!
The staff of the hotel was very attentive and ready to help at any moment The temperature in the room was very cold, the central heating didn't work
A very good location for our visit to the Theater Hotel and we will certainly stay with you the next time we are in Antwerp. This time the room was not of the same standard as when we stayed with you on our last visit
Friendly staff and clean hotel Bathrooms are very clean but somewhat old fashioned
Kindness of hotel staff, enough space in the room
Location, hotelroom, friendly staff.
were upgraded to superiour room without additional charges room was located on 2nd floor with the back window coming out onto the car park which caused a lot of noise from people getting into their car and slamming doors etc. during the night. Would not recommend the same room to anyone.
Beautiful stay at the hotel. Perfect location and the room was nice very nice and comfortable. For sure I will come back again. Breakfast was too expensive, so I didn't try.
A friendly environment in the heart of Antwerp with all comfort.
Superb location, so central. The staff member at reception on checking in was really friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very spacious as was the bathroom where the shower cubicle was separate from the bath which I love The price - it is very expensive though you do get what you pay for
We liked the central location, near shops, restaurants and touristic sights and the size, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms
Big rooms, comfortable beds, 2 chairs, big bathroom, good shower, great location just a block or so from the cathedral Staff kept asking for a voucher. I sent them the confirmation email and eventually that satisfied them.
Staff were competent, helpful and genuinely friendly.
Very good breakfast. Cleanliness. Good bed Everything OK
privacy, quiet, central location shower broken. Towels had holes in them.
As always: I like the location and the nice atmosphere of this hotel. It is very clean and the staff is realy nice and helpfull. Great breakfast. So I will look forward to my next stay .
Able to utilise my HHonours so free upgrade to Executive Suite and Lounge
They didnt respect your reservation and tell us they dont have rooms even we get confirmation from kayak
The breakfast was very good, the room was big and clean. Yes, For such a expensive hotel wireless should be for free! A pit poor that you have to buy this at reception.
The room was light and cheerful and the included breakfast was excellent. Good location. Staff spoke perfect English and was always helpful. Nothing that Ican think of.
Quiet location in the centre of Antwerpen, breakfast is ok, clean hotel. a bit expensive but that might be logical for such a room on such a location.
It was very nice to have a private garden. My wife smokes and we had a non smoking room. It was very nice to have a garden where it was allowed to smoke.
I appriciated the serviceminded and kind staff. The room was clean, which is very important for me. Good breakfast. No free access to internet.
location ambiance and room furnishings
Big rooms, excellent location Parking was full. We were adviced to go to park along the river, which turned out to be very expensive (38 E for 24 hours). We only found out after picking up the car.
Excellent situation in the heart of the historic centre. Also a very individual hotel totally unlike the usual business chains / brands
Smiling faces. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We had an upgraded room as the hotel was not full. Welcome glass of sherry or port
The breakfast was nice and the complimentary evening drinks were a nice touch Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The room felt a bit like staying in a multi storey carpark. There was no ambience
Good breakfast helpful staff. Improvement for the room stated above
they could have done more with the rooms. Concrete floors and ceilings are not very appealing to me. Also you should not save money on beds. They could have been better quality so as the sheets; We paid 135 euro a night so you would expect better quality.
The Banks was an excellent little hotel, perfect location, very funky rooms which were even an ok size, nice helpful staff, very nice breakfast included and great value for money. Its new and seems not quite finished yet, but no major construction going on just small things. Very highly recommended, if you want a nice cheap Design Hotel in Antwerp.
The staff was helpful and eager to please. The room was clean with a good view of the city. The hotel rooms has no television or internet access. It was a little too modern for my tastes. The price of a 'suite' seemed too much considering the room.
The Location, the free dinks buffet during happy hour. Small room and transparent (glass) wall between toilet and sleeping part of the room.
I really like this hotel and would love to give it a rave review. The rooms are very nice, but sterile. A simple fresh flower would help. The hotel lacks the perfect balance between what it wants to be and what it actually is. They have a night entrance and no evening personnel. I felt a bit uneasy with this. The air conditioning unit started leaking water in the middle of the night. Sadly, it is a very impersonal experience. I feel it is priced a bit too high considering the lack of amenities and services.
The hotel is need and very modern--clean, comfortable bed. Flowing coffee. Close to the center of Antwerp. No telephone service in room! I did got my receipt when I left early on Sunday, Sept 14 because no one was manning reception early. But I already paid my bill upon check-in.
The Banks Hotel is well-situated in the city center, particularly for those in town for a fashion industry related trip. Also, there is a coffee/tea machine in the lobby that is self-serve for guests, and a complimentary happy hour + tapas from 16h30-20h30. The hotel lobby closes at 20h30 and from that point forward, guests have to enter through a side door by swiping a badge-- it works fine, but is not the most hospitable move for a hotel of its stature. The rooms have an industrial aesthetic which is appealing, though the lack of color makes it feel a bit 'cold.'
Good location in central antwerp, but quiet. Good parking nearby. Had stayed at the hotel for some business trips in the past with postive experience. Decided to stay on family weekend, however would not reccomend this hotel for family! Was made to feel quite unwelcome by the staff, the room is far too small for a cot, (we are unable to move) and the terms for costs relating to the hotel providing a cot were not at all clear and the hotel was completely un flexible around this. Also we paid extra for a top floor room. Website gave impression that this was giving some advatange, but there was absolutely none - Do not book this option. Overall dissapointed.
breakfast, hotel design price too high for the service, room to be decorated on the wall
I like the refinement - both in the decor and the attitude of the staff. Nothing.
Ambiance, location, friendly staff Room was a bit noisy
The hotel was clean and comfortable and very near the city centre Our room overlooked the front and a tram goes past constantly
it was personalised. It was attractive and the rooms appeared to be very individula the breakfast was poor. No pot of coffee merely a machine with small cups. Noone to help with luggage. Shower in bathroom was cramped and bath was small
The location was very convenient. The room was very old and the window was a bit difficult to close
Location and a very quiet room 24 hour tea and coffee in reception; reception staff helpful although they did mislead us over the Brussels railway stations for Eurostar (It is midi/Zuid not Central!) Room was not that great and walls quite dirty; bathroom also old and not feeling clean. Breakfast was poor at 9 am after the other guests had taken most of it; on quieter day it was excellent. Also not easy to get taxis there - didn't bother us as we could walk.
Second time at this hotel in Antwerp. It's an independent hotel that caters for guests who want something different. Lovely building and the decor plays on a classical style. Most importantly very clean room with little noise as its set off from the main road. Relaxed crowd typical of Antwerp, which is a positive.
The reception staff were very very helpful, it was quiet but central location, nice design of classic building, would stay there again. Breakfast, the scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage was cold, but the breakfast lady said that it was warm. not good.
Good location and friendly staff
It is in the centre of one of the best towns in Belgium. Dinner, shopping, museum and river Scheldt are all in walking distance with excellent parking facilities. Hotel was nicely decorated and breathed ambiance.
Our Junior Suite was spacious, with a huge and comfortable double bed, 2-seat sofa plus armchair. The room also had an Internet corner, safe, minibar, trouser-press, small TV with dvd player, and a good bathroom with plenty of towels, bathrobes, and soaps/gels etc. The breakfast was excellent, with a coffee machine available 24 hours. The hotel is quietly situated on the corner of 2 small streets, yet just a 5-minute stroll to the Grote Markt, shops and dozens of restaurants. It would be difficult to imagine a better place to stay for a city break to Antwerp.
The excellent location in the centre of the city The room was fairly small and crowded with furniture.
Location was great, but it was not a boutique hotel and the staff welcome was average. No atmosphere, poor value for money.
the room is really spaciouse and it can easily fit two people the toilet has no privacy and i would prefer if this could be closed or behind a door
Cool restaurant with patio. Good location. Nice rooms. Nice staff. AC. Strange design. Dark lighting in hallways. I think could be slightly cheaper, but still decent value.
late check in
The personel of the hotel was polite and the decoration of the room was nice. At midnight reception/restaurant are closed. In fact at that time you enter in the hotel with the room's key which is unsafe. No mini bar at the room,if thirsty there is one small bottle in the room otherwise you have to use tap water. There was no heating and despite my complains same was not repaired.
The kindness of the staff and the quality of the service were really awesome. The quality of the hotel is very good. The restaurant is excellent.
It was very intimate and the hotel took the time to make sure our experience was good. .
What a fantastic Hotel, great room quite large and a very cool decor. The best I have been in for a while, very well styled and a good restaurant with a nice terrace, the breakfast was also very good. I loved this hotel and will stay there again
This is what we expect from a hotel: Clean, beautiful design, friendly staff, good location and good food. Hotel Les Nuits has it all: the hotel-restaurant was full on friday and saturday (!!), we had a delicious dinner, shopping was right across the street, room was perfect, not to big but with everything we needed. The restaurant & hotel staff working with a smile. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. They understand what service is all about. With 20 rooms, you never get the "chain-hotel with 325 rooms"- feeling!
Good design and space of rooms, though some poorly executed details ( i'm an architect). Good breakfast (though a touch expensive). Very good location for centre of town. It's a new hotel so there were bound to be teething problems; we had to wait 30mins for our room to be prepared when we arrived mid afternoon. They said they were closed on sundays (after 12). very often there was no one at reception. The security was questionable with the front door open through the night and no staff so easy access to floors.
The hotel was in a good location, right near the main square. Hotel is clean and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also, they have complimentary tea/coffee/soft drinks in the lobby. It was hard to find. The road that it's located on isn't on many maps because of how small it is.
Location. Restaurants are open late. Room too small. No bath, shower only. Safe did not work. Water kettle turned coffee/tea salty. Too many little annoyances. Poor breakfast. (good scrambled eggs though) . Internet cable too short. Bring your own.
The location, perfect for the historic centre of Antwerp and the design district. One problem, common to all city centre hotels, is the noise from the street.
Very nice rooms, very good location
Super location in the middle of the old city. Excellent breakfast served at a neighboring wine restaurant. You are within minutes from all the great sights and excellent in Antwerp. I happened to get the noisy room. My room was close to the reception where everyone passes. But the assured told me that the all other rooms are quiet and next time I should ask for a quiet room.
Relaxed, friendly, very attentive sevice. Excellent help booking and recommending special restaurants. Lovely to unwind by the intimate open fire with complimentary glass of beer or wine after a long day sightseeing and shopping. Simple but chic accommodation. Great showers. The sophisticated sound system in the room was erratic and the plug in the bathroom basin did not work, but these were small inconveniences.
The staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Always smiling. With it being a smaller hotel it felt much more personal, and when we arrived the person who checked us in made us feel really wecome. Check in was quick, we were in our room in minutes - which was great after a long journey to get there. Overall our stay in this hotel was a comfortable experience. We had read reviews saying the rooms were too small, however we found ours to be absolutely fine, we had no problems - and we had a fair bit of luggage with us. The ceiling was not as sound proof as we would have liked, we could clearly hear the people above moving around above us. Had they been doing this very late at night or often it would have disturbed our sleep. However the double glazing shut out any noise from the street - which made the room quiet otherwise.
Good accommondation, Good service
Good location and relaxed. Friendly staff smoke smell in room
I found the hotel comfortable and ideal for the city centre.Reception staff were very helpful nothing
Quiet perfect location, and price/quality value.
great location, set in residential area charged twenty euros for 3 year old child breakfast even though they shared existing bed. No change for parking provided.
The vicinity to the old town No airconditioning, no sitting room as stated. All members of staff were professional, except an elderly woman AM Sunday 5th August. My wife was merely trying to seek clarification on our bookings when this woman spoke down to her and raised her voice, the behaviour resembled that of a child having a tantrum.
The staff was excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable, the atmosphere very relaxed and homey.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have unusually comfortable chairs. It was not possible to get a second key to the room.
Very central and authentic. Very friendly staff. When booking and when checking in I asked a late check out and didn't get it, although the hotel didn't seem fully booked. No fridge in the room.
close to center of old town. Not what was expected for a 4 star rating. Very worn out appearance. The hotel should advise that only sub-compacts can fit in the parking area.
Well located hotel lack of minibar
