The Andy Griffith Museum
We liked being able to park right outside of the room. It was also an easy location to tourist attractions we wanted to visit. They were unable to provide us with an accessible room. They did keep us on the ground floor though.
Far off the highway . Got there and said was king with smoking . I am severely allergic to smoke. Instead he gives us. A room with a double bed . My husband ,daughter and I had to sleep on a double bed . Onet towel in room . Horrible
The owner and attendant are incredibly personable and friendly. Everything I could have asked for in an economic stay!
the view of the Blue Ridge parkway everything else, all rooms had a screen door. The first room they took us to was missing the bottom screen. The room smelled terrible, musty. It had the smell like if you removed 40 year old clothes out of a trunk that was in a damp basement or cellar for the last 40 years. The woman could see my wife's facial expression and said I will take you to another room. The second room the woman took us to the screen door had plexi-glass instead of screens and the door closer was missing. She handed me the key and left. The room smelled the same, I wouldn't even set on the chair. The blinds for the back window was broke and hanging, the window ac had a roll of duct tape holding it in, there was stink bugs on the inside of the front window. I took pics and my wife and I went on down the road and found a hotel at the interstate. I want back, the woman was outside, I handed her the keys and told her I can't stay there, just can't, not my cup of tea. I Told her it was nothing personal, just can't sleep there and I left, didn't even ask for my money back, just drove away fast.
