Pros: It was very calm and tranquil
Pros: Very clean and a great location
Cons: Room 121 the aircom didn’t work, it did at first when we arrived but in the evening it wouldn’t switch on so room was very hot during the night even with the window open
Pros: Really glad we chose this Hotel, it was superb. Its in the centre of Caravaca, easy to find and park, and within walking distance of everything you will want to see. Reception staff were lovely, very friendly and parking on site is a bonus and is very secure. Checking in and out was great. Our twin room, whilst small, was very well equipped and absolutely spotless and plenty of storage in the modern, sliding wardrobe. The bed was comfy and plenty of extra blankets and a spare pillow were in the wardrobe. The bathroom was spotless, with basic liquid soap for the shower and handbasin. The air con doubles up as a heater so all temperatures are catered for. A Great hair dryer too and the shower was great. The wifi works all over the hotel, so again, a bonus. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice and all very good quality. Again, the dining room is spotless, and you find a table with your room number on it. As for the building - wow. It's beautiful. Even if you are not religious, you will find this hotel tranquil, friendly, comfortable and at a fabulous price, but we loved all the paintings and statues, the court-yard garden, the guest lounge on the 1st floor, everything. It's certainly different, but well worth a nights stay or two in the centre of Caravaca. I wouldn't hesitate staying again should be venture back there.
Cons: Nothing - it's a fabulous place to stay
Pros: The Hospederia is perfect and the staff are fabulous.
Cons: The Hospederia is perfect
Pros: Immaculate and good location with friendly staff
Cons: Coffee was awful.
Pros: Brilliant place to stay
Cons: I liked everything

Pros: Location. Friendly staff
Cons: Parking rules
Pros: The Hotel was clean, bed really comfortable, excellent breakfast, and very friendly, helpful staff.
Pros: The breakfast was superb, several big coffees toast croissants pure orange juice and plenty of banter with staff. sat outside where there are several tables, a fab start to the day!
Cons: it would be mean to moan about anything to be honest, at a push some nice shower gel , notwithstanding there are plenty of freebees in the bathroom .
Pros: the room was excellent very clean, towels changed daily. the staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. the breakfast was great and the location perfect..
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Bed comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and air conditioning
Cons: Maybe at least an English new channel on the TV.
Pros: Close to the old town, cathedral and castle. Excellent location. Was only here one night and it was a pleasant stay.
Pros: Great value for money. Central location.
Cons: Lovely boutique hotel. Superb value for money. Lovely staff and good location.
Pros: Friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Free coffee while the room was prepared. 10 mins walk to Basilica and Los Arcos.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from the historic centre of Caravaca de la Cruz, this modern hotel offers spacious rooms with air conditioning and heating. Free Wi-fi and free private on-site parking are available. All rooms at Malena Hotel feature tiled flooring, a work desk and an armchair. They are all equipped with flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Some rooms have a balcony and separate seating area. Hotel Malena’s restaurant serves typical regional dishes, including grilled meats and home-grown ham. Malena is 50 km from the city of Lorca and about 1 hours’ drive from Murcia. Pros: Real spanish
Pros: Room was clean and warm. Wifi was very good.
Cons: Mattresses were too hard as were the pillows. The mini fridge wasn’t working but to be fair we didn’t persue it. The shower was lovely and hot, but the temperature kept fluctuating from cold to dangerously hot. Restaurant was closed on the night of our arrival. Information about the opening times of the restaurant in reception would be useful !
Pros: The rooms, hotel and attached restaurant were exceptionally clean. The decor, finish and appointments were far superior than the on site star rating suggested. The food was awesome.
Cons: There was very little not to like. You may need to have a basic understanding of Spanish
Pros: There was no coffee making facility in our room
Pros: Staff were very helpful and attentive, food (just had tapas) was excellent and very well priced. House red wine was very good.
Cons: Slightly hard to find as outside of Caravaca de Cruz but not far and quite area with plenty of parking.
Pros: It was comfortable & clean
Cons: The location - too far out of town
Pros: The Hotel was located conveniently for our evening visit to Caravaca. There was a warm welcome, our room was spotlessly clean, had all we required and the sanitary ware in the bathroom was very new, even a lid on the bidet! The range of toiletries were very good, including toothbrushes and toothpaste so better than some bigger hotels. There was a bar that served tasty tapas and a restaurant with a varied menu.
Cons: Because of the location, the hotel took on the feel of a Motel, with lots of passing traffic and local visitors and work people, so obviously a very popular place to call in to. However, Room 110 was situated directly above the very busy bar with TV, that closed late and was opened up again very early. The room had noisy plumbing/sound of water in radiators running throughout the night and the constant noise from traffic made for an almost sleepless night, so not what we expected and disappointing compared to everything else.
Cons: Was not told restaurant and bar would not be open, staff were not interested in the slightest.Only option I had was to walk to the petrol station half a mile away in 30degree heat for snacks,no one on reception on arrival or departure???

Pros: Beautiful location with heaps of space and very well equipped kitchen. It was a little hard to find but Jose Manuel was great with helping us find the place, and very friendly! Perfect if you want to spend time hiking or exploring surrounding places. Not far from Cehegin. We’ll definitely be back, thanks Jose Manuel! (be aware that you probably need a car to stay here)
Pros: Location and hosts. Lovely setting in woodlans with a few walks starting right outside. You will need a car but there is plenty of parking. 4 k from town so take all your food. Little hard to find but once of main road there is a sign to left for Abriega about 2/3 km does not give name. Follow for further 2km and see sign. Spacious dorms. .
Pros: Very good location, friendly staff English speakers and German. Clean and tidy. Strongly recommend.

Pros: We were in Caravaca for a business trip and wanted a hotel that was close to the town, quiet, clean, friendly with the usual business amenities. Jardines de Casablanca met all of our expectations and more. We were welcomed right from the start and our hosts were fantastic. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time we visit Caravaca.
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful property, perfect hosts. The room was spacious and impeccable, equipped with everything you need and, just like the rest of the property, very well thought out. All too often, restored country estates still look run down once remodelled, like some other places we stayed at in the past. Not Jardines de Casablanca, where the owners were able to strike a perfect balance between preserving the character and charm of an "old" farmhouse and offering all of today's conveniences, with a keen eye for detail. We have stayed in places all over the world, from humble one star lodgings to renowned five star hotels. Jardines de Casablanca definitely ranks among our top five!
Cons: Really nothing we can think of.

Pros: Fabulously located casa de campo offering fabulous rooms and a stunning swimming pool. Tapas including freshly made gazpacho at our request was much appreciated.
Cons: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and return. Fresh fruit at breakfast and/or fresh orange juice would have been ‘the icing on the cake’!
Pros: great breakfast and service
Pros: Cosy arrangement of lounge and breakfast rooms.
Pros: Martin & Denise were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable & tranquil stay. The property itself is beautiful & in a most delightful rural setting. The accommodation has been created with excellent taste. Highly recommended.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Pros: It was a great location! The house is really cool and old, which was fun! The owners helped us reserve a table is Caravaca for dinner, and the dinner was amazing! They could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. It was too cold for us to use the pool, but that looked nice.
Cons: The only really complaint is the bed was really uncomfortable. The sheets were super scratchy and the mattress was very springy, old.

Cons: Location very hard to find, up 3 flights of very steep stairs. The only towels in the bathroom were hand towels, no big towels for shower etc. Decor very strange! To the point of weird! Felt more like a shrine than a B and B room! Overall felt very uncomfortable!b

Pros: I was allowed to park my motorcycle in the underground garage which was great. The host moved his car for me to allow my bike in. All at no extra cost. I also received a great list of recommendations for the day.
Cons: Thin walls - a bit noisy from other guests
Cons: Chucked me out for having plugs that were health and safety hazards. When I said I got a shock and the plug came off the wall they tried to make me pay for it as if it was my fault. Which it clearly wasn't. When I wouldn't they chucked me out...
