9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, the host exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional and the accommodation was stylish and 'bang on trend'. For example outstanding quality bedding, complimentary local whisky/cheese board on arrival. To top it all was the service of breakfast to the room which was of the highest standard.
Cons: Unfortunately the numerous positives were undone by a loosely termed bathroom as being near to unusable. We were unable to close the door and the location of the bed was touching distance of the toilet. Disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rustic, homey and beautiful. Welcome cheese and whisky platter. Chef quality breakfast served in our own private sun room. It doesn't get much better. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Not a thing.

Pros: The location was excellent overlooking Loch Long. The bedroom had a sitting room so breakfast could be taken there looking out over the view. There was a fabulous welcome tray with a wee dram and cheese! The host was really friendly and gave good suggestions for our onward route. There were several pillows so you could choose the right ones for you! The local Pub, the Village Inn served excellent food at good prices.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: WOWZERS! What a stay. Just had 2 nights here, kicked ourselves for not staying longer. Communication from the owner prior to our stay was great, on arrival the greeting was amazing, offered a little whiskey and cheese and crackers, a lovely touch. The room was outstanding, I loved it. The decor was beautiful, someone has an amazing eye for it. Very comfy bed, loads of pillows. the white company toiletries..... I could go on! The most amazing breakfast cooked as you wait. Beautifully presented and tasted divine. The owner Matt gave us a personally printed map and instructions to make our day the best it could have been. Wonderful stay!

Pros: Breakfast was delicious. I chose the canadian pancakes with fresh berries and was glad I did. The hosts, Taryn and Ewan, were delightful and really made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay at this guest house again, should we ever find ourselves in this part of Scotland.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great - the room, the breakfast, the friendly hosts, the location, the views - this is a great place to stay and we would stay again/recommend to friends. Euan and Taryn were always on hand to assist and provided some good tips for things to do in the area. It was a rainy night, so it was amazing to stay the night in a warm place with a very cosy vibe. Also waking up to a view of the highlands right in front of you was a treat. Head north-east in the morning along the single lane road that takes you by the River Orchy and up to the Bridge of Orchy - this is a must!
Cons: Nothing, it was just a really good stay all in all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received an incredibly warm welcome and really enjoyed our overnight stay here. Nicely decorated room and communal area with great scenic view of the hills opposite. Lovely breakfast and would recommend the Canadian pancakes! 10/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hosts in Scotland! Ewan & Taryn are wonderful. They responded to our pre-arrival queries about dinner recommendations promptly, offering to make bookings for us and greeted us warmly on arrival with further local info (Dalmally is tiny). A dram and a chat after dinner was lovely, but best of all they sang Happy Birthday to my husband at breakfast! Oh, and the house is gorgeous - beautifully decorated, plus there are board games and a record player in the lounge (quirky record collection). Loved everything about our stay.
Cons: Nothing not to like!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very nice and extensive. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful. The B&B is a 10min walk from train station and a small grocery shop. Restaurants are also close by.
Cons: Our bathroom only had a tub and no holder for the shower which meant you had to shower while on your knees (or actually take a bath, if you prefer).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can not say enough good things about this property and I was the WORST type of guest. My plane was delayed and then our car was having issues. We ended up at the property so late but everyone was so accommodating. Even when we arrived at 3 am. Breakfast was perfect. Standard full breakfast options but deliciously prepared. The view is phenomenal, the rooms with en-suite are comfortable. Amazing selection of cocoa/tea/coffee with biscuits. I’m impressed.
Cons: The only thing I had any issue with was the door lock on room 3 is finicky. Took me forever to figure it out!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying at Inverardran House Bed and Breakfast was fantastic, would highly recommend! The breakfast was spectacular, our hosts were friendly, conscientious and funny, the location was fantastic - beautiful and rugged, middle of nowhere but with a great pub right across the road. Cons: Nothing, had a great time.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Catered to our needs and made extra pancakes as a special treat. We also took away a delicious home made cake. Owner was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. Great to have use of lounge and cosy fire.
Cons: Sink in room would be useful as room wasn’t en-suite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The clue is in the name, No. 15 Bed&Breakfast - the bed was exceptional and the breakfast delicious, generous and beautifully presented. Staff most warm, unassuming and charming. Available comforts included an avalanche of pillows, towels, fresh soap and high-end shower-gel - there are many, far meaner 2-star hotels that do not. Oh, and a grand setting so close to Loch Fyne you can hear the tide on the flood.
Cons: The decor is rather tired (though premises were exceptionally clean) and, at £45 a night, one doesn't expect to be sharing a bathroom - though that was clearly flagged up at booking. It should be borne in mind that accommodation in Inveraray and district is very, very expensive: nothing available in Inveraray itself south of £100 a night even this late in the season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding! Lots of choices, and I had pancakes with a butterscotch toppin, and bacon, whilst my husband had the full fry. The bed was super-comfortable, and the host family was welcoming and great fun. And, the house is right on Loch Fyne, so the view was incredible.
Cons: It's only a small niggle, but I didn't know the bathroom facilities were on the ground floor and our bedroom was one floor up. At 67 with creaky knees and a need for a toilet every few hours, having the bathroom on a different floor isn't all that great. That's probably not a big deal to a younger person, but it is probably a good idea when booking to check this out before booking a B&B (the onus is on the traveler, not the host).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: As above! Beautiful view over the loch. Comfortable room and bed. Lovely dinner cooked for us in the evening.
Cons: Entrance and outside a little untidy and bathroom downstairs but would stay again, these outweighed by the positives.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent view, excellent evening meal and breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host. Best views, even saw the dolphins!! Great breakfast, relaxing and very comfortable. Will definitely be back, thanks so much for having us. Xxx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was a retired chef so the meals were beyond compare; delightful presentation and exceptional taste. The view of the loch sitting out on the porch (and from our bedroom window!) was beautiful! Comfy mattress so we slept well. We really enjoyed talking with our friendly host.
Cons: nothing could have been better. It was terrific.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: We were greeted by Cameron in a very welcoming manner, also when explaining the facilities. He was also very accommodating and helpful when needed. The suite was bigger than expected, having all the comfort necessary. I liked the quietness of the place and the views to the Loch Awe. Ideal for exploring the area and not suffering the businesses of big cities. We could walk to the attraction St. Conan Kirk. We didn't eat at their restaurant/bar to look after our dog. However, it did look also great. Highly recommended.
Cons: We enjoyed our experience, including our dog. Only to be able to stay one night, this is what we didn't like.

9.0 Excellent (182 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic, great views and quiet, lovely place to get away from everything including 4g.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cosy room with good bathroom. excellent breakfasts. Grew or reared most of their own food. Next to a RSPB reserve
Cons: Overpriced dinner (one course only, meat and 3 veg) cost £30 each! No starter or dessert.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 8 of us booked both rooms for a wee night away. The rooms where large and well equipped. The King beds where super comfy but I would warn that for anyone intending to use either sofa bed, they aren't the comfiest and really squeaky! After telling Kelly we wouldn't needing breakfast we changed our minds when we saw the menu's. The food was really nice and it couldn't have been easy to prepare 8 breakfasts at one time! (Sorry about that!) We took advantage of the hot tub on what was a very cold and rainy evening and it was lovely, a shame it was so cloudy so not many stars to see! The views from the farm are really lovely as are the owners!
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location with beautiful views. Decent sized room and comfortable bed.
Cons: There is no mobile/4G signal which is to be expected - so free WiFi was great to enable the next leg of our trip could be booked. However, it was available at all during our stay due to ‘weather conditions’. Just something to be aware of. Not luxurious - but clean and comfortable place to stay for a night or two. Little things would improve the experience - like soft towels (ours were tired and crunchy), noisy fridge in the bedroom (hard to solve but a shame in such a peaceful location).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kelly is such a lovely person who can't do enough for you. We loved the remote location just an amazing retreat to charge your batteries after the hustle and bustle of work and life. The accommodation is great and the views are stunning.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cottage being self contained was spot on as you didn't intrude on the hosts in their own house and vice versa. Had everything you would expect for a B&B. A cosy wee place in a fantastic location.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a lot better. The ordering system which is in place is spot on. The breakfast is served in your room at a time of your choosing, which they did, and is perfect. However, the breakfasts were not up to scratch, something I believe was a selling point on Tripadvisor but we were not overly enthralled. I'll not embellish too much but suffice to say the 'ordered items' were all there but sadly way over cooked and certain items served cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely hosts, fantastic breakfast! Just a really lovely break away from the city and crowds. Pier cafe’s rocky road was delicious! - recommended by Kelly

Pros: The fully set round breakfast table with tablecloth and ALL plates and cutlery in situ.It set the high standard for breakfast which was excellent with great company at the table with other guests and our host Janice. Also our bedroom was themed in the Charles Rennie Mackintosh style which although unusual was very effective and more importantly very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Great place to stay Nice comfy room with good facilities Lovely friendly host Pub next door worth a visit
7.5 Good
Pros: Janice was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with lots of extras.
7.1 Good
Pros: The rooms are spotless and I slept very well. There’s a very nice pub literally next door (which I'll probably try to stay at next time I’m up this way).
Cons: The rooms were very 90s style (do any guests need CD and DVD players these days?) and there was a lingering odour of cigarette smoke. I found Janice formidable and she has a very dry sense of humour (eg calling me a “cowardy custard” for not eating the black pudding!). Breakfast is taken at a single table shared with the other guests. We had a strange mix-up at check-out. Payment is cash only. (Note: the post office down the road is open only 10am-4pm and the ATM in the pub next door charges £1.75 per withdrawal). I checked my booking.com confirmation which stated that I'd paid online when I booked the night before. Janice acknowledged that and, after speaking to booking.com, accepted my original payment even though, she said, the website doesn't have her bank details. I was grateful she’d taken responsibility for the issue.

Pros: The breakfast was ample and very tasty (including homemade jams). The twin room was decorated well, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the sherry and chocolates, and the view of the lake from the window. As folks have noted, Janice is a character - prickly on the outside, but extremely caring on the inside. I felt ill during our stay and Janice arranged an appointment with the local surgery (doctor's office) in a jiffy. We had lovely conversations about how Janice and her husband came to operate the B&B, and about the Harrods Christmas bears. And she had valuable suggestions as to what we could do on our too short stay. Yes, you'll be asked for your breakfast order when you arrive - just be prepared - if you have questions, ask them. And yes, sometimes Janice's manner is brusque. However, she truly cares about her guests' comfort, and she has created a very lovely B&B.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in a breathtaking part of the world. You can't fail to be impressed by the views. My single room was lovely with a nice view to the mountains. The multi jet shower was great. I couldn't eat all of the breakfast but could stay on and finish my coffee (s). I cant wait to visit again. Well done the staff who provided a great stay even though they were short staffed. A pleasure.
Cons: Nothing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast, cosy atmosphere and a very nice and friendly host. Hotel a bit "oldish" but in the nice way:)( The staff was like a family and we felt welcome in this hotel a few meters from beautiful Loch Lomond.
Cons: After a long day in the car we needed a good walk - but that was not possible near the hotel. A bit frustrating - the surroundings are so beautiful, a path along the Loch would have been amazing….
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Splendid location
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was fine with a good choice and freshly cooked, coffee was confusing as to whether is was delivered to our table or left to serve ourselves from a machine, we had both.
Cons: Evening meal was a bit hit and miss, we experienced good food and not so good. In particular my wife had Mussels as a starter which were excellent, my homemade steak pie arrived with burnt pastry and dried up in the middle. Our second night was better but no brilliant. Staff moods were irregular, our second night we hadn't booked a table which was an issue for the waitress from her attitude. Paid extra for a deluxe room with Loch view, not sure we got deluxe and the view was across a car park, lodges and caravan site.
