Pros: Cleanliness, presentation, welcoming owners, all the small things you don’t expect such as a glass of wine on arrival, the gardens were well kept and stunning, Liz and Douglas gave us tips on where to go and then booked us a table in the close by Fox & Willow, breakfast was really nice, I can’t recommend this place enough

Pros: My third stay here. Perfect as always. Great people, excellent WiFi, comfy room and a delicious breakfast. Centre of town just 10 minutes walk as is the railway station. Would recommend to others and is always my place of choice in Ayr.

Beaches is a small family-run guest house featuring a large private garden with gated access to Ayr’s sandy beach. It's set just 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr’s centre with its shopping, dining, and nightlife. With an LCD TV, free WiFi access and garden views, all Beaches rooms also have a private bathroom. Locally sourced produce from Ayrshire farms is used in the full Scottish breakfasts. Free-range eggs, haggis, square sausage and tattie scones are just some of those on offer. Continental options are also available. Secure on-site parking is provided for motorcycles. Troon Golf Course is only a 10-minute drive from Beaches. Ayr railway station is just 1 mile away and has services to Glasgow Central station every 30 minutes, while Robert Burns birthplace museum is a 5-minute drive away.

Pros: Jan went above and beyond with her service, the little touches in the rooms were lovely , such as the homemade short breads and supplying you with toiletries. The breakfast was perfect with a great selection and fruit! Her homemade jams are delicious.

Pros: Every thing about Beaches is so, so good, especially breakfast, absolutey nothing is a problem for Jan whose wit and bon homie are the icing on an otherwise excellent cake. a stay at Beaches is like united nations on our last visit we encountered French, German and Spanish visiters which just proves that the lovely town of Ayr has an international appeal, I can commend a stay at Braches without reservation!

Pros: The room was very clean and tidy and well decorated and furbished. We had access to the beautiful back garden as well. The bathroom was spotless. In our room we had complementary hot chocolate, sweets and homemade shortbread which was delicious. The host was super friendly and welcoming. She is a very warm person and made us feel at home immediately. Our breakfast was delicious. There is a wide range of fruit, cereal, diet yogurts and juices. The hosts are more than happy to cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free diets. Our hot breakfast was also delicious. The host cooked some fresh scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and porridge. We had some lovely croissants and pastries too with a wide range of jams and marmalade.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect and we had a lovely stay. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros: Short stay in Ayr with my daughter and vey glad we chose Beaches. Our suite was immaculate and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including homemade shortbread! The B&B is in the perfect location, a stone’s throw from the beach and the town centre. Would definitively stay here again if we return to Ayr.

Pros: The room was In a 'Olde World' style, but very spacious and comfortable with modern facilities for Tea and coffee. The beds (2 Singles ) Were very comfortable, and spacious Drawer space. A walk in wardrobe provided more than enough space for Two guests on a lengthy stay, The shower/Toilet room was also spacious and very clean and modern with complimentary toiletries....Breakfast was served in nice dining room on Ground floor and consisted of a wide range of excellent Cereals and fruit juices. plus cooked breakfast from the menu served promptly.

Pros: EVERYTHING !! So cosy and homely. Karen the owner was so friendly and welcoming. There is nothing she hasn’t thought of. Lots of lovely little touches that made our stay so wonderful. Such a shame we were only staying for 1 night. Oh, and the Full Scottish Breakfast was just yummy.

Pros: the breakfast was wonderful quality,much more than i ever expected.i liked the way this bandb gave you so much as complimentary,very sharing indeed.The garden was excellent for my dog,The owner was friendly and welcoming,even giving my dog an extra slice of bacon,even reminding us that we left items. The house was very nice inside and although we had a shared bathroom still made for good value, What more can i say just a brilliant experience and would definitely stay again,

Pros: Jackie gave us a very friendly welcome and helped us with some ideas of places to go with our little girl. Our room was a good size with a modern shower room. It was spotlessly clean throughout.

Pros: There was an excellent selection for breakfast also all the food was freshly cooked and very generous. My room was very well catered for with bathroom requisites, plenty of hot water at all times and a super shower cubicle. Also tea/coffee/biscuits/fresh jug of cold water each day and sweets - what more could one ask for? Bed was very comfortable and location very quiet.
Cons: Maybe twin room may have been quite crushed with two people but as I was on my own that did not bother me.

Pros: Beautiful property and fantastic host. Lovely room with all the mod cons. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Douglas, the host, couldn’t do enough for you. A wee bit away from Troon town centre but that’s not a complaint, the property is in a very nice part of Ayrshire. Definitely come back and it’s a great place to stay, especially,if you’re a golfer.

Pros: The host was lovely and attentive. Quite, clean and comfortable place with a home-made delicious hot breakfast. I highly recommend it. If you wanna rest and enjoy a calm environment, even see a few animals, it's the perfect place.

Pros: This is a very organized and well run property. The room was spotless and comfortable. From the offer of a coffee or tea on my arrival to my check-out, everything was handled very professionally. The wifi worked very well. Breakfast was excellent with adequate choices. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again if I am ever back in the area.

Pros: The rooms are lovely and very spacious. Excellent location, close to sea front and short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Paul the owner was very friendly and hospitable. My friends and I were staying with our grandchildren and Paul went out his way to ensure their requirements were met at breakfast.I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Cons: Breakfast (we thought) was rather expensive (we chose to eat breakfast elsewhere. The bed frame came apart on the first (of three) night - support slats underneath matress came loose causing collapse - had a good laugh though!
