Maison Des Palmiers - Bize Minervois

9.6 Excellent (47 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience! Such as we were blown away by the beautiful area, we were as well by the lovely service off our awesome hosts Richard and Sandy. We immediately felt home in this clean, spacious and cosy house. Also the longer we stayed the more we noticed the place was full of little details, story’s and history. We already looking forward to our next visit!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sandy and Richard were perfect hosts with exceptoinal service and also the hotel is immaculate. If I was to go to France again and stay in this area I would definitely go bcak. It was the small touches of little extras at breakfast with Richard's homemade blueberry pancakes, cakes and also biscuits in the room. This place definitely stands out to others in the area and would definitely recommed staying here.
Cons: Nothing, everything is perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Richard and Sandy are truly marvellous hosts! They go out of their way to meet their guests' needs - and even go way beyond that. Sandy makes great cocktails, and when one of us could not drink alcohol he made every effort to come up with a wonderful mocktail. Richard is a gifted chef - especially his cakes and pastries (of which there are plenty at the excellent breakfast buffet) are delicious. Moreover, when we did not have a car for a couple of days due to a damaged wheel (always bring a spare when driving in France!), Richard and Sandy helped us in any way possible; From storing our excess belongings to driving us to our next location, they were real lifesavers. If we could grade 'service' at 11/10, we certainly would. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Maison des Palmiers!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Richard and Sandy just went the extra mile at every opportunity. The house, village and food were all gorgeous
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay ! Richard and Sandy are the nicest hosts you could meet. From the moment you enter their stunning property you feel so welcomed. We never experienced such perfect stay in our life. The owners make every effort to make their guests stay comfortable: fresh muffins, beautiful cocktails, tasty barbeque and fresh salads... The property is full of charm and the pool is perfect. The local village is very cute and the only regret we have is we wish we stayed there longer. Best of luck guys
Cons: We loved our stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most amazing hosts! A wonderful stay in a great location. We were over for a wedding so only stayed for the weekend, I wish we stayed for longer. Richard and Sandy gave us the warmest welcome. Breakfast in the garden was fantastic, an amazing french spread of pastries and fresh fruit. I can’t recommend enough, we look forward to returning to Maison des Palmiers.

Pros: We stayed in the middle of harvest season but even though the family were busy they had the time to make us feel welcome, and helped us book a table at a nice restaurant they recommended. The room were majestic and just like you would expect it to be in castles and the pool area is a fantastic place to relax with a glass of their great wine or a nice book.

Pros: This is a real experience to enjoy ... we enjoyed the wine tasting and the staff went out of their way to provide a lovely tapa s dinner our 10 year old could also enjoy ... breakfast was amazing! And the pool setting is very picturesque and refreshing.

Pros: From beginning to end, our visit was a complete pleasure. The hospitality was both generous and relaxed, making us feel welcomed into a most luxurious family home. I can't wait to recommend it to all my family and friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were friendly, helpful and made you feel at home, breakfast was great. The rooms are decorated to the highest standard and in keeping with the property We liked the Swimming pool, good size with cover from the sun as well as loungers The view across the valley over the terraces was great, right next to the Canal du Midi Being attached to the Winery gives you an extra dimension to the experience; thoroughly recommended.
Cons: The Chateau is a way from the nearest rail or bus connection, but the Chateau arranged a car to pick us up. Being a small village there are very few places to eat, but I am sure there are plenty of restaurants the hosts could arrange a car to. There was nothing about the Chateau itself we didn't like, we spent our two days smiling and relaxing.

Pros: Next to a chateaux and close driving distance to bize menervois, although not walking distance.
Cons: €130 a night is very expensive for the age of the rooms — the photos are well taken to hide the dated decor and fittings so bear that in mind. It was fine, it was a place to sleep for the night, but it felt overpriced.
