Located in Arguedas, Casa rural La Bardena Blanca I is on the boardwalk, a 2-minute drive from Bardenas Reales Natural Park and 5 minutes from Senda Viva Amusement Park. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: They let me use their kitchen, it saved me because I'm a vegetarian. I stayed for three night, they cleaned the room everyday. Good location as the hotel is in the centre of the small village, there were bars, cafés, minimarket etc. I didn't drive, could rent a bike to see around the mountains.
Cons: The staff wasn't there when I checked in, and had to call her. But I can't speak Spanish so difficult to have communication initially. I stayed in the begging of November, there were many flys everywhere, ie hotel room and restaurant.
Pros: Friendly host, let us use the kitchen and patio. Very convenient for visiting the park. Ac was a lifesaver.
Pros: We only stayed one night as we had visited the Bardenas Reales that day and then we were moving on. We didn't stay for breakfast as we left early the next morning. The room we had was fine for our requirements, although we are unlikely to stay again. My husband found the bed too short for him when he layed down as he is quite tall so he had an uncomfortable night's sleep.
Pros: Really Spanish, really interesting, good WiFi and lovely breakfast. The village is delightful, and the area around is breathtaking.
Cons: No secure parking- but in fairness the area appears to be safe. In the ‘apartment’ the two bedrooms are really one split level room, divided with a curtain! No privacy at all!
Pros: Esperanza (the host) is a welcoming and lovely lady. She made great breakfast and told wonderful and funny stories. Made our day!
Cons: All good!
Pros: The ecological footprint of the bath'room' is a miracle. On 40x40 inches there is a wash-bowl, a toilet and a shower sink (25x25inches). And the plastic curtain sticks snugly to your body whilst the water trickles down on you. And yes, it is really close to the Bardenas, but you should consider going there by camping car.
Cons: In the same house stayed for the night men who were not tourists, they made noise until 23:30 they cooked their meal and all the bad smell was in the whole house and in our room. We arrived in a dark entrance room with the curtains closed in the evening and also in the morning. Strange welcome: first a neighbor from the street showing us a room, then a lady arriving for some minutes and changed to a different room and in the morning was there to cash the money. we asked for a breakfast when arriving but we have not got one as agreed . We did not feel on holidays and it was a really bad experience. We don't understand the ton of superb and great descriptions from other visitors, thus something must have changed in the meantime - but unfortunately for us not for the better.

Pros: The choice of breakfast was superb, couldn't think what WASN'T on offer. Most comfortable beds and pillows. Ideal for travelling to coast from northern ports. Very quiet.
Cons: The restaurant not opening until 8.30pm.
Pros: The staff at reception are always a complete delight. The hotel is right next to the motorway which makes it an excellent break point. Rooms are comfortable and some are pet friendly. The cafeteria is open 24 hours a day and is also pet friendly which helps when travelling with a dog.
Cons: Beds are a tad short if you are over 180cm. Staff in the cafeteria are always a little surly. My Spanish may be basic but it is accurate and effective so I don't expect staff to mock me. Out of respect for them I use Spanish, not English, so I expect a degree of courtesy not an attitude in return.
Pros: Location value for money
Pros: Beautiful bedroom very modern
Cons: All good
Pros: Comfortable and excellent value for money and the Buffet- Restaurant was exceptional!
Cons: Nothing much
Pros: a gem,all we wanted was a place to sleep just off the motorway, this was a palace, the buffet is fantastic,i recommend the bar b que
Pros: Staff were friendly and efficient particularly at reception. A lovely touch to leave a bowl and biscuits for the dog and great to have a 24 hour cafe!
Cons: A small area to exercise dogs would be useful
