It was a clean and nice room. When I booked over the internet there where only pictures of the main house of the hotel where I thought I would stay, instead I had a room in another building which wasn´t the same standard I thought I have booked. I felt it is unfair to a customer to not put all pictures and informations on the internet.
Very nice hotel in the middle of countryside. I was not informed, thagt the room I reserved was not in the main building. I was OK, but I wanted to stay in the main building, as this is the old castle.
The relaxed atmosphere on the estate was good and the religious background was both calming and satisfying. The bedroom accommodation (in an annexe) was slightly spartan, but quite adequate.
Historical manor-house building and well-maintained grounds give a nice impression of staying at a historical place. Good location, not far from a highway. Our room was not in the castle but in an apart modern building (though we were informed about while booking). The building and the room are very simple for 3-star grading. However, there's enough comfort for one-night stop. The rate is too high (however, the hotels in stockholm are more expensive).
Location Restaurant and bars closed too early
the very special (unique) context getting there. It's a bit difficult even with a GPS ( the adress was unknown for my garmin) ; they should put more indication on the street close to the hotel
the weather, the smiling staff and the surroundings. nope.
I like toys and game places for children near the hotel
Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, smiling hotel staff.
A beautiful building (seventeenth century castle) located in beautiful countryside with the Baltic sea visible in the distance. A very complete and tasty breakfast was provided. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful - no piped music anywhere! The hotel was more like a monastery than a hotel with a strong Christian element throughout. (A cross was even provided in the toilet!). There was no wi-fi, television, room telephone, coffee making facilities or bar and no one manned reception after 9pm. This "hotel" would be excellent for a religious retreat, but is quite unsuitable for business and most leisure use.
