The Days Inn/Arlington is the logical place to stay when visiting our nations capitol. We are so close to the Federal Government, the Mall and Georgetown, and yet we offer Continental Breakfast from 630am to 930am, reasonable rates and comfort. Ft. Meyer is a stones throw away from us, Metro six blocks away or better yet we will take you to the Rosslyn Metro Station via our scheduled courtesy van. From there on the entire DC Metropolitan area is yours. We are located in Arlington, VA. We are part of the greater Washington, DC area and yet we have kept our southern charm as well as International. We are here to please our government guests, families, seniors, and corporate guests. Come, stay with us and enjoy our hospitality. Sorry, No Pets allowed. Minimum check-in age is 21.
Clean facilities, friendly staff, and I'm happy that there was a recycling bin!
Towels all kept disappearing, so we had to keep asking the front desk for more, and there were restrictions on that. Also, no orange juice during breakfast? I found that to be odd.
Price was good and location was great.
The hotel was very outdated, cleanliness was fair at best, ac did not work, and the bed was completely uncomfortable. I am never going to stay there again and would not recommend anyone too stay either.
In an effort to provide a fair and complete review, I’ll start with the positives. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is reasonably clean and the bed was moderately comfortable…it is about average compared to other Days Inns I have stayed in.
The big problem with my stay, as indicated in the title, is that I was bitten by bed bugs. Big, itchy bites on my arm, neck and legs…10 bites total. It is difficult to prove, unequivocally, that I got the bites there, but my arm started itching right when I woke up that morning. I called the hotel multiple times before receiving a call back from the manager, who said that they had inspected the room and didn’t find any bugs… bites on my arm, neck and legs suggest otherwise. I will definitely not stay there again and will probably steer clear of any Days Inn in the future.
This is an old hotel turned into a Days Inn. The sink of my room was clogged and I could not use the bathroom until they moved me to another room. Other days inn are in less central positions but the facilities are much better.
Close to major roads, a number of nice restaurants within walking distance, nice and quiet location.
staff was very good, location to Reagan was great. value for money was good. willingness to switch me to another room room was clean
older facilities, the faucet in my 1st room dripped,
The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
I liked the convenience to DC and the location to the Iwo Jima Memorial and the Marine Corps Marathon
Only one restuarant and one take out nearby- although both were excellent
This is an older motel, and I like how they have kept some of the old features while updating others.
The restaurant at the motel was not open when I arrived, and there were no restaurants in walking distance.
confort of the rooms, very small.
room need repaire
The room was in terrible phsical shape.
Friedly and helpful staff - close in to major attractioms - shuttle to metro station
esay access; free parking; quick trip into DC; choice of car or Metro
Shuttle took us to train station we explored city centre
t was more of a motel than hotel.
The hotel had no record of our reservation. I had made a copy of the confirmation but that did not help. Luckily we were able to secure a room. Was not happy about this. I will never use this site again to book a room.
