The situation, the staff
The noise of the double bed
The apartment block looked new and very clean
We arrived in the designated time but there was no reply when we pushed the intercom to enter the car park. There were no staff a the hotel at 17.00 on a Saturday although they said they would be there till 19.00. We phoned booking.com and they managed to get us the 3 access codes we needed for the car park, the building and the safe where our key was, otherwise we would have been stranded outside the hotel. There are no staff Sundays. Ensure you are given the codes before you travel or phone en-route and then there should be no problem.
New and clean room with fold-out bed. When the bed is unfolded, you don't have much space in the room, but for one or two persons it is wieldy. Everything in the house was new and looks very representative. The room had its own "kitchen" (cook place) with two plate cooker and some kitchen equipment, including dish-washer. Recommend for business trip or for a young couple. There is a supermarket 30m from the house. Center of the city Arlon is very interesting, you can go shoping, to the restaurants, music club etc.
Very slow internet connection and carpets on the floor that smells a little from sweating foots. I think that in hotels is better and more hygienic to use paving, lino or floating floor.
The hotel is well located, close to the train station, shops and city centre.
Not a real hotel, more like a building with short let studios (living room with unfoldable bed and little kitchen) and appartments, mostly aimed at business customers looking for something in between a hotel and an appartment. Some hotel-like services are available for a fee, but only limited presence of personnel during weekends.
it was very clean, not far from main routes, very secure, very good value for money,
perhaps the rooms were small and the thought of converting the sofa to the bed and back every night not very appealing if you were to stay there more than a night or two.
Clean rooms, complete studio with good refrigerator, micro-wave,...
Clean. New. Secure Parking.
Room too small for furniture - so had to move table and chairs into separate corners to be able to walk around the unfolded bed. There was an overnight power failure in the area and the hotel was unable to restore the power in the hotel before we left at 9:15. This made it impossible to have tea/coffee. Shower etc was in the dark and the car park gate was only opened after a long delay and special efforts by the hotel staff to get advice on how to do this without power.
Bed was extremely hard leading to back ache
