10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location with a fantastic staff. Lovely country boutique hotel very friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb approximately 1 km outside Monachil and with a wonderful view of some Sierra Nevada mountains. The room was new and very well equipped. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The silence during the night was very calming. Good WiFi
Cons: Everything is setup for couples and I was staying there alone. The food was a bit disappointing however not bad at all. The breakfast buffet had not many choicest and was rather simple. The dinner with 5 courses was ambitious but uneven. Some of the dishes were sublime other tasted not so well. Worth the money? For me yes :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A home away from home. A lot of detail went into the design of rooms and common spaces. The staff were very attentive. Everything is very well thought out. You want a snack at the poolside? It’s self service and you just write down what you had. When we booked the staff made us aware that booking tickets for the Alhambra should be done as soon as possible as they book our months in advance.
Cons: Nothing but it’s up a windy road so make sure you arrive during day light the first time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with spectacular views, very friendly and attentive staff.
Cons: confusion over availability of WiFi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place offers stunning views, tranquility and peace. The quality of the breakfast and dinner was superb and relatively economical. Above all, the staff are truly special and comforting.
Cons: Road access is a bit rough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is really a great place. Where shall i start. The owners are super friendly and guest like. The property is very nicely decorated. The rooms are very clean and comfy and very complete. With a hamman bath, rain shower and all amenities. You could not ask for more. The breakfast is complete and you can enjoy this on the terrace with a million dollar view. There is also a swimming pool, sunbeds and a bar next to the pool with cold drinks and snacks. In the evening you can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal in a tremendous setting. I know i forget many positive things.. but i really want to say that this little gem is worth at least one star
Cons: Everything was perfect, we could not think of anything they can improve.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great. The room excellent. The location
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location.
Cons: The room is much smaller than the description. It says 269 269 ft² but that room had 200 ft² as Max. Too small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly staff
Cons: A bit of a strange smell greets when you walk into the room (assuming from water drainge pipes?) but other than that the room itself was very clean
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Junior Suite was excellent for kids. Lovely staff. Beautiful buildings.
Cons: If I’m being picky...Breakfast was too pricey to contemplate and perhaps a complimentary coffee machine wouldn’t go amiss as the in room coffee wasn’t overly generous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location. Safe and convenient. Close to the nice restaurants, market and cafes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building recently remodeled I think. Exceptional decor and design choices. 1st class across the board. Exceptional location just a few feet from the cathedral.

Cons: Nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location. Staff are really nice and polite. They all speak English fluently
Cons: Breakfast is not good at all. Fruits are overly ripe. No syrup for the pancake. It tasted just like a pastry looked like a pancake. I could go on on how disappointing the break fast is. Only thing I like is the coffee

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Set menu was excellent and good wine list at competitive prices. Very relaxing in rural setting. Definitely need a car. The patrons were very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Ideally we would have preferred not to have to sit at the same table each night but it wasn’t a problem.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place, full of character, a genuine and full restoration of a classical finca. Lovely terraced area and restaurant, food was fresh local produce, room and buildings in great condition. We will stay again for a battery recharge!
Cons: Access road is a longer trip than you might expect, just know that it is worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, beautifully maintained
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything else!! Great landscape, really good food and wine, biking and hiking in the countryside. The staff, the rooms.... just the pool area was a bit of a downer other than that everything else was amazing!
Cons: They have a lovely pool area, but the water is really cold and the sunloungers have no umbrellas which means you get hot very quickly. The canopied area only has seats so not really ideal for lounging by the pool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was surrounded by olive trees and only 45 minutes with an easy drive to the Allahambra Breakfasts were excellent and dinners even better as we booked half board. The wine list was excellent and Eilko, the owner, recommended 3 of the best wines I have had on my trip so far Silvia was great in answering any questions we had and corresponding promptly. You have to follow her directions to get to the property and not rely on your GPS
Cons: Wifi was slow in the rooms but OK in the courtyard and dining room sitting area Part of the road to the property was not sealed and even though I don’t like a dusty car I will book this property again next time we visit Granada (a 5 Euro car wash solved my problem)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Antonio the owner is a friendly helpful and pleasant man who cares about his hotel and guests greatly. Wonderful garden areas to front and back which provide somewhere cool and pleasant to sit. Breakfast with fresh juice, fruit, breads, cheese, hams and sweet biscuits is well displayed and plentiful. Air con in rooms is great, we had 202 at the back which has a terrace with view onto the pool. Everything about this place is immaculate, plus there’s a super restaurant 2 doors away (see my tripadvisor reviews). Highly recommend with a 9 euro taxi ride to town or 3 euro bus return which is right outside.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice house, close to Granada city, good value
Cons: Loud dogs next door, traffic noise so the balcony and pool area weren't completely peaceful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The yard is very well maintained and feels restful. The room we booked had a large patio; that was our favorite feature. The bathroom is our room was also quite large, with a jetted tub and a separate shower. It also has a french door that opens up to the patio. There is a small swimming pool that was pleasant. I took a late night dip. I appreciate that there was not an early curfew on the pool area. The cleaning staff was very friendly.
Cons: We did not have breakfast there because the selection seemed limited. We asked if we could just purchase a cup of coffee but were told that was not an option. At some times of the day, there is a bit much noise from the road. We had to park our car on the street; it was free though, so that's good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The terrace overlooking the pool and amazing views of the countryside. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Nothing not to like. The beds were a little hard for us personally but not really a criticism.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Excelent hotel very nice clean and comfortable, excelente breakfast, right next to the alhambra
Cons: I didn't research enough about the location. it is a good location for visiting the Alhambra, however it isn't in the middle of the town center the bars, restaurants, etc
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location just across the street from the Alhambra is excellent. Also, it is just a 15 minute walk to the center of town which has very good restaurants and shops. Hotel’s breakfast buffet is excellent!
Cons: I found it strange that for a 5-star Hotel, they didn’t provide face towels and skimped on tissue paper. The rubber tubing of our shower door fell off. It was already loose when we checked in so we found it strange that they didn’t repair it before giving us the room. As a result, the water leaked a lot from the shower to the bathroom floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a wonderful magical hotel which does everything a hotel should do exactly right. The staff are superb. Knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful.
Cons: Nothing. A wonderful stay b

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large spacious rooms. Huge bed and quality linens
Cons: Air conditioning was a wee bit too cold in room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is fantastic. The place is clean and the room was spacious. Staff were very nice and made lots of great restaurant suggestions for us.
Cons: Booked a room with terrace, but was told the room was under renovation and that we were to stay in a cheaper room for 1 night and move the next day. That was fine, since these things do happen, and they reduced our rate to the regular rate (no real discount) for the cheaper room and gave us 1 free breakfast (we don't eat breakfast, so we didn't use). But then we were told the next day the room with terrace was not ready for us to move into. So we opted to stay in the cheaper room for the rest of the stay. The room was nice, but the entire floor was under renovation, so it can get noisy during the day. Front desk manager will not help out with check-in/out even when the staff is busy with other guests and she was very comfortable with letting guests wait for 10 mins+ for the front desk agent to finish up with the previous guest. Can get a bit noisy at night with the garbage trucks. Despite the above, I'll still come back next time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed! Big room and stylish. 5 euro upgrade to superior room.
Cons: Could have had a bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This time I will write the staff. We had an issue with the air con the first night and straight away the next morning they were fixing it. They even asked us when we came back in were we satisfied. Cleaning staff were exceptionally beautiful towards us. They are a credit to your business.

Pros: Funky interior + Location in the city
Cons: a pool would have been nice

Overview Reviews
A19th-century palace and a dramatic modern building form the two parts of Hospes Palacio de los Patos. An urban retreat, the palace retains original details, such as mosaics, trompe l'oeil ceilings, and a grand marble staircase; while the alabaster-clad building next door is a vision in white. From cuisine to landscaping, authenticity and originality were the guiding principles for creating a sensory experience that brings the rich cultural history of Granada into the future.ARCHITECTURE & DESIGNHospes Palacio de los Patios combines dramatic classical design with equally stunning modern architecture. The palace building, with its striking façade and wrought-iron balcony, features carefully renovated original elements. These are complemented beautifully by the modern structure, which is connected to the older building via an underground walkway and ingeniously covered with water tanks. Highly contemporary design features are accompanied by sleek and sophisticated alabaster-white interiors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, very clean, perfect location
Cons: Nothing
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is incredible. We felt like we were in the heart of Granada without being at the epicenter. You can walk to the Catedral de Granada, the Albaicin and the Alhambra (although that is steep and you might want to taxi). Even without those amazing sites the plazas and winding streets are charming and enough for any tourist. The Hotel is beautiful. One modern building and one classic. Both are kept up. We stayed in the modern building and looked upon the classic. It was done in a way that didn't distract from either building. The staff is friendly. If you've rented a car then you can park it for a small fee.
Cons: The Food & Beverage department appears to be severely understaffed. The staff works hard but they seem frazzled and their scope of work seems to be too large - indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar tending and bussing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotels, very good breakfast, very nice staff. Best place to stay in Granada.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The design of the room is perfect and the match of materials and colours. The spa and swimming pool is attractive and beautiful although it is bit small. The restaurant is good and staffs are very kind, even their English is not really good but I can feel they are trying to be nice.
Cons: I really like the room perfume, but the reception cannot show me which brand it is, which makes me bit disappointed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Earlier in the month we stayed at Hospes hotel in Salamanca - yesterday we left Hospes hotel Palaciao de los Patos - it was a great stay! Location is super - an oasis close to the commercial center of Granada. Most of monuments and musea in walking distance - main shopping area just around the corner. Alhambra is 10 minutes by taxi away. Hotel has own parking - and valet parking service is great! Check-in was efficient and with care and a smile. Since we were a party of 3 adults we were granted an upgrade to a suite - which is a truly amazing room. Lots of character and space. The interior has a modern touch in an ancient building - a very nice combination. Room was well equipped - shower offers a lot of space - bed is very large and tall - and offers great sleep quality. Only missing piece in room is a Nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast was truly excellent - large choice and very fresh ingredients. Service at breakfast efficient but a smile in the morning would be great :) Worthwhile mentioning is the pool - not truly a swimming pool but rather a XXL jacuzzi (can handle more than 10 pax) in a nice spa-like environment. No daylight but great place to relax after a long and hot walk in the Alhambra. We had dinner one night in the restaurant which was super - recommended to make advanced booking since we had last table available on a sunday evening. Check out was also efficient and with warm smile. Overall a great stay - very consistent with Hospes experience in Salamanca - can only recommend staying in Hospes hotels.
Cons: A Nespresso machine in the room would make it perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff and the level of service was first class . For the price the standard was very high and the rooms very beautifully and clean . The spa was peaceful and relaxing
Cons: No view as such unless you stay in a superior room you are in a modern part of the hotel beautiful rooms but lacked soul would have happily paid more to be in the original part but as we were tired on check in we didn't discuss it the reception. Location is central but not picturesque
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegant with great amenities and a friendly and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing as everything was pretty much perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel in the centre of Granada with beautiful grounds and very accommodating staff. The little treats dotted around the hotel were a great touch!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was amazing and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The staff in the spa were very friendly towards my children.
Cons: As we required interconnecting rooms, there were limited choices. I booked the hotel hoping for a room with some features, but ours, whilst deliberately minimalist, were a little blank and dark for my liking (and for the money). The pool Was also more of a Plunge pool though it was great as a jacuzzi for the children.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was very good
Cons: Room interior in the “new building” was in the style of a new room in 2003

The Palacio de Santa Paula Autograph Collection is located in the historic center of Granada near the Albaicín and Sacro Monte areas, the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, the historical Gardens of the Triumph, the Archeological museum, and, of course, the Alhambra. The beautiful hotel, one of the best five star hotels in Granada, is a 75-room restored masterpiece that was also declared an artistic and historic monument. It replaced the Santa Paula Convent and the Casa Morisca, which existed in the XVI and XII centuries respectively. This luxury hotel’s restaurant, “El Claustro”, where the Santa Paula convent refectory used to be, offers guests haute cuisine that fuses elements of traditional Andalusian gastronomy with modern culinary concepts. Free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel so that guests can connect to the internet whenever they want. R.T.A. Registration Number H/GR/01177.

Pros: Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location of the hotel is good. Check in and check out process is seamless.
Cons: First room - toilet flush mechanism was broken, so we were moved to another room. In this room, we had the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air-conditioning vents around midnight. The condition of the towels was very poor/old towels - one bath towel tore. Parking is not easily accessible and is expensive.

Cons: The kitchen is small.

Pros: Great location. Would have been good to have a coffee plunger or at least coffee making facilities in our apartment. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 teenage children!

Pros: Location was great, close to many restaurants, shops and to Albaicin shopping and dining area. Having a suite was great, we enjoyed our own tapas from local markets. Air Conditioning worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very new. Price was very reasonable but hotels in Granada are lower cost than other places.
Cons: Street below was a little noisy but our windows were closed due to the heat and our allergies, so not much of an issue.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hospedería Los Cahorros in Monachil, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of San Jeronimo Monastery and Los Cahorros. Featured amenities include a business center, luggage storage, and a library.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, a quiet place don't expect to party every night. Perfect if you are in to hiking, cycling, etc. The sound of the river rocks you to sleep if, you leave the door window open. The owners are very friendly and offer advice if asked, if not they stay in the background. You will meet Garfield the ginger Tom. He loves a tickle under the chin and is very cuddly. The room we had was a good size with terrace. The bathroom is more than adequate. The only thing that needs changing is the very small bath to a shower plate. Would I recommend. Yes I would, my wife and I will return.
Cons: We both found the restaurant a touch expensive. The food is good and well presented.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and excellent value. Friendly service. Everything you need for a short stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: No allocated parking for the hotel. We were lucky and found the last remaining space on the road just along from the hotel. Early evening there were plenty of spaces but don’t know what it would be like in high season. There is a public car park opposite with a river between but could be a bit of a walk as there isn’t direct access to the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great towels and toiletries. Excellent breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful experience. The owners were so helpful and nice. They even drove us to the starting point of our hike in the morning. Gave us advice about the area and just were so friendly and open in nature.

5.5 Okay
Pros: it was clean and near the Cahorros
Cons: Tiny rooms, the restaurant didn t open in the evening at 6pm as it was mentioned but at 7pm. The breakfast buffet was very poor and not well attended. Definitely not a good value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little town, quiet and relaxing. We stayed here just 1 night after 3 nights in very busy, Granada. Large room with plenty of room for our back packs. Nice shower and large bathroom. It was our last morning in Spain so we enjoyed a good Spanish breakfast and perhaps the best macchiato we have had during our 3 weeks in Spain! The Sierra Nevada's are stunning, the mountains were topped with snow. We drove up to the ski area for a hike, and what a beautiful drive. We also did the hike through the gorge and walked out to town through fields of apricot, orange, pommagrante, and olive trees. Just beautiful!
Cons: Nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was everything we needed it to be. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

Pros: It was cosy family runned hotel, they had a nice restaurant on the ground floor with nice food. It's a very good place to stay if you are planning to go on hiking trip. Trails starts just a few hundred meters from the property. We liked our bathroom it was as large as our room :)
Cons: Everything was good

Cons: Rooftop pool area was quite small unfortunately so got overcrowded quite quickly in the afternoons.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel in a terrific location. Breakfast was OK, would have been nice to have more of a choice especially with the hot food. Sausages, rashers and scrambled eggs were not good. It was basic. Sun loungers were rigid and uncomfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and polite and friendly. Very clean hotel but a bit too modern for us. However, it was brilliant location and easy to walk everywhere.
Cons: Breakfast and sunloungers

Pros: The location and breakfast are amazing. The staff and the room are quite nice. I would definitely consider it a very good value for money.

Pros: The ambiance is great, the location is awesome. Catch the sunset at the restaurant. Its located at a hillside, looking allover the city, really close to Alhambra. Right in front of the hotel there is a bus stop and from there you can take a bus ride to the city- nearly more convenient than any other means of transport and its cheaper.
Cons: I have stayed in 6 hotels in Spain and then moved on to Lisbon, Portugal where I understood what was missing. In Spain, I haven't been to any hotels that I said wow to hospitality. Smiling personnel is a big must for me.

Cons: Check in was below expectation for a 5 star hotel.

Pros: Fantastic views over the city and a lovely open bar to sit and relax and enjoy the view.
Cons: All was good, very busy on approach to the hotel, but that is nothing to do with the hotel itself.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really helpful. City view rooms were beautiful. Hotel is amazing and the location was perfect.
Cons: It is an old hotel so some bits in the room need to be fixed. The water wasn’t going down in the shower, the tissue box would keep coming off the wall. And bits of the roof weren’t painted, but these are really small things that can easily be fixed. The hotel was beautiful.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, the location of the hotel was great. It is very close to Plaza Nueve, and bus stop to Alhambra. The lobby area and the room was well designed, clean and comfortable. We only didn't like the shower area because it has pitchy roof and you can use very narrow area while having a shower. The breakfast bar was ok, not so rich but enough. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The building is lovely and ancient, with an arab touch with the inner patio and in the room decorations. Very well located, staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast is not a highlight. Many good cafeterias nearby make for a better option to start the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet building. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very large, lots of light, nice bathroom, everything new and very clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and convenient EXCEPT for the fact that bringing a car presents some challenges. The streets are narrow and confusing and the parking is in an underground garage a couple blocks away. Get a SMALL CAR or else you won't fit! The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was quite nice as well. I recommend it (and I've been in the travel business for 30 years so I know my hotels).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is really well cared after and elegant. Staff super nice and helpful. Dedicated parking is great as it is almost impossible to park in the city center but...

Cons: Shared space very poor; breakfast table very uncomfortable.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful and welcoming. the rooms are updated and we’ll decorated. Really appreciated the black out shades!
Cons: The shower was far too small and it didn’t offer a shelf, so there was always water everywhere afterwards.
