Pros: Breakfast was great, staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They did everything they could to make our stay more comfortable and memorable. Much nicer than a standard hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient. It's walking distance to the downtown area where most of the restaurants, bars and attractions are. And there is a big Whole Foods a few minutes away from the location. Our room number is 39, which is a very lovely room. It has a beautiful light yellow and blue color scheme, cute decor, and great lighting. We especially like that there is an extra sink outside the bathroom, which allowed me and my friend using sink and mirror at the same time. The free breakfast provided by the Inn is a huge plus. They change the menu everyday, and every dish is freshly made with high-quality ingredients!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice and the hotel seemed very fancy/upscale. I liked that there was a pool, gym, and bar.
Cons: Most hotels offer free breakfast so I was disappointed that it didnt. We were there for a wedding so it would have been nice and extremely convenient to just grab a quick bite before we left. The breakfast you offer was very expensive and we were already spending so much money on the wedding and traveling we couldn't afford that. Also, we would really have appreciated a micowave in the room. Lastly, it sucked I had to pay separately for parking even though I was staying there. I get it it's the city and parking is scarce but it would have been better if parking had been included in my room price. I was not aware I had to pay for parking so when I showed up I was taken by surprise and I didn't appreciate that it just seemed like unknown last minute expense that I really had no choice but to pay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved how friendly the staff was and how clean the hotel was. It was just such a quick and simple process and would definitely come here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly convenient location for shopping, dining, driving/commuting, and the hotel granted my request regarding room placement. It didn't matter that the view was a construction site: I got plenty of sunshine and quiet!
Cons: I had emailed the property with a question about parking and never heard back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and cleanliness!
Cons: The cost for parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: There was some issues with the drainage in the bathroom. The water in the tub and the sink would go down extremely slow.
6.3 Good
Cons: I booked last minute and forgot my iPhone charger. I asked several people at the front desk to pls help me out and charge my phone at front desk, not to take charger with me, mind you- as I needed my phone to charge, they didn’t pay any attention to it, instead one looked just bothered-as if I was a new huge request. How inconsiderate! Also ac control was not working on room, call to get someone in my room, i asked if they could sent a woman as it was late at night, again same attitude. Pretty disappointed on service base on what they charge and common courtesy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is perfect everything in one location, (night Life, food, shopping, etc)

10.0 Excellent
Cons: The restaurants were not fully operational at the time of our visit
5.8 Okay
Pros: Rooms are beautiful.
Cons: No sense of arrival at a 1st class hotel. One looks first into a dirty storage area before you enter the reception. Very untidy pool and lounge area with a nice fireplace but all filthy and run down. Needs major cleanup. Sad! Place has great potential. No value for the money I paid unless they spruce up the place. Restaurants were closed. Very inconvenient to drive at night to a restaurant.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our time. I wish there were pool and some additional activities inside of the property ( for winter evenings).
Cons: Hmm.. We like everything. I would little bit lowered the prices.. it is the best bonus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were there to celebrate our son-in-law's surprise 40th Birthday party. The location was perfect - so close. Two days before our arrival, I called the Inn and spoke with Nancy. We asked if we would be able to have our two grand-children, ages 7 & 9 stay over Saturday night, the night of the party. Not only did they accommodate our request, they upgraded our room, to ensure there was room for the bedding they provided for the two kids. They even checked in with us that Saturday to ask if we wouldn't prefer a larger room with a pull-out couch vs. the inflated bedding. We stayed put because we loved our room and the additional bed worked perfectly. We enjoyed a delightful and delicious breakfast upon our arrival in The Barn restaurant on site and had dinner that evening in The Farmhouse which was also delicious! Both provided great service and every where we went we were greeted with such friendly staff people. We would definitely return to stay here again and refer others we know who would be traveling in this beautiful area we've come to love since our family moved here in the summer of 2017.
Cons: n/a
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The ac/heating system wasn't working - my room temp was 80 degrees - it was unbearable. Bedford staff finally secured a air conditioner but it was noisy and not too helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Property is beautiful, completely off the beaten track and very quiet. Check in is personal and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was large and tasteful, bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well stocked. Large free standing bath plus huge shower, both great and the Molton Brown amenities were lovely. Small lounge area was regularly stocked with different free snacks throughout the day and a fridge with complimentary drinks is a nice touch.
Cons: We were put in Room 1. It is on the ground floor, first room you come to so directly behind the reception. Also bang next to the lounge area so any time anyone was chatting there, you can hear them clearly. The room is also next to the door and stairs which connects to the restaurant and the stairs which lead to the upstairs rooms. Basically, you can hear a lot of noise when anyone is moving around. Very pricey for any disturbances. If we visited again, we'd ask for a room upstairs.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a good escape from New York busy area, lot of greens around, room was perfect to fit a family, small kitchenette was a plus, lot of parking area and very easy to access from highway, very recommended
Cons: The room has no safety box, valuables must be deposited at the front disk, I would rather they add safety box to rooms, breakfast is very basic and has no variety, room house keeping must be improved
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds are too high for someone with knee or hip replacement like me. Counter in kitchen is sharp and bumped arm pretty badly due to counter height. Room next door was super noisy despite reports to desk. More soundproofing or better security needed. Location and value were ideal, would recommend. Staff I did encounter were friendly and welcoming.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pool was very nice, and breakfast was good.
Cons: A dog stayed in the room across from us and peed right in front of our door. I didn’t mind the air mover to dry it out, but the hallway stank like pee. Also, we booked a 1 bedroom suite with a pullout. The bedding for the pullout was really sparse. The air conditioning made that room colder than the bedroom, and there was only 1 pillow and a thin blanket - even though we specified 4 people.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff was super helpful, outdoor pool looked clean, rooms were a great size
Cons: The room was a bit stuffy and I couldve used a better pillow but other than that I’d stay there again
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Horrible place. Will do whatever I can to keep people I know away from it

Cons: More vegan options for breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bartender was courteous, nice television, ok breakfast.

Cons: Nope
9.0 Excellent
Pros: hotel has a pool, delivery service came out that way, staff was super nice, quite remote location, but lots of people around so you didn't feel in the middle of nowhere
Cons: The hotel rooms are detached from the check in/pool/restaurant/bar... it's a separate building with a connecting bridge. None of the doors to the hotel part lock at all, and are constantly open to the public- quite strange and unsettling!
6.0 Good
Pros: The location and free parking was convenient and met my needs. Beds were clean and comfortable.
Cons: A bit dated, the room needs an upgrade from flooring to walls. Had to call maintenance for being locked in the room and could not unlock the deadbolt from the inside. Elevators not working and had to use the service elevator, safe in the room needed repl

Cons: What we did NOT like was being charged $18 for parking our cars. I believe this added cost will discourage future clients. Please, take this criticism as a recommendation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities and friendly people at the restaurant
Cons: We arrived early morning around 8:30. I asked to front desk personal ( black woman) if we can do an early check in. I sawed to her my reservation number. But she was very rude. I told her .- “please don’t talk me like that”. After that she wasn’t helpful and denied the early check in.

Pros: The courtyard/ lobby is breathtaking and sooooo peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean .The ambience is what I treasures and will recall. Susie in the restaurant and bar area was exceptional in manners and information .Heartfelt thanks
Cons: Perhaps a second lift would have been a bonus but this seems churlish as the hotel is FABULOUS
6.8 Good
Pros: Area. The cleanliness and amenities
Cons: Had to pay to park overnight. Room by atrium had noise from guest at bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food at the gazebo bar & grill was pretty good
4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff. Love the water feature off of lobby. Pricey $18 night to park. Expensive breakfast buffet ($25.00) cheaper options. One egg doesn't even come with toast. That's $4 more!
Cons: Noisy quiet hours are 12-8. Ridiculous for guests needing to travel first thing in the morning! Smashed dog poop steps outside of elevator not cleans up until an hour plus since I called front desk. Kids splashing foot ball in pool, parent in hot tub

6.8 Good
Pros: The ala carte omelet and tea cost as much as the breakfast buffet, so there was not advantage to ordering ala carte.
Cons: The guest in the room next door kept his TV on loud and I called the desk at 2:30AM to request the he be contacted and asked to turn the TV down. I heard his phone ring and every word of his conversation with the front desk so I know he received a call. Thankfully, he turned the TV down, but not off. I should not have been able to hear that much sound coming from his room. For the price of a room here, the soundproofing is not adequate. There was also a mix up about my reservation through a third party. When the front desk clerk could not find it in the reservation system by the confirmation number I provided, I just had her book me into a room independent of the reservation. My credit card was then charged for a no show reservation. The front desk clerk was able to correct it before I left but it was an unnecessary hassle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very soft bed! Modern, tasteful decor. TV was Netflix enabled. Shower was great and had plenty of water pressure. View from room was very pretty. Very quiet at night. We didn’t use the pool but it is gorgeous and looks very clean. Shop was overpriced but that is the usual. Hearth restaurant was AMAZING for dinner! Best meal I have had in a while. Breakfast buffet was nice but a little expensive. Dogs are allowed and while we didn’t bring ours we enjoyed seeing all the pups and never heard any barking. They may be only in a certain section of the hotel. Staff was friendly and everyone always says hello and someone always holds the door for you. Close to train station to travel into NYC. It’s about a 50 minute ride. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Parking lot was super full Saturday night so we had to walk pretty far after a day in the city. They do have complimentary valet but you have to tip of course.
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: We were given a room that had a dog before. We have a dog (that did not come w us) and our house does not smell like that. It was not well cleaned.

Pros: The hotel is so beautiful. Very open lobby. Bright
Cons: I got there 20 minutes before check-in. I inquired about an early check-in and they agreed to do it as long as I paid $25 extra for an early arrival. Honestly, it was so unusual to go thru that.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
5.0 Okay
Pros: The refrigerator is a plus.
Cons: There are no vending machines. If you do not go to the store prior to your stay you are forced to pay 3 dollars for a beverage. The board in the bathroom were chipped significantly the cabinet next to the dishwasher looked pulled out. I had left my debit card that was used to make the reservation and I came to visit family over 2 1/2 hours away we called to see if there was another way to go about it whether it be having the bank on the phone to verify my identity and the person who we spoke to who was the supervisor was extremely rude. Said the only thing we can do is cancel and if we were going to do it we would have to do it right then and there. The only other thing she offered was to go all the way back to get it. We live 2 plus hours away so that was not an option.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing

5.0 Okay
Pros: I thought the staff at the front desk and the restaurant were very nice.
Cons: My room smelled of mildew, the only way to minimize the smell was to run the air conditioner, It was early May, so we were chilly the whole time. Also the cleaning staff knocked on the door 3 different times starting at 9:30am on our last day. This was super excessive, considering we were checking out at 10:30am (the checkout time is noon.) It made us feel unwelcome and rushed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I got in quite late and really was just there to sleep and shower. I can say that the water in the shower was nice and hot.

7.5 Good

Cons: very dark breakfast was very disappointing - the eggs were old no restaurants in the area
6.3 Good
Pros: The location.
Cons: To much noise late in the night and some trouble with the toilet. The breakfast choices were limited. To much carb.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast could have had more fresh fruit and yogurt. Even though it is a continental breakfast it would have been nice to have turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels and cream cheese. Breakfast was lacking only waffles and fruit was not replaced after being overly ripe.
Cons: There needs to be some updates with the plumbing and it would be nice to re-open the outdoor pool especially in the hot weather. It is nice addition being so far out from a bodega or store to pick up soda's and snacks. Great for airport over nights.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Remote area staff are smoking outside main entrance middle of the night when i came nobody was in the front desk to assist right away booking didnt go through took so long to figure it out hallway is dirty and very dark creepy place looks like a hunted hospital and back door is open not properly lock not so safe especially rooms are all in groundfloor and very far from my expectations of

Cons: Breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Parking
Cons: Need grab bars in the showers .
5.8 Okay
Cons: The doors where not working couldnt get in or out the exits near our rooms kind of scary if a fire was to occur. Also the kids left a blanket and pillow and when we called them to retrieve it before we head on the road for our 24 hour drive, since we live in the midwest they told me i had to wait till the next day to talk to someone. I explained that i live in a diff state and that i never heard of having to wait till the next day for items that most likely was picked up by housekeeping. Then he said to give him a few min and call back. I called back 30 min later, enough time to check he claimed that it was thrown out
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel staff was gracious and helpful.
Cons: The hotel was older. The sinks drained slowly and the toilets took at least 2 flushes to clean out. The doors were difficult to open.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Central Motel Courtyard, you'll be centrally located in White Plains, a 1-minute drive from Westchester County Center and 12 minutes from Sarah Lawrence College. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Price
Cons: Small bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Property was very convenient to the game I attended at the Westchester County Center, and to the the numerous shops and restaurants both adjacent and across the street. It was both quiet and comfortable.
Cons: When I checked out the hotel clerk answered thru the PA system but I didn't see anybody in the office. She said to just leave the key card in the box on the office wall outside. Since the posted sign said that anybody staying past 11 A.M. would charged for an additional day, I was concerned that this should have been more formal. I checked out at about 10:30 A.M. after walking around some in the morning. I didn't know for sure if there should have been a check out receipt in addition to the payment receipt or not.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The Motel and room was clean. OVERALL it's was good for the price.
Cons: I didn't like that I could not control the heat in the room..
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything. Seemed like a seedy place. Front desk was behind a glass barrier. Sheets didn't fit bed. No rack for suitcase. No control for heat. No place in bathroom to put toiletries. No phone. Loose front door etc. etc.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed turned out to be comfortable, although it was only a double, not a Queen, which is unusual these days. The shower was good once the hot water reached it.
Cons: The parking lot made me worry about the place - it's old and drab and very worn looking. The picture used of the motel doesn't represent the looks of the place well. The room is drab, old, stained and made me concerned that it would be dirty. But it turned out to be clean, just dreadfully drab - something from the 50's I imagine. And it cost 50% more than we would pay for a nice Quality Inn or Comfort Inn room, but we're in White Plains, so the higher cost is expected. I'd look elsewhere next time.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Everything
5.8 Okay
Pros: location was convenient for subway to city and shopping and reasturants
Cons: No hot water sometimes older building lacked sound proofing could hear adjoining room
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to Rockefeller Estate.
Cons: Yes. I left a cell phone charger in the room. The staff located the charger but refused to send it to me in the mail.I offered to reimburse the hotel for the postage but never heard from them. Poor customer service. Back to AAA NY in the future.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location was convenient for my purposes.
Cons: Would have been nice to provide coffee packets each day. I was provided only one for the week. No refill on tea bags, either. Need to treat the bathroom for insects.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: The room smelt like smoke and the air it thick, I couldn't breathe!!!! The mattress was like a queen while the box spring was a twin.So the mattress over hung!!!! The bathroom window had a plastic bag over it and duct taped shut. The carpet was stained and had cigarette burns all over it. I sat In you car and watched EVERYTHING you see on cops. I watched a kid deal drugs for HOURS right outside overnight and I watched random men coming and going all night in different rooms. What's in the pics this hotel advertises is NOT what you get!!!!!!!
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Very dirty room. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Could hear everything going on next door.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Poor fournitures and noisy when neighboor put music or... But the location is simply excellent
