The young man at the reception was very nice, friendly, and spoke good English. The room was very clean and immaculate with two sinks in the bathroom! The grounds and interior of the hotel were well-appointed and tasteful. I wish the hotel had rooms which were air-conditioned.
I found it very relaxing, which was the focus of my trip. The hotel is nicely appointed and restful.
The best was the staff, really helpful and nice. The beautiful location and comfortable room.
The directions left a lot to be desired! The hotel is at O Barco not in Ourense,120 kms away. The address is incorrect on your website
The staff at the hotel were excellent, the ladies both in reception and in the bar/restaurant were extreemly helpful, friendly and professional. They made our stay very pleasant. The surroundings are beautiful and the walks are most enjoyable, especially if topped off at the end of a days walk in the hotel's relaxing spa and a delcious serving of duck in the hotel's restaurant, truely yum!
The perfect location for starting the Camino to Santiago from O'Cebreiro
Restaurant service was poor
A superior truck stop, well appointed, very comfortable, reasonably priced. A welcome break on our Camino. Smoky bar and eating area, in common with lots of Spanish hotels.
Rural setting easy parking and easy to find. Breakfast choice extensive Very hot room had small double bed and it was very hot with no air con or fan!
The location was perfect for us No bar
Beautiful Hotel!!!! Very big rooms. Close to the Las Medulas area which was exactly what we looked for. Breakfast was excellent!!! Big parking next to the hotel. Nice hosts. We got the whole Hotel to ourselves (even without the hosts who came back at the morning to make us breakfast). The staff didn't speak English and was not at the Hotel at the time of our arrival so make sure you have a cellphone in order to call the host. A little isolated area
Beautifully kept and decorated in traditional homey style. An absolute gem set in quiet countryside with interesting World Heritage Roman historical site nearby. Delightful evening meal served en famile. The house was not staffed when we arrived. Luckily I had a mobile phone. The owner spoke no English and I not enough Spanish. Luckily we both spoke enough French so I could understand instructions for letting us into the house and our room.
First and foremost the proprietor whose hospitality and friendliness was unlimited. Cooking plain, plentiful and very good, as was the value. The swimming pool is covered. The standard room was very comfortable, as was the whole hotel. Absolutely nothing, it suited us perfectly.
good location for las medulas, good room with excellent facilities and nice log fire in sitting room. excellent breakfast with local specialities nothing but be aware you need to phone for entry as sometimes they are off site
Wonderful hosting by the staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner, cooked to our vegetarian request.
